This just happened.

I was sitting at my computer and then I see a popup from my Electrum wallet that I have a pending transaction.

Then a minute later another popup from my second Electrum wallet.

Fuck. How could this happen? I'm on vacation right now and using a mobile sim tethered to my laptop. Is that it? Are these wallets that easy to hack?

Is there anything I can do? This is a significant amount of money for me.

I made a bitcoin deposit on Marathonbet on January 5th. I've gone back and forth with their support and they're telling me that the address I sent to doesn't belong to them.

Can somebody help me track this down? Where did my coins go and how can I recover them? This may have happened because the wallet I sent from is the new BENCH32 format and theirs is the older P2SH format.

We have received information from a provider, that there is no record that the address/wallet received (34ErEzbtisuLsR7siRQiGUYJQ2upMoKFNM) the transaction with the hash 85c6e916e189d151f3eb67142c3bf426c2a6480ed9823c2675ea0816ddf4257e.

Provider does monitor the change for addresses belonging to BitGo wallets that are in Bech32 format and therefore would have received the transaction should it have been sent to the correct address. It would appear that the conversion of the address that the you have used to send us the funds did not correctly convert our 34ErEzbtisuLsR7siRQiGUYJQ2upMoKFNM address into Bech32.
