6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] GAYMoney - X11 - 20%APR PoS - LGBTQ CRYPTOCURRENCY on: August 07, 2017, 08:44:30 PM
[ANN] GAY Money - X11 - 20%APR PoS - CORPORATE SECURED CRYPTO-EQUITY FOR THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY

GAY Money (GAY) was launched originally in 2014 as GAYcoin, and has quietly chugged along, producing a stable blockchain with low fees,  lightning-fast transaction times, and a sustainable 20% APR on active balances. This project was designed to provide a digital currency brand marketed to the LGBTQ community, with a focus on providing real world utility. The underlying mission of the GAY Foundation, powered by GAY Money, is to administer philanthropic funding earmarked for LGBTQ awareness and advocacy, HIV/AIDS research and support, and women's shelters worldwide in a long-term sustainable fashion; and to engage in targeted investing in LGBT-owned businesses and services.

The current goal for the 3rd quarter of 2017 is also to integrate GAY Money as a cryptocurrency into a corporate body - GAY MONEY LTD - registered in the UK, and we will be bringing forth several upgrades and enhancements to the GAY Money ecosystem alongside this change, including launching a GAY Money-branded fiat-gateway and exchange as well as setting up retail integrations both online and at local LGBT-owned and -friendly establishments with consumer incentivization programs and reloadable GAY Debit cards. The goal is to provide a secure and reliable currency that will be represented across the broad spectrum of the LGBTQ community and market.

Niche-market cryptocurrencies are important, and can be very successful if their target demographic market is large enough, shows a preference to brand loyalty, and can present an avenue for effective retail utility. The global LGBTQ+ market - estimated at a population of 450 million individuals, collectively represents about USD$3.7 trillion in annual spending power, and a specific pride of community and projects supporting it - meets all these needs for a successful niche-market altcoin. We feel offering a durable and borderless digital currency for the LGBT commmunity will also provide a form of financial self-identification, and present a ready alternative to current financial options from an established project and community which values their diversity and understands their needs.

As a market-ready digital currency, we are well positioned to take advantage of many emerging LGBT retailers online, and we are already working with LGBT tourism operators and "bricks-and-mortar" businesses and services to accept GAY Money in their establishments. We offer far lower transaction fees and verification times than Bitcoin does as a value transfer engine, with the same ease of use. We hope to become regarded as a healthy alternative for merchants who choose to embrace decentralized economies while at the same time showing active support and Pride for their local LGBT community. And we plan to GIVE BACK to these communities with humanitarian grants and sponsorships, to support artists and students. With a global ripple of increased market utility, we will drive the value of philanthropy the Foundation can deliver in a self-sustaining fashion.

GAYcoin itself was launched in 2014, by George Lawin, but after dealing with predjudicial attacks in the forums as well as in personal messages, the previous [ANN] threads were locked. Mr. Lawin did remain working with the currency, securing its listing on Cryptopia, and working towards his original goal of providing a legacy of support to the LGBT and HIV/AIDS charities and rights programs. I have come on board, having worked with SOILcoin for the past year and a half (and remaining working with that project), bringing with me an understanding of the paradigm shift we are approaching with cryptocurrency and blockchain tech in general, the ease of integration, and the unique global market this project can reach and serve in ways that Bitcoin cannot.

We have chosen to begin the process of registering for incorporation operating the Gay Foundation thru GAY MONEY LTD, and will operate as a self-funded development team towards building and maintaining a global GAY Money marketplace, buiding and maintaing a sustainable global philanthropic and LGBT rights network, and using GAY Money to invest in LGBT businesses. Cryptocurrency, in its many forms, will form the backbone of the future economy. We want to ensure that our project maintains the highest standard of how a cryptocurrency project can be a real world value item, a profitable enterprise with self-sustaining wealth and wage generation, and promote equality, diversity, humanity and love across the world by lifting up and assisting from the grassroots.

As before, the driving goal behind the GAY Foundation remains to "encourage equality, nurture diversity and eliminate hate". As such, the non-staking Foundation Wallet [gLsrjEbo31wmXZQssAeGyrw4CwBZgxafev] will be used to support charities, non-profit organizations and individuals worldwide in an effort to help raise awareness, to combat discrimination and help lobby for LGBTQ rights worldwide. We believe in an underlying principle of "absolute inclusivity" and celebrate every diverse form of humanity. The community will have a right to have their voice heard on where we can have the greatest impact on peoples lives, and we hope to also give a voice to these various groups and individuals with our GAY.news site, which will start off as a newsletter, but for which we have the view to provide relevant features, news and interviews that intersect both the cryptocurrency and LGTBQ communities. Investments into LGBTQ businesses and enterprises will be made thru the developer's own funds and will not be taken from the Foundation balances.

Currently on this planet, fully one-third of nations have laws prohibiting homosexuality, with punishments ranging from imprisonment to the death penalty. Fully one-half of the nations of this world have no protection against discrimination and human rights abuses towards the LGBTQ community. GAYmoney, and the GAY Foundation, will strive to be the voice that speaks out against this bigotry and senselessness.
Cryptocurrency CAN have a meaningful impact on real world issues, it can be a protocol that can survive outdated political institutions and become a vehicle for change in societies where the LGBT community lives in fear to this day.

We do not view this as an overtly POLITICAL altcoin, moreso, with increased market utility and demand, we are pursuing the economic equilibrium where retail users of GAY Money support the charitable aims of the project by continuing to provide liquidity and increasing value. We will aggressively pursue retail integrations, and have so far been operating with a "think globally, act locally" point of view, I have had discussions with several local community-owned businesses that are more than ready to accept GAY Money in their stores, and will be set up as this summer goes along and we have more of our architecture arranged.

Local reaction by business owners towards accepting GAY Money has been entirely positive, and many business owners have expressed that they would accept it simply BECAUSE it supports their community, directly and indirectly, that THIS is the sort of project that truly EMBODIES the idea of Gay PRIDE. The simple fiscal advantage of lower overall fees compared to bank, credit card OR Bitcoin fees, coupled with nearly-instantaneous and irrefutable transaction confirmations becomes an added bonus.

To encourage community support and involvement, we are equalizing the principle of corporate shares classes, and the rights those import upon shareholders, with the underlying currency GAY Money. With implementation of industry-standard KYC/AML services and "signed transactions", GAY Money investors who hold a verified minimum threshold of currency in an active wallet will have voting rights to help direct where the philanthropic funds are sponsored towards, as well receiving a proportionate dividend from the profits generated from fees on the better.exchange and fiat-gateway site. Members of the Board of Directors will maintain a much larger threshold of active currency, maintaining consistent network security with stable held equity.

We will be maintaining this thread with news and updates, and encourage an open and lively discussion on the project, the role of cryptocurrencies in niche markets and the future economy, and how GAY Money can help in your community. I encourage you to ask lots of questions so that we can build a highly informative FAQ for our website. I *DO* ask that if you simply want to engage the conversation with intolerant and discriminatory remarks, that you take it elsewhere. I appreciate every point of view, but will report prejudicial and senseless discriminatory authors to site administrators. We are a community of professionals, and we should conduct ourselves professionally. Be an adult and do not insult or put down other participants. Harassment and other exclusionary behavior is not acceptable and will be reported.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / H: GAYmoney W: BTC on: June 29, 2017, 03:42:46 PM
I am selling UP TO 500,000 GAYcoins for 0.00007500 BTC per unit. I will negotiate the sale price if someone is interested in buying a large block of currency. I havent done a great deal of peer to peer trading and would request escrow services, which i would cover the cost on.

I am using my equity in this project to purchase a home for my family. The purchase price of this home is less than 80% of its value while its insurable value is 5x the asking price. (its a grand victorian in very decent shape but one that witnessed a tragedy). I have already put $2000 CAD as a deposit on the home, with a balance owing of $110,000.

I initially set out to place this sort of balance in escrow and pay a lender from the generated interest over a five year period to cover both the purchase price and 25% interest to the lender. I believe the real estate market is set for massive disruption through cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, and eventually that sort of deal will be much easier to set up. With time an issue now, I would like to simply sell a larger block of GAYmoney at a reasonable price and cover the house costs.

I am a member of the core development team for this project, which is a pure Proof of Stake currency which provides a reliable 20% APR. Although the current [ANN] for the project is an older one, we have been working on rebuilding the project and have been buiding a number of services for a corporate launch on September 1. You can still download the GAYmoney wallets at gaycoin.online, but we will  be migrating this site to our new ones at gay.foundation and gay.money by the end of july. Presently we are traded at cryptopia, and are looking at adding representation on another established and trustworthy exchange in the next month.

The fund I am hoping to sell produces, with regularity, 250 GAY/day (7500 a month or over 90,000 a year) and with the developments we are working on and detailed below, our average valuation and market volume will be increasing substantially over the summer.

Current developments on the project include presently licensing an exchange to provide convenient fiat gateways to purchase or sell GAYmoney directly, as well providing an altcoin exchange against GAYcoin and few other popular base markets called better.exchange which will be live for the corporate launch. our integration into a multi-currency android wallets is currently underway as is a standalone GAYmoney wallet for Android and iOS smart phones. we have several businesses, both online and bricks-and-mortar that are ready to begin accepting GAYmoney when we have these parts in place, although some are already accepting paper wallets.

We are also incorporating as a Financial Services Business in Canada as the GAY Foundation, Inc. This is so that we can adhere to current Canadian laws regarding digital assets, as well as proactively seeking regulatory compliance against the future legal position of cryptocurrency projects. This Foundation will be responsible for administering the slow release of funds from the charitable wallet set up and untouched since the projects genesis several years ago, and will set Share Classes to coincide with the underlying cryptocurrency as simple ClassC non-voting shares. We will incorporate a threshold system of share balances that will adhere to KYC/AML practices and signed wallet verification towards a ClassB voting share and dividends from profit secured by exchange fees. A larger threshold will be set out as a ClassA Board of Directors level of shareholding, which will permit voting on higher level corporate decisions and a place on the board to help set out future company direction. This corporation will also be investing in LGBT business and services to help promote market integration.

We have held off on our new [ANN] until we have concretized much of these developments and expect it to be published within a few weeks. But presently, I have need of fiat to purchase a home for my family. There will be more volume on the exchanges, although we have been pushing closer to 1BTC daily volume recently.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to write me here or thru PM.

8  Economy / Long-term offers / NEED A CRYPTO-SECURED MORTGAGE. 40BTC. on: June 03, 2017, 12:07:01 PM
Im looking for a bitcoin funded mortgage. Im asset-rich and fiat-poor, but have the opportunity to purchase a grand victorian home for about half of what it would cost to build. i am a long-time user of bitcointalk, and have ongoing development involvement with two separate active currencies over the last two years.

Essentially, I need to borrow between 40 and 45 BTC, with repayment scheduled over 5 years with a minimum 25% return. I have collateral in the form of a PoS altcoin GAYmoney (which features a 20% APR), and will be wiling to put 200-250% of the loan value in escrow, secured by multi-sig. i will present the lender with the option to take bi-weekly or monthly payments either in the minted currency from the escrowed wallet or to have those funds converted to BTC and used as direct payment against the principle.

eg:
GAYmoney average value over last 30 days: (USD $0.50)
current value via coinmarketcap: (USD $$0.620959)
escrowed wallet size: 250,000 units (assumable value @ $0.50: USD $152,500)
daily minting: ~125 units (assumable value @ $0.50: USD $62.50)
therefore, bi-weekly lender would receive either 1750 units of the escrowed altcoin, OR those would be sold on market for BTC, which is paid directly against the debt (average of $875 worth). monthly, this would equal 3750 units of the currency or sold for BTC to be paid directly against the debt ($1875 worth).

link: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/gaycoin/#BTC
present project website: gaycoin.online

based on current prices, the principle would be paid down after approx 42 months (3.5 years) which would produce 18 months of pure interest delivered to the lender. as per standard mortgage practices, this interest would be applied foremost to the repayment plan, 95% interest to 5% principle until the assumable interest (approx 14 BTC) is covered. i would also offer a three month early payment penalty (2.33 BTC) should my other reserves of this altcoin generate enough money to effectively shorten the loan period, which is likely.

if the lender wishes, they can simply take the whole minited balance on a regular schedule, which will conclude the loan after 5 years. we can negotiate this timeframe as well, either a larger escrowed amount over a shorter time if necessary. (will escrow up to 300% the value of the loan over 5 years if lender wishes to take this route)

id be willing to take several smaller lenders coming together to fund this, which will produce proportional payments on the agreed-upon schedule, although all lenders would need to agree on one form of payment (in BTC or altcoin) at the outset of the loan.

at the conclusion of the loan, the escrowed balance of currency will be returned to my sole control. there is risk in this sort of loan, what if bitcoin tanks? what if my altcoin fulfills its plan for the coming months and reaches USD $1 parity or more? there is possibility of great reward, but i will do my best to mitigate any likelihood of loss, and should the altcoin escrowed fall in value below a certain threshold, i will top up the escrowed amount to compensate. this option may be visited once every 6 months, and can be strictly delineated in the loan agreement..

conversely, i would be willing to sell this altcoin outright, at between 66-75% its current market value, depending on the offer. (ie: 40 BTC for ~300,000 units of currency based on an aggregate USD $0.33 unit cost, we can negotiate this)

for the sake of transparency, i am involved with the current development of GAYmoney, so these funds are simply a portion of my developer's reserve. this currency has been somewhat under-the-radar since it was launched in 2014. the original developer is still very much involved with the project, he simply faced the sorts of prejudice and homophobia on his original announcements that caused him to lock the threads. i will be administering the new [ANN] as we get closer to the relaunch, i simply want to have the services we are working on to be ready for a rebranding of the project beforehand.

together we are working on this rebranding, which will be live for September 2017. we have secured the rights to the gay.money and gay.foundation domains and will be running two websites, as this project truly has two arms - the cryptocurrency arm to assess unit value and real world integrations and a philanthropic arm which will use direct community involvement for LGBT+ advocacy and social awareness campaigns as well as HIV/AIDS research and funding towards womens shelters. this is what Mr. Lawin hopes to be a legacy, and reflects his experiences growing up behind the iron curtain of eastern europe during a period his sexual identity was considered a criminal offense. there will be a lot of movement in the next few months as Mr. Lawin, the lead developer, want to provide a legacy of charitable work for these communities for years to come. we have already begun reaching out to other LGBT philanthropic organizations to help with this project, but those remain very preliminary, and will be more concrete as the rebranding approaches.

we are working on securing the licensing for a GAYmoney centric exchange with fiat gateways and pairings to major cryptocurrencies. we will also be launching better.exchange which will host cryptocurrencies that have a social conscience. we are also in the process of registering GAYmoney LLC as a corporate entity and will providing a complete dedication to transparency in all aspects of the project. we are also in the process of attracting businesses within the LGBT community to accept GAYmoney as tender, presently focusing on the LGBT-owned or friendly b&b markets. i am becoming very active with the local LGBT communites in my region, because i have to have that sort of connection with the community to understand its needs.

i will be receiving a wage for my work on GAYmoney, on top of my developer's reserve and the hope is to turn the enterprise into a well-regulated industry serving the digital financial needs of a community that serves an approximate 7% of the global population, and is as diverse as any other market, with one common indentifying birthright which is a hugely unifying factor. i will aso be maintaining my work on my other project, which is completely unassociated with GAYmoney: SOILcoin.. which is an ETH clone launched in 2015 with a direction towards renewable energy applications as well as distributed scientific computing for climate prediction, precision farming dApps and overall environmental awareness. so, in a way yuir investing in ME as well with this sort of loan, but ive been working hard in the sphere of cryptocurrency for awhile and have very strong views about the necessary high standards developers and exchanges must operate under, and im in the game for the long haul. this is simply a screaming good deal on the home of my dreams, something to secure my family's future while i work on something which promises to create a whole lot of good in the world.

i apologize for the length of this post, but if you research my writing here on bitcointalk, this is generally the sort of writer that i am. i wanted to avoid brinigin GAYmoney up into the wholesale public conversatin, simply due to the reaction it gets from some people who have bias towards that community, so please, keep the conversation civil responding to this post, ok? i think that this sort of arrangement might be the start of an entire industry.. crypto-secured mortgages with the security of the blockchain. we're all about disrupting everything so lets disrupt the mortgage industry!

please send me a PM for more details or to begin negotiations. thank you for your time. im more than willing to put title to the house as part of the surety once the loan is secured, and am willing to discuss any sort of other requirements a lender, or group of lenders would require.

(TL/DR version: POSW Holdings LLC,, the owners of poswallet.com, thru intent or accident, have defrauded the developer of GAYcoin to the tune of nearly ONE MILLION DOLLARS USD.)

Id like to preface this by stating that I was an early adopter and booster of poswallet.com. With the push towards the more environmentally conscious Proof-of-Stake type currencies available, it was a great place to be able to start looking into a number of different alt-currencies I wouldve otherwise ignored, being able to stake them in a pooled setting. I began staking a little bit in a whole lot of different coins, POS wasnt a very comfortable concept to me, my experience being working with the EVM as one of the developers of SOILcoin. I used poswallet.com for months, not a single problem. I became an unpaid promoter, talking up the project online, to my friends, etc.

Fast forward to April 23rd of this year, and the events that have now led to the reason behind this open message to the cryptocurrency community. Without warning to the poswallet community, during a spate of announcements related to currency delistings scheduled for a few weeks down the road, one currency was simply completely and suddenly delisted from the exchange and the online staking wallet, without explanation. This was the currency GAYmoney.

Owing to the fact I had about 500 GAYcoins in my possession on poswallet.com, I wrote to the poswallet_admin on the slack channel to ask what had happened. I was informed that they had decided to delist the currency, and that they had credited user accounts with POSWcoin as a form of compensation. 500 GAY coins may not have been much, but Im not a rich investor, im on a small disability pension and cryptocurrency, even thru my own project's development, its never been something that was going to make me rich, but there is a principle involved in the matter which Ive been very vocal about in the past. I mentioned that there wasn't any record of POSW being credited to my account, and was informed it had been done "internally", so there was no transaction record per se.

Cryptocurrency exchanges NEED to be held to a higher standard, we the public have to put trust in them in order to hold our funds. When we place our digital assets on an online exchange, or pooled staking service like poswallet.com, you are placing trust in a group of people, in this case - a directorship that has publicly chosen to remain anonymous  - to hold your funds and not to misplace them, or do whatever they want with them.

I communicated this to the developer and admin of poswallet on their slack channel, and he agreed, finding a way to make sure that in the future, with currency delistings that could not be withdrawn in a typical fashion by whatever reason, that compensation would be verifiable and with transparent transactions. They agreed that open and honest communication between the exchange administrators and both supported currency developers and the community of users that use the service was a fundemental aspect going forward. poswallet_admin even commented that the exchange could use someone like me on board, working for them, and that they were going to be looking at their staffing needs going forward very soon.

All seemed fine, I even began reaching out to the developers and communities of the currencies that were on the delisting chopping block, to see if there was any way to save those currencies. For some, it seemed, poswallet had become a last refuge other than yobit, which has become notorious for its poor customer service. For others, they were abandoned by the developer, and didnt have a sustainable community - theyll be listed only in the necronomnicon threads going forward unfortunately, but still - i believe in supporting a healthy cryptocurrency ecosystem, and every project CAN have its merits.

I also got in touch with the developer of GAYmoney, GeorgeL. I just wanted to understand what the problem had been and to offer a bit of compassion, as a developer who has found the road to getting listed on reputable exchanges to be an arduous one, and having been delisted (due to volume) from the only exchange we were on... I understood the frustration from a personal level. I wound up having a great conversation with him. We talked about his plans giong forward for his project, how he wanted to rebrand it and start making good on the locked reserves he set aside during luanch years ago - to provide a philanthropic legacy for LGBT and HIV/AIDS advocacy and research as those funds became available. He had very ambitious plans going forward and a deep passion for his project. After talking with him over a few days I agreed to come on board to help build a community base for the project on the cryptocurrency side of the equation, and was also presented with a problem....

George had requested the funds he had deposited into poswallet.com in GAYmoney be returned to him, and the admin at PoSWallet returned a pair of private keys to him, one of which was connected to his account, the other one to was an empty, unused account. The private key to the GAY wallet he owned on poswallet, to which he requested the funds from, contains 2,483,738 GAY, a large part of his personal holdings, was not included. George sent me the private keys they had sent so that i could verify, and his problem was very accurate.

As he explained the situation, he had begun to withraw his large stake on the website, and very suddenly, the exchange simply deleted its listings for GAYmoney on its dashboard and on its exchange (although they left the market running for days afterward, via the link at coinmarketcap). He was accused of "forking the wallet" by the admin, and then was offered 30,000 POSWcoins in compensation for the currency that was now unaccessible. George sent me screen captures of his few deposits onto poswallet.com, as well as his withdrawals (and tx hashes) and current balances. There was record of his own deposits, but no record of the POSWcoin deposit. There was NO RECORD of him withdrawing the bulk of his wallet, although there were two confirmed withdrawals of a smaller amount of GAY. There was no current balance of POSWcoins in his current balance to support his having received any POSWcoins in compensation for the 2.4 mln GAY account.

He gave me permission to speak with poswallet.com's support and administration staff on his behalf regarding this, and while i have provided both entities with the transaction record of the initial deposits made by Gaymoney's dev onto poswallet.com AND the private keys they had sent to George as well as links to the wallets they own AND provided them George's email to contact him with the correct private key or to do the proper thing, rebuild their GAY wallet with the backup data that any responsible exchange would keep, and simply send a verifiable transactin from the wallet they have control of to a wallet address that we have provided.

A week of consistent contact on my part has been completely ignored by the admin of poswallet, and the support staff member on the slack channel assured me days ago that this problem would be taken care of right away but then maintained no further communication. When I finally mentioned a likely complaint to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, a subsiduary of the US Treasury Department, I got a response from the administrator on the slack channel. I was informed that they didn't own the GAY wallet the coins were in, that they were "somehow sent to an external wallet - either via a technical bug or via hacking". When I pointed out that it was his exchanges responsibility to maintain security, and if there had been a hack, they were duty bound to have reported it to the userbase rather than trying to cover it up. I insisted that GeorgeL be returned his funds, and was finally told "I think PoSWallet.com will have to shut down because of this.  We only have 1.2 BTC in funding (this project was a labor of love) - we can not afford to fight something that we have already settled."

I need a moment to put this problem into a monetary perspective, regardless of anyone's political beliefs regarding the currency itself. Currently the 7-day average price for GAYcoin has maintained a valuation between 16.000 and 22.000 satoshi... between USD$0.35-$0.45. The assumable value of the currency, based on the last transaction in BTC on the markets is 17.128 satoshi (approximately USD$0.39 based on a $2260 USD bitcoin at the time of writing) Presented as a value in bitcoin, the wallet being held by poswallet.com is worth 425.4 BTC. In US dollar value, this represents an assumable value, using the same unit price above for BTC, of USD $961,404. JUST UNDER A MILLION DOLLARS U.S.

George has been very upset about this, he has proof of deposit thru the blockchain, he has the public address to the wallet poswallet stored his funds on, supposedly securely, and has provided everything they would need to ensure that his assets, deposited in good faith, would be returned to him after the exchange arbitrarily and without notice, removed the currency from the exchange and dashboard, preventing him from retrieving the assets as would be his right, as would be ANYONES rights we should assume, in dealing with a supposedly reputable cryptocurrency exchange. Again, the spectres of Mt.Gox and Cryptsy rear their heads, and should we be surprised, dealing with an administration staff that chooses to remain anonymous. This is a stark reminder that the only coins you OWN are the ones you maintain the private keys to the wallet for. You can exercise evidenciary channels to prove ownership, but when dealing with a dishonest entity who maintains those keys, you have NO CONTROL over your own funds.

I have communicated the urgency and the value of this problem to both poswallet's admin and support staff on the slack channel and can provide saved copies of what has been sent to them, as well as the links thru the GAYmoney block explorer to the deposits made, and LEFT in stasis, I can provide screenshots of the GAYcoin developers poswallet.com account showing his deposits, his withdrawls and his balance, all of which can be independently verified thru the blockchain. PoSWallet has yet to provide any documentation to support their claims.

I have remained professional and looked for ANY SORT of constructive communication with the staff at poswallet in finding out, firstly: what went wrong, and secondly: how to fix it. This is a million dollar mistake on their part, and one might assume, something they would devote some time to soving and some constructive communication both to myself as the authorized representative for GAYmoney's developer or to GeorgeL, who held the account on poswallet.com in the first place.

They have failed to answer any question, they have failed to provide any documentation, they have failed to send any logfile requested showing the investigation they supposedly did to find out how George's funds were transferred to "an outside wallet" withough any transaction record (something that could only be done through an internal transaction, which admin already showed a capability of in supposedly sending POSWcoin compensation to currency holders in compensation without any transaction record), they have failed to send the private key to George's GAYmoney wallet that was removed from his ability to access by poswallets injudicious delisting and deletion of GAYmoney from their services without any prior notice. This is THEFT.

poswallet.com is registered as PoSWallet Holdings LLC in Youngsville, NC; and thus subject to the financial regulations enforced within the United States, and complaints regarding this situation will be filed with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). A lawsuit against PoSWallet Holdings LLC and its directors (Colin Blakely, Nathan Faust, Michail Douranos, and Petros Anagnostou) may be launched.

poswallet's terms and conditions state "PoSWallet makes no representation and does not warrant the safety of the Platform and is not liable for any lost value or stolen property, whether or not PoSWallet was negligent in providing the proper security." Yet, when poswallet ITSELF is behind the problem by deslisting the currency without warning, trapping every users funds originally placed into their care - when they misrepresent the private keys sent to the owners of those wallets - this isnt an issue of negligence in security, it begins to look like a case of actionable and possible criminal neglect on the part of the staff employed by poswallet, if not outright criminal enterprise. This contumacious action should be a simple fix. The adress in question: http://104.236.2.124:3001/address/gNWMUpHjwEvDEGZ2z56FdotCc4HgPQNfo6 must have its funds released by PoSWallet Holdings LLC back to the rightful owner, George Lawin. If these funds have been made unavailable because poswallet's staff irresponisbly did not maintain proper backups, they are responsible to rectify the situation by fully reimbursing the owner in another currency that is agreeable to that developer. (In this case - 425 BTC)

In fairness to the other side of the story, a short history of GAYmoney is helpful. It is a long extant cryptocurrency project, launched in 2014 by "GeorgeL", the developer. He set aside in the genesis block, and then locked up, a premine of 5 billion GAY coins that would be released in the future to LGBT and HIV/AIDS awareness, advocacy and ativism groups and individuals, with the plan of sustained philanthropic funding that will last decades. He has referred to this as his "legacy" and wants to help address social issues related to his currency's target market. This is less a simple  cloned altcoin and more of a social endowment coupled with a specialized digital currency targeting one of the most diverse markets on the planet. That reserve account remains locked and untouched in the GAY.foundation wallet (which is non-participatory in the staking consensus). link:http://104.236.2.124:3001/address/gLsrjEbo31wmXZQssAeGyrw4CwBZgxafev

While the project has remained under-the-radar for a long time - George faced initial resistance and bigotry when he made his original [ANN], a new one will be set out soon - there is a great deal of development underway for a sort of re-launch with new website, wallets, storefront partnerships, and a large scale philanthropic movement via the assosciated GAY.foundation to be ready by 3rd quarter of this year. A GAYmoney dedicated gateway for fiat and major cryptocurrency exchange markets is being investigated, which will eventually maintain an altcoin exchange dedicated to a strong sense of community with both developers and users and a focus on showcasing cryptocurrencies with socially consicious agendas. We will focus on building connections between the cryptocurrency community and the LGBT and HIV/AIDS aweness communities worldwide.

GAYmoney remains a tradable asset on Cryptopia, against BTC, LTC, DOGE and UNO and George is interested in pursuing further exchange integrations, although he wants to set the bar high for the reputation of the exchange, and has expressed great interest in co-operation on decentralized "atomic-trading" exchanges. We are presently taking the first steps in setting up an active community network on both sides of the digital divide to help make GAYmoney a stable and long-term humanitarian cryptocurrency with well established usage in the real world. If anyone wants to get involved with GAYmoney, and in helping build a decentralized, globally social-conscious network, please dont hesitate to contact me here on bitcointalk or via email at abvhiael@live.ca. The lead dev, George, can be reached at info@gaycoin.online as well.

Im hoping that in making this issue public that poswallet will be pressured into releasing George's funds to him in a timely and responsible manner, as any exchange would do given the unique circumstances of this situation, one that they themselves set into motion with their own actions. Please share it widely, and if you agree, please write to poswallet_admin and poswallet_support on the poswallet.slack.org channel, as well as on their website.

I dont know the full reasons behind the delisting of GAYmoney by poswallet, despite asking the admin why and not getting a response, and I wont put any political motivation behind those decisions without evidence. I wont engage in FUD because this situation could simply be a glitch on their part that they are trying to solve, but hoping to preserve pulic trust by remaining somewhat elusive while they put things back together. I can hope thats whats happening.

Beyond writing this, and informing the cryptocurrency community as a whole about the distressing lack of real support and also regarding the possible criminal behaviour by the administrators of poswallet.com and executives at PoSWallet Holdings LLC, I hope this impels the public to remove their funds held  on or trading on a service that shows a consistent trait of financial irresponsibility and a failure to live up to its promises until such time as the executives come clean regarding the missing funds in GAYmoney that they have thus far refused to release to its RIGHTFUL LEGAL OWNER.

I will be forwarding a complaint to FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network), an agency of the US Department of the Treasury, to whom poswallet.com has applied for certification to operate as a MSB (Money Services Business). In this PoSWallet Holdings must, as both a virtual currency exchange and the administrators thereof are considered money transmitters, and must comply with rules to prevent money laundering/terrorist financing and other forms of financial crime, by verifiable record-keeping, accurate reporting and mandatory registerion. A Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) or Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) will be made, as the transactions by PoSWallet Holdings, and its exchange are very unusual for this particular sort of business, and appear to be done only for the purpose of hiding or obfuscating transactions or in-house negligence. By rights, the support staff should have ALREADY submitted an SAR as the transaction in question is aggregated to above $25.000, which is applicable to values of stocks, mutual funds, etc... and inclusive by definition with digital or virtual currencies.

PoSWallet has failed to provide any documentation regarding the deposits they supposedly made, or the log files for debugging the issue that would have been done. These funds were entrusted to them, and as operators of an exchange, they have failed in their fiduciary duties to safeguard them, and have acting grossly negligent and with criminal irresponsibility. A "constructive fraud claim", as defined by statutes in North Carolina is being investigated, as a cause of action exists, PoSWallet Holdings LLC and GeorgeL were in:
 (1) a relationship of trust and confidence,
 (2) that the defendant took advantage of that position of trust in order to benefit himself, and
 (3) that plaintiff was, as a result, injured.

Owing to it's registration as an LLC (Limited Liability Company) in North Carolina, PoSWallet Holdings is governed by the "North Carolina Limited Liability Company Act", as well as the Articles of Organization governing all LLCs in North Carolina. Colin Blakely, the registerer of POSW Holdings LLC (http://www.sosnc.gov/Search/filings/12639858) as manager and controlling shareholder, legally owes a fiduciary duty to minority shareholders. This fiduciary duty by a majority shareholder manager of an LLC is defined in North Carolina as the contract "to exercise reasonable care, skill, and diligence in the transaction of business entrusted to him, and he will be responsible to his principal for any loss resulting from his negligence in failing to do so."

Its time for exchanges to be held accountable, for the registered agents to be held responsible for their actions and neglect when acting as financial agents, and should not be allowed the comfort of anonymity. Ive also experienced smaller disappearances on poswallet.com, not for any amount approaching the theft of the GAYcoin wallet in question, but in the eyes of an exchange operator each single investment whould be equal as each represents the actual funds of a user placing trust in them. Im sure theres a thousand more tales of mismanagement at poswallet, from what ive seen on the troll box in the last few days, things are unravelling there in a hurry. Me, im taking every coin i can off that exchange before it closes its doors. And then, Ill be investigating the mechanisms required to begin actions, criminal and civil, against Colin Blakely and any other named manager of POSW Holdings LLC, on behalf of George Lawin, the lead developer of GAYmoney.

Sorry for the lengthy post, folks, but in cases like this, the facts must be presented in total to defer the oncoming FUD and insanity. Ive spent weeks trying to solve this issue with poswallet.com's staff, only to be gven excuses that might mollify someone new to cryptocurrency, but sound a whole lot like the first steps of an exit strategy to someone seasoned.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] AMYgws (AMY) *SCRYPT* POW *CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR LATIN AMERICA* on: April 20, 2017, 02:47:37 PM

AMYgws has been created as a response to the deepening financial crisis in Brazil, Latin America's largest economy. Although the Central Bank has reduced the benchmark SELIC rates, and although monthly inflation rates have only recently levelled out after nearly a decade of steady increase... nearly 13,000,000 Brazilians are out of work (12.6% unemployment rates recorded in January2017). Scandals have plagued the government, and trust in the Brazilian Real is lower than ever. Gross domestic product is estimated to have fallen more than 7 percent in two years, causing unemployment to nearly triple, while the government budget deficit had reached 5.8 billion reais (US$1.7 billion) as of last year.

There are signs of a weakening of the recession, but an economic turnaround is unlikely in the forseeable future by any finacial forecasts. Meanwhile, trade volume in cryptocurrencies has risen by over 45% in Brazil compared to the same period only a year ago, and in August 2016, Mercado Bitcoin; Brazil's largest BTC exchange; processed over 28.5% of all BTC market trades. Merchants are becoming more and more aware and accepting of cryptocurrency transactions. Aracaju (pop: 850,000), the capital of the State of Sergipe, has the highest number of BTC-accepting merchants in the country, second only behind Beunos Aires in the entire western hemisphere.

Many banking and financial systems have now begun to actively invest in the underlying blockchain technology behind cryptocurrency, even though it is estimated that up to 40% of urban dwellers remain "underbanked" and have little to no access to traditional banking systems. Estimates for the entire continent put the figure closer to 70% (400 million people). The "unbanked" typically pay their bills in cash which has less purchasing power every week, and are obliged to carry around their earnings – often in high-crime neighborhoods – paying usurious interest rates to borrow from local (unregulated) money lenders. Even those who manage to set up an account and purchase on credit, from local retailers as an example, face elevated interest rates.

While many businesses have seen the advantage of e-payments in Latin America,  with several projects having success partnering with Visa, Mastercard and the like to set up prepaid cards for citizens to use with thier mobile phone to pay bills, transfer money to family and friends or deposit and withdraw at ATMs.

They pay a fee for each transaction, which is comparable to the high fees incurred in the rest of the western hemisphere for services provided by these profit-driven multinational corporations. Bitcoin acceptance is surging, as mentioned above, but barriers remain from reaching the whole of the "unbanked" in Latin America, the high cost of Bitcoin and the enormous outlay involved to set up even a small mining rig or costs of hosted cloud mining, or dust amounts of earning thru pool-mining.

Enter AMYgws. AMYgws (AMY) stands for AMY:global wealth system, and was launched by Brazilian developer MRSC, a Sao Paolo resident, who has been working with BTC and cryptocurrency since 2014. He built AMY with the hopes of providing a secondary e-currency to provide not only local purchasing convenience, but to allow an easy entry to cryptocurrency mining for Brazilians who are rapidly adopting cryptocurrency.

Further developments towards merchant adoption will be the availability of reloadable plastic Custom QR-Code AMYgws Payment Cards, I2P and TOR compatibility, android and iOS wallets, etc. The goal is to make (AMY) as accessible and available as possible. The aim of this project is to create an available payment system that allows entry level adopters to successfully partake in the emerging cryptocurrency ecosphere in a fast and secure fashion, with the hopes of spurring new devlopers to create decentralized wealth solutions for Latin America

Scrypt (pronounced ess-crypt) was chosen as it is generally considered more ASIC-resistant than Bitcoin's SHA-256 algorithm, and is easier to run mining operations using only CPU-mining or on-board GPU-mining with some economic advantage. The goal of Scrypt is to be more memory intensive than the purely computational SHA256, to make it impractical to run scrypt mining via the available ASIC mining rigs on the market. Updates to the AMYgws protocols will be an ongoing process, but this is the project developer's first cryptocurrency, and as the market he hopes to serve continues to emerge he too hopes to become a leading force in equalizing the financial system in Latin America.

*My (abvhiael) involvement with this project has simply to assist MRST in presenting his ideas to the english-speaking public and as a senior member here at bitcointalk, to be able to host the [ANN] with images, so as such I will administer this english language forum for AMYgws, but for pure transparency's sake, I have only received payment (in AMY) for writing and posting this [ANN], and have no active input to the direction of the project, although I do feel that the mision statement for this currency addresses a very current need in Latin America, and may present itself, with the developer's time and attention, as an alternative to the more centralized cryptocurrencies as a payment method within Latin America, and possibly can live up to its ideal as a "global wealth system".
12  Economy / Scam Accusations / Freebiebitcoin.com scam. on: March 12, 2017, 03:36:17 AM
Ive never understood why faucet operators allow ads to be placed by obvious scammers, unless the faucets themselves in those cases are owned by the scam site further up the chain in the first place. Anyhow, one of the banner ads on one of the reputable and long running BTC faucets advertised for freebiebitcoins.com and their offer to deposit $10 USD in users' coinbase accounts for performing daily tasks. I never expect these sorts of offers to be legit, so I wasnt surprised when I finished the first task (perform a linkback to their site from one's own personal website) and three days later received no ten bucks worth of BTC. I did contact their parent company, or at least the one advertised as holding the copyright to the freebitcoin site, openmerchantaccount.com, which seems to be a long serving app development company that has put out a few apps that i actually use on my cellphone, put out by their arm Infinite Loop Development Ltd. i havent received a response from them yet, but while i didnt expect to actually get paid USD $10 a day in BTC, therell be a lot of people that do, so i thought it prudent to bring up the issue here when i couldnt find any reports on the site regarding this particular poorly set up scam site.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ETH] ETHERsweeps - sports gambling on the EVM. on: March 06, 2016, 03:46:56 AM
Ive built a tokenized sportsline, with wagers presently available on the outcome of the UEFA Europa and UEFA Champions League tournaments. ETHERsweeps is built on top of an edited EtherEx platform, using custom-built tokens representing each team still involved in these tournaments.

Tokens are available at 0.1 ETH each, and with the built in minimum of 1 ETH on transactions on EtherEx, the minimum purchase will be 10 tokens. Tokens will be available to purchase until April 26th at noon UTC, just before the start of the semi-finals. At the conclusion of the tournaments, I will set a purchase order on the marketplace to "buy back" the tokens representing the winning team at the odds posted on the ETHERsweeps website. Tokens representing eliminated teams will, naturally, be valueless.

Please check out http://ethersweeps.altervista.org/index.html for more information.

To connect to the ETHERsweeps webserver, run geth/eth with the following command line:

Code:
geth --rpc --rpccorsdomain http://104.156.251.192:8089 --unlock 0 console

and then connect to http://104.156.251.192:8089 to open the ETHERsweeps web server.
