1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin Core default fees not ok? on: August 14, 2018, 06:21:01 PM
Hi,

I used a new installed node v0.16.2 to create this transaction:
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/72a63e4e27f425eaa4f6ab0de34d18af518b277db1342caf1949e59a03e0cc2e

Now i noticed this a few times that i have to wait a few hours sometimes to get transactions confirmed.
So de dynamic fees from the core are not high enough?

Do i update the fee settings?

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How to recognise bitcoin addresses on: May 16, 2017, 08:26:44 PM
Yes i know you can't link a address to a person, but how do site's like blockchain.info know that they belong to exchanges or Satoshidice or whatever?
Is this just public information that they gathered?

Hi all,

At this moment i have the 14.1 client installed and i take backups of the chain to backup up the progress because it keeps crashing because it cant read something or because the db is corrupt.

6  Economy / Service Discussion / More going out the wallet that it has available? on: November 28, 2014, 07:37:32 PM
Hey guys,

I was scouting transactions when i found this:
https://blockchain.info/nl/address/1GzPKPcGHhEPu8tWuSWF1rxyJwmvczAjQE

according to blockchain, this address gives out more then it received.
You can see 1.2btc going in (first transaction) and at least 20btc going out (second transaction).

Can anyone explain this?

Any of you had problems with this latest firmware?

I was not able to connect with my Avalon after a few hours, totaly random times.

I tried do a clean firmware and did all settings manuall again, still having this problem.

Finally downgraded to the last firmware and its running stable again.

Any ideas?

So how can they know who is in and who is outside the US?
Also none US exchanges donet have to deal with all this right?
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / charging points on: January 13, 2013, 05:55:45 PM
Just an idea, these days they are trying to figure out infastructure on how to charge electric cars and stuff.
One problem is how do you pay for it, some companies have a subscription like a gas station but you can only use it locally.

So bitcoin would be a good solution, because you can use it anywhere.
14  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Tax on miner? on: July 23, 2012, 03:01:03 PM
So i buyed this miner from BFL from USA to Europe and of cource i have to pay tax (150 euro).
Now say that i wanna upgrade to those new things, i will have to send it back.
Do i have to pay tax again when those come?

Second question: If i refuse the delivery of the first one, it gets send back anyway no? that way i wont have to pay tax and shipping.
Or is that wrong?
