5  Economy / Goods / [WTB] Star Wars DVDs (and maybe some gift cards) on: June 13, 2014, 01:38:10 AM
Looking to spend a few coins on some goodies!

My main priority is to find Star Wars Episodes IV V VI on DVD. They can be used, but I want them in the original cases, with no major scratches on the disks themselves (AKA they have to play).

I could also be tempted with some gift cards to Shaws, Hannafords, Market Basket, Wal Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Applebee's, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Amazon, or Newegg. Any of those, really.

Prices are negotiable, and then based on the Coinbase current price.

If you've got anything of interest, please send me a PM (so I'll get the email). I will try to check in on the forum at least once a day, but work's been busy and I can't guarantee that.
6  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] All Antminer S1s on: April 05, 2014, 03:09:26 PM
We're looking for a boatload of S1s. We plan on running them at full blast for a while, and eventually undervolt/clocking. This increases their power efficiency, but reduced their expected earnings.

Send me a PM, or post in this thread. Let us know how many you've got, and what kind of prices we're talking about. Thanks!

8  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 32x Gigabyte 280x + risers on: March 18, 2014, 04:32:44 PM
All GPUs have been sold. Thanks everyone!

We have a number of Gigabyte R9 280x for sale. Model numbers are all GV-R929XOC-3GD REV2. All of them are between 3 and 9 weeks old. They've been kept in a cool, dust/pet/smoke free environment.

Cards have been run undervolted, and at low temps for the entire time we've had them. Temps are kept <70C at ALL times, are usually between 45-55C. They've been very stable, and hash between 735kh/s - 765kh/s with low rejects. The F70 Hynix ones may be capable of >800kh/s if you overclock the RAM, but we've always kept our RAM at the stock 1500 and been happy.

The cards with the F60 BIOS have been reflashed with a modified version by The Stilt from the LTC forums. If you want, we can reflash the stock BIOS back on, or we can leave the higher hashrate one, it doesn't matter to us.

Each GPU is currently being run on a PCIe USB-style powered riser, which are also available for sale. We have 30cm and 60cm varieties available. Cards come with all original paperwork/accessories. We can ship them in the original box, or a smaller generic box for a slight discount in shipping. They have not been registered with Gigabyte, and there are still 34 months left on the 3 year warranty.

Shipping will be UPS Ground to the lower 48 states. Payment options are in BTC or Doge. PM us with the number of cards you want, number or risers you want, and what kind of shipping you need, and we'll give you a price. I'm setting the sales up, but WireIT will be handling the final price agreements and sale processing, so if you have any questions and I can't get back to you in time, you can PM them.

These things hash great, undervolt easily, run very cool, and are quiet! They're pretty much the best GPU, IMO, second only to maybe the Toxic 280x, but these are cheaper!

9  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 5x PowerColor R9 290 on: March 15, 2014, 03:17:16 AM
Happy Pi day!

We have 5 PowerColor 290 that we're looking to sell. Model is AXR9 290 4GBD5-MDHG/OC. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131522 . They were purchased in Jan '14, and have been in use for ~9 weeks now. The cards have not been registered with PowerColor, and the warranty should still be in affect for another 21 months.

All 5 cards have the reference cooler, but currently have the PCI bracket removed for better airflow/cooling, as you can see in the pictures. The bracket will be reinstalled prior to shipping, unless you specify otherwise. Cards have been run in a clean, cool environment. Temps are kept as low as possible at all times, and at this current moment, temps are 67, 72, 64, 66, and 71C.

We're looking for 0.75BTC OBO for each GPU, including shipping. If you order more than one, we can combine shipping, and even give you a little discount. Escrow is acceptable, if needed, but we've done so many deals here on the forums I should hope that our reputation would speak for itself.

GPUs will be shipped in the original anti-static bags. We also have the original boxes and accessories. If you buy all of them, and you don't want the boxes, just the GPUs, we can probably give you an even bigger discount due to lower shipping costs. We're willing to work with you to make sure both parties are happy in the end!

In addition to the 5 GPUs, we also have 5 PCIe USB-style risers/MB/CPU/RAM/USB BAMT stick available. Asking 0.3BTC firm for the bundle, in addition to the GPUs. PM me for specs/details if you're interested.

Some pictures of the cards in action:

Here's the cards installed in our farm. They're in the top left rig.

Thanks for looking!
10  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 1.8TH/s BFL Monarch Preorders on: March 12, 2014, 06:54:11 PM
I have a pre-order for 3x BFL 600GH/s Monarchs, placed on 2014-01-02. I'm placing feelers out there if anyone is interested in buying them. We can do a BFL order transfer from one account to another, or I can ship them to you after I get them (you pay shipping).

BFL has always produced top quality products. I've been a customer since their FPGA days. The most recent update reports that their chips are currently meeting or exceeding power consumption estimates, with 0.45W/GHs at the chip level, which puts them right on track for a 350W power draw from each 600GH/s card. This makes them the most power efficient miner available. Unfortunately, and quite quite expectedly tbh, they've ran into delays, and I'm in need of the coins now. I have a few earlier orders that I'm not selling

I believe they said that they were on track for shipping in April, but my word on that is not law. At any point, you can request a refund for the purchase price, and they will refund you in USD. Yes, you can ask for a refund from an order that's been transferred to you, in spite of the fact that you didn't pay BFL for it. You still own that order, and the right to refund that order. Because of this, I won't accept any less than 90% of the purchase price in BTC at the current Coinbase amount, otherwise I'd just get the refund and cash myself. If no one buys them in the next 7 days, I'm going to issue a refund and get the cash myself.

So to summarize:
Great product
Extremely power efficient
Delays are too much
Need coins now

Let me know if you're interested!
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Any larger Gridseed Dualminers? on: March 07, 2014, 09:20:53 PM
I'm looking into those Gridseed Dualminers. Any know of any hardware that uses those chips, but in something that doesn't require two dozen USB ports, and a funk power supply? If there was a product like an Avalon or Antminer that was a larger board with a few dozen of those chips, I would be all over that.

Gridseed Dualminer = 5 chips for 330kh/s.

AntMiner S1 has 64 chips (32 chips per board). If a similar device used those scrypt chips, each board would only pull 385W, which is twice what the Ant S1 pulls per board, and wouldn't be possible without a giant heatsink and some serious airflow. I'm going to assume we'll use the scrypt only mode.

A board with 32 chips would make 10.5mh @ 50W. With that low heat, you could put 4-5 of those boards all in one small chassis.

I know we're not talking about anything cheap here, and might cost some serious coin, but anyone know of anything similar to what I'm talking about?
12  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Currently OOS - Gigabyte 280x NIB (up to 800KHs/each) + USB risers on: February 12, 2014, 08:36:49 PM
Hello! We are selling Gigabyte R9 280x Rev 2.0 GPUs. We got a large batch in on 2/14, with more shipments to come soon after.

What are you selling?
We are selling two items at this time:

- Gigabyte R9 280x Rev 2.0 cards NIB (Model# GV-R928XOC-3GD)
IMHO, simply the best scrypt-mining GPU out there. It hashes amazingly well, and can even undervolt like a champ. It's impressive how cool they run for being so quiet.

- 60cm USB-style powered PCIe risers
The best riser you can buy for your rig. We run these on all of our rigs. Stable, flexible, and simply the best. End of story.

What are your prices?
- Gigabyte R9 280x - $430 USD
This is ~15% discount compared to Amazon or Newegg, and still allows us to make a small profit.

- 60cm USB PCIe riser - $23 USD
This puts us at one of the cheapest riser prices out there right now, but the catch is you can only get 1 riser for every GPU you buy. Wink

Where are you shipping from? How much is shipping?
Shipping is from the Northeast USA. We only ship to the lower 48 USA.

The cost of shipping depends on how many GPUs you order, and where you are located. PM us for an estimate.

What payment methods do you accept?
We only accept BTC. Mt Gox is basically a non-factor in the BTC world, now, so we will go by the current Coinbase rate at the time of sale.

Do you accept escrow?
If escrow is required, we can accommodate that. If not, we will only ship once payment has been received. I personally have been involved in BTC for 2+ years now, and our business has been operating (outside of Bitcoin) for nearly 6 years. We do not intend to ruin our (or my) reputation over a few GPUs.

What condition will the GPUs be in?
We will not open, test, flash, or tune this new batch of GPUs. Boxes may or may not be shrink wrapped, but the cards will be untouched, and brand new in box.

If you would like one of the GPUs that we have opened previously, and have already tested, undervolted, and re-flashed, we can accommodate that. These GPUs will be barely 1 month old, run ~65C, undervolted (less VRM stress), clean, and in original boxes. We can give you an estimate on what to expect for a hashrate/powerdraw. Unless you explicitly say you want one of the tuned cards, you will get an un-touched, NIB one.

How many can I buy?
We only sell what we have in stock. We will not take your coins unless we have the GPUs/risers in-hand, ready to ship. Our supply is limited, and they will go on a first-come first-serve. However, if we don't have enough for your liking, not to worry! We are always getting more, and hope to have a constant supply of these coming in over the next few weeks.

We just got our 3rd batch in, with the first two batches supplying our private farm. From here on out, the majority of the future shipments will be available for sale.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to PM me. I can also give you our phone number if you would like to chat.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Problem with Sgminer + xintensity? Can't set memory clocks. on: February 04, 2014, 03:30:40 AM
I'm using Xubuntu 13.10, AMD 13.11b9 drivers, APP SDK 2.9, and ADL SDK 6, SGMiner 4.0.0. For hardware, I'm using Gigabyte 280x and PowerColor 290 cards.

I was able to build sgminer just fine. Compared to sgminer 3.7.2, I can close it without crashing X, and I get about the same hashrate.

I'm trying to use the xintensity option. Whenever I do, I get TERRIBLE hashrates. Like 10-15kh/s. SGMiner shows "I:8" on the side, which doesn't make any sense, and the mem clock is running at 150MHz. I can't manually change the mem clock; it's just stuck at 150MHz. I also can't change the I; it's just stuck at 8, which doesn't make any sense cuz I'm trying all sorts of values from 80 to 1100.

When I go back to using normal intensity rather than xintensity, everything works. I: reads as whatever I set it to, and the mem clocks change just fine.

Anyone know why this would be? Did it build wrong somehow? Thanks!
14  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] One 280x and one 290 on: January 28, 2014, 02:46:17 AM
I want to buy one 280x, and one 290. Please PM me anything you got, along with any price. Brand is important. Thanks!
15  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] PCIe USB Powered Risers on: January 22, 2014, 02:34:44 AM
I'm looking to buy 35 of those PCIe Powered Risers that use the USB 3.0 cable. I've gotten several in the past, and they work amazing, so I want to use them again. This time, I want something longer than the basic 30cm cable. PM me if you can get a hold of them, and what your price is. Shipping is to the NE USA.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / AMD Drivers: 13.12 vs 13.11b9 ? on: January 07, 2014, 02:51:24 AM
Which driver are people using? Which one has better performance? Setting up 3 new rigs tomorrow, and wondering which driver people are installing.

Also, are people using the APP SDK 2.9, or the included one? I took a quick look, and it didn't look like 13.12 installs a OCL runtime, so the SDK 2.9 would be required. Is this correct?

And most people have been using the ADL 5.0, but 6.0 is now out.

I've got a bunch of 280x and 290 cards, and while I looove downloading the latest and greatest software, that doesn't always work out to be the best option with AMD. Wink Any reports or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Crazy
17  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] All sold out. Sorry! on: December 28, 2013, 11:49:49 PM
Looking to make room for new hardware, so I'm looking to sell some of my existing hardware. All of them have the stock PSUs.

Up for Sale:
5 SC Singles - All between 57-61GH/s. One of them has a dead PSU, which is being RMA'd by BFL, so I might hold onto that one for now and sell as a complete package.
1 Little Single - Consistently 31.5GH/s.

A pair of MSI TF3 7950s in my gaming PC. Haven't played WoW or ToR in months, and only dabbled in LTC mining. I believe these did 650KH/s pretty easily. Easily undervolt-able in MSI AB, too.
18  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Growing your hashrate faster than the network on: October 27, 2013, 02:14:03 PM
The current difficulty is ~100x what it was a year ago.

My personal hashrate is ~100x what I had a year ago.

I'm earning about the same BTC as I was a year ago.

I bought more ASICs last week, so my hashrate will double by monday.

The difficulty could very well double by Thanksgiving.

I'll still be earning the same BTC next month as I was at this time last year.

Back 6 months ago, it was very easy to increase your hashrate at a rate larger than the network.

This meant you were earning more.

The difficulty is increasing so fast, it makes this impossible to do. I can't increase my hashrate by 40% every week.

When do you think the difficulty will level off, allowing people to actually grow their operations, rather than just playing catchup?
19  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] ASICs on: October 12, 2013, 08:38:53 PM
PM me with what you got, and how much for shipping. I'll take any units from any manufacturer. All that matters is speed and price. I have free electricity, so power efficiency means nothing to me.
