1  Bitcoin / Legal / Why Ban Cryptocurrency with Zero Research or Consultation? on: June 14, 2018, 11:20:17 AM
My attention is drawn to this move by the authorities in India and I can't help wondering, why such desperation to ban something that's being celebrated by its citizens and even authorities in other climes? Is this not a clear manifestation of governments caring less about what the people truly want?

I was looking at cryptocurrency as a leveler for the developing countries, but it's disappointing most of them can't even see beyond their nose and instead are busy trying to reinvent the wheels.

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / ‘We Welcome Anonymous Cryptocurrencies’ : US Federal Reserve Breaks Down Bitcoin on: April 24, 2018, 06:49:36 AM
The Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis, one of 12 regional Reserve Banks that make up the United States’ central bank, has conducted a study asking some of the biggest questions in cryptocurrency today – and they may have found some real answers.

Their researchers investigated the control structure of various currencies and looked into whether central banks will adopt cryptocurrencies as a form of payment.

Commodity, Cash, or Digital?
In an effort to assign Bitcoin one of the above monetary categories, the researchers concluded that Bitcoin actually defied traditional categorization – it’s none of the above, as shown in the chart below.

I didn't see the usually finger pointing at Bitcoin by the authorities - Bitcoin facilitates crimes blah blah blah! Can we say, they're now beginning to think straight, especially as there're emerging news of the authorities from different climes, like South Korea,Sweden, etc becoming quite upbeat about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency?

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Riding A Reverse Head N Shoulders On BTC-LTC on: November 11, 2017, 02:29:09 PM

The above is a reverse Head n Shoulders formation for BTC-LTC, which is actually inline with some bullish trend being overdue for a number of altcoins. If you can see the same picture, let's ride it all the way to 0.0982962 or 0.01026132 BTC

4Hours later: Making progress - up to 0.00966148 BTC, a little push more and we'll hit target!

About 2 Hours later, TARGET was hit! Hope someone else made some money too out of this? That's how we trade guys, don't wallow in unbelief, learn and learn, it's worth it!

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Drawbacks And Bumps On Bitcoin Path! on: August 29, 2017, 01:49:11 PM
These are apparent threats to this exquisite technology that offers us freedom to choose for ourselves and to control our own destiny, no matter where we live or were born.

1. Increasing number of attacks, forks and ransomware

2. A limited number of available coins

3. Increase in complexity of Bitcoin mining

4. Slow processing of transactions

5. Increasing transaction fees

6. Price fluctuations

7. Lack of malleability within the network

Where do we go from here?
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Making Technical Analysis Count In Crypto - Trading on: August 26, 2017, 05:34:12 PM
Bitcoin Cash came into existence a little while ago with plans to eclipse  Bitcoin  and so they invariably brought its capitalization chasing that of Bitcoin  -  higher capitalization means more liquidity.  I however did not bother to have anything to do with it, because it threatened our one and only Bitcoin, but while scrutinizing market setups last week - on 18/08/2017 , I spotted a Head N Shoulders pattern building up then fetched myself a seat  and have been enjoying the amazing ride over and over again till this moment .

Honestly it never seizes to amaze me when noob traders jump to conclusion that T. A. is useless in crypto-trading, perhaps they had better wake up from their illusions. Here's how it is going:

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Fear Of August 1st on: July 21, 2017, 11:21:19 PM
On the 18th of July, after the market  hqd taken a plunge two days earlier, this was the picture on my trading desk. Looking at the picture and then the possibility of a split into 2 - 4 Bitcoin coins, what was going to be your decision? Do you think those indicators have anything to add in reaching a trading decision? In between when this shot was taken and now, market have moved from $2300 to Over $2700 and most likely testing $3000 before 1st of August!

I am looking for a loan to boost my investment. If you are not comfortable with the structure as spelt out below, feel free to make me a suggestion or an offer! Depending on who I may end up with, an escrow may be invited.

Loan amount:  0.05 - 0.10 BTC
Reason for taking loan: Investment
Amount to be repaid: 0.055 - 0.11BTC ------>  [0.055/0.11]/4 BTC  weekly!       Open to negotiation
Repayment date:  Weekly ---> 4 times .
Type of collateral: My Account
Bitcoin address: 3MHh53jHMBffo2hsiwGZqYjG9UL7ZSeoGs,   1ESHogqB6w1k3Pu8FJ75qSyi2PUA2ZZsFi

I am using mostly the first address here, but can't sign it because it is a Xapo wallet. Second address is my blockchain account - about 3 years old. Being a long while, I used it because Xapo is actually without fees, but have withdrawn to both addresses from my crypto-games.net account as below:

Just two days ago, January 29, 2017, People’s Bank of China (PBoC) officially launched a digital currency research institute a day after the celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year. These were the exact words of the Technical director of Technology PBoC,
Quote
In an interview with a national newspaper China Securities Journal earlier this week, PBoC department of technology director Li Wei revealed the plans of PBoC to actively examine and explore Blockchain technology. Specifically, Wei stated that the central bank of China is interested in the ability of Blockchain technology to settle real-time transactions in a secure, cheap and efficient ecosystem of peer-to-peer users.
