I am looking to sell 10 9 Hashfast sierra units. They are coming directly from out of hosting from the Datacenter and have not arrived yet but I would to ship them out as soon as possible.

Each unit does 1200 Ghash(1.2 Terahash). Each unit has 2 1000watt seasonic PSU inside and has 3 water cooling kits for the 3 hashfast boards.

From reading on the hashfast sierra owners thread users have been able to get the boards to hash faster at 600gh a board vs regularly 400gh a board which would make it 1800GH. I am not saying it can mine this fast, just that someone else has done it.

I am looking to sell a X-3 prospero that I haven't used for a few months. I bought the unit a few months back and prior to arrival I became aware of a issue with alot of the X-3 that resulted in them smoking, buring, and/or short circuiting. I am looking to sell it as I have no desired to plug it in and see if will smoke. The previous owner told me he had it running perfectly fine so this unit may not have any issues, but I want the next owner to be aware of possible issues.

Pre-Arrival

I would like to start by thanking Spondooliestech for giving me a unit to review as well as being so understanding for the delay in posting this review.

Day of Arrival

My SP20 arrived relatively quickly and was quite surprised by how nice it was packaged up compared to some BFL stuff I had received previously. I had 2 PSU already ready from previously using them on some Antminer S3's. 2 750Watt PSU so I figured powering the SP20 would be no problem. Sadly one of my PSU started acting up and turning its self off so I had to order a new/replacement for it.

Looking at the unit, it basically reminds me of a long antminer S3 or long BFL 60gh or 30gh unit, but with clearly more power.

Day of PSU replacement Arrival

After getting the replacement arriving yesterday I plugged it into The Sp20 and it worked flawlessly.

Below is the tempature as well as some more stats


I would say all in all the Unit is great and is running solid since putting the new PSU. The hardest part of the setup was getting the wireless repeater I had setup to work with my current network.

Summary

All in all the Sp20 is a solid unit with great down-clocking abilities

1. Is it possible to use p2pool without a full bitcoin node?

I wanted to hear peoples thoughts on Me, or someone else creating a new decentralized bitcoin foundation. The foundation would conduct votes in a public manner where each vote is done publicly on the blockchain and can be easily and quickly checked. Since the website it self can not be easily decentralize, my idea is once the site is created and domain bought, I or the creator would randomly generate a new password and then setup a shamir's secret that would require 51% of the board to agree to make any changes to the site or domain.

Please give me any feedback on the idea or any suggestions on how to improve it. Also if you have a good name for the new foundation that would be helpful as well. I was thinking maybe The bitcoin organization or the bitcoin union.
