Hi all,

I bought a baikal miner to asicminermarket.com some weeks ago and I was a bit scammed (yes, avoid those guys and buy only to the original seller, that was my fault  ). The little toy works perfect when mining X11, but was not updated (probably due to a defective USB port) and I have been unable to update it to be able to work with the rest of algos. I contacted baikal guys and they tried to help me, but every attempt was unsuccessful. I have W10 Home installed and theoretically you should only have to connect the miner with the original cable (guys from baikal send me one for free, thanks a lot) but every time I connect it to my pc I found the unknown device error in the hardware admin section.

Has someone of you have found a different update way through the orange pi or similar to update the toy? Or have any of you had the same problem and has found a different solution? Probable cause is the USB port problem but I'm not 100% sure about it.

I have recieved this in my email this morning. It's funny, I haven't recieved any real support from asicminermarket (forget about the money devolution if not satisfied they say in their web), but seems they have more probably defective Baikal to sell. See that seems that the discount is the same you buy one, four or more baikal... I love the Dear at the beggining of the message. AH, you are totslly allowed to use my coupon if works, I will not buy anything more there never, but proceed at your own risk...
