1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Asking help about Asic miner and Nicehash. on: August 20, 2017, 12:16:22 PM
Good day to you all, few days ago, I met a bloke, who's selling hash power @ nicehash.com, and his rig consists of an Nvidia GTX 1070, and he's doing not too bad...
So of course it got me interested, and they also support Scrypt mining, I've got a 1 Ths Sino Sigma Asic miner, but it's a bit of "ancient", hence it doesn't seem to connect, when I use stratum+tcp://scrypt.eu.nicehash.com:3333
A bummer like, nicehash has got a support page:
https://new.nicehash.com/asic-mining
They're on about extranonce.subscribe support for example.
But I'm afraid that Sino Sigma is some kind of a run off the mill outfit, for that reason Googling doesn't really fill in the blanks..

This is a copy/paste of the miner's home page, so it's a bit basic, so to speak.

Anyway, if someone has this rig, and could point me out in the right direction, I'd be delighted! Grin
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best way for cashing in. on: October 29, 2015, 08:24:30 AM
I've been mining bitcoins for a while now, and I think it's time to pick some fruits of my labour.
But the site where I'm mining, doesn't do SEPA transfers to Dutch banks.
So what's the most convenient way to convert my bits in to cash? Of course with little as possible overhead.
3  Bitcoin / Mining / Is my rig doing the right thing? on: September 26, 2015, 09:21:06 AM
I've got a 1T rig with the difficulty set to 512, and after been mining for 6 days and 19 hrs, I've harvested the following:

BTC:0.05299887
NMC:0.12627938
IXC:0.00244188
DVC:646

Does this seem acceptable, or could it be improved, and if so, 3what are the options, I can only change the difficulty, and I'm mining @ cx.io.
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Is my Avalon trashed? on: September 18, 2015, 08:29:56 AM
I've got an Avalon2, and it was working for a few hours yesterday, but later in the evening I noticed, that the fan speeds became very unstable, it goes up and down with an interval of a few seconds.
The power consumption also fluctuates between 150 and 770 Watts.
So I decided to shut it down for the night.
Fired it up this morning, but the same shit is still going on.
Fan 3 shows no temp, I replaced that one with one from an older type of rig, and it was there when it was still working properly.

I know that it's not easy to perform remote diagnostics, but it could as well be, that someone else has encountered similar problems.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Edit: for some reason the pic isn't shown, it shows the link instead, but it's safe. Tongue
5  Economy / Service Discussion / Neeed some help. on: September 17, 2015, 01:30:53 PM
Hi there, I've got an Avalon with built in Cgminer, so far so good.
I also have an account at cex.io with a 9 digit ID.
Can't get hold of the previous owner of the rig, but with his Pool1 worker ID XYZ.1 and password 123456 it is mining.
Anyway, the big Q is, what Pool1 worker ID should I use to start mining, I know it sounds like a silly question, but I'm absolutely clueless.
