What's my best option with cash in hand after this recent swing? LocalBitcoins is still running pretty high exchange rates for smaller amounts ($50ish).

Ive recently decided to liquidate a little bit of my collection, so im putting 3 of my 10oz. Silver bars up for grabs!

Im trying to get these off my hands fairly quickly, so i am pricing them below spot and charging only .2BTC shipping per bar. How i am going to do this is round down the daily spot price to the nearest whole dollar.

Today's Price: 2.44BTC  per oz.
Spot - $27.98 (rounded to $27)
Mt.Gox Weighted Average - $11.03

Two of these bars are Sunshine Silver mint and the other Engelhard mint, if you would prefer one, please specify.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Rescind a Transaction? on: July 02, 2012, 07:22:17 AM
So i do understand the basic principle of seeing that a transaction has been confirmed in the blockchain, however there is definitely a stigma against unconfirmed transactions. My question is, is it even possible for someone to 'take back' an unconfirmed transaction? At the point that it has left your wallet, is it not technically in the recieving wallet until confirmed (just floating around waiting for a confirmation)?

An example is that a transaction to satoshidice can be sent and reward recieved without any confirmations, thats a mindfuck to me.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How has Bitcoin changed your life? on: June 29, 2012, 08:19:44 AM
On these forums ive seen some pretty great success stories and some stories of great failure. Ive seen obsession, depression, digression, and accession, and now i have a question. How dramatically and in what ways has your life changed since you have learned about Bitcoin? I for one have become obsessed over the last few months, incurring around 4-5 hours of forum time/day....

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [btc]1 or 1[btc]? on: June 24, 2012, 10:08:47 PM
So ive come to some confusion over the last week or so while seeing the BTC sign used both in front and behind a number.

I personally believe that it should be used at the $ sign would be and put it before the number such as BTC1.

however, ive also seen numerous times people believe it should be used after the number as this is: 1BTC.

Opinions? Thoughts? Discuss.
9  Economy / Services / Wanted - Offshore Web Host on: June 13, 2012, 05:08:23 AM
Would anyone happen to know of a cheap offshore web host thats not too picky about their customers and what they do?

Im really just looking for a minimal package, no serious traffic will be running through, but i wouldnt mind if it was unlimited for a little bit more.

Also, if anyone here can offer it to me for BTC i would love to support the community as much as possible.
