1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Careful fake Bitcoins about on: August 04, 2018, 06:30:32 AM
In recent times "fake" Bitcoins have appeared.

The very essence ot Satoshis Bitcoin whitepaper
"A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution."

Real lawful bitcoins address has and always will start with 1
If it starts with anything else than 1 you dont hold a legal bitcoin but possible some altcoin with the price pegged one to one to a real bitcoin.
If it walk like a duck, swims like a duck, quarks like a duck, its a duck.
LN  for example is one such case. It has its own address structure, its own nodes, its own infrastucture, its a altcoin.   Lightning Network is literally a 3rd party custodian based banking system and has nothing to do with the satoshi whitepaper of bitcoin

The world if full with fraud and deception be careful not to become a victim. Hold legal bitcoins easy identifiable with the beginning of 1.

With a Blood Sacrificing cult i have nothing in common, can not identify with or want any dealings, thats why i quit crypto. Its a bit like a divorce i guess but there is better things to be found than money and lambos.

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Real life event why Bitcoin/Litecoin is needed urgently on: May 11, 2018, 10:36:43 AM
Short version international payment made on April 6, 2018 and today May 11, still not received, at least that is the claim. Numerous phone calls to my bank just the basic reply that a text has been forwarded to the receiving bank.  Also numerous confirmation that it did receive the payment, but my bank is in no position to know if it has been credited to the customer account. The Agricultural Bank of China did receive so they claim.

Its time for a new thread as the "Altcoin To Buy Now?" thread gets to polluted with tokens.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most profitable token to invest on: May 06, 2018, 02:54:25 PM
Its time for a new thread as the  "Most profitable altcoin to invest" thread just gets polluted with token responses.
To know the difference between a program and a web-page is a good start in investments.

A slightly different way observing the coin development from beginning of the year.
It is not just taking new years price and see how many percent up or down. This is adding daily percent up or down of closing price.
There seems to be a gap developing between top 5 performing (neo, eth, ltc, btc, xmr) and bottom 5 (bch, doge, dash, nem, xrp) For some reason doge deceited to change to the lower performing coins some weeks ago.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Ethereum still within legal boundries ? on: February 19, 2018, 09:51:23 AM

The ICO sales happen with about 90 million in total to be produced
60 million + 12 million + 18million = ~90 million

60 million - is the Pre-sale.
12 million - is the dev fund, 0.2coins per 1 coin sold in the crowd-sale.
~18 million - 1 million coins mined per month for 18 months prior to going from POW to POS.

Now is already over 97,708,720 ETH.
Day by day the purchased "limited" presale coin gets more and more diluted.
Jul-30-2015, is 934 days ago a long way over the 18 months.

If I buy a limited edition of something and then later is changed to unlimited it has consequences.

Whats up with the pyramid logo?

https://i.imgur.com/LqvWFHD.png

As it is not a cryptocurrency coin (by own admission) why is it listed on Coinmarketcap?
Will Coinmarketcap soon list ever software company?
Why does it not have the Premined stars (**) on Coinmarketcap?
Why does Stephan Tual (aka Stoat) Admin, CCO of centralized Ethereum GMBH troll Bitcointalk?
Why lasted the 2000 ETH ICO for 14 days (2x7)?
Why did the presale last for 42 days (6x7) to 2nd of Sep. not 40 days (end of Aug. or 50 days, or a month......)?
Why did it linear decline for 28 days (4x7) from 2000 to 1337 ETH?
What is the significance of 1337 ETH (last ico price) other than 1+3+3+7= 14?
Why no giu wallet so only about 10% of available coins can be traded?
Why is there unlimited ETH supply?

..........
Fact is ETH can't do anything else other coins (like NxT, Qora....) already can do for a long time.
