This is what I have in my bat file:
"cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://mine1.mpool.me:4003 -u Weblogin.Delicieuxz -p password"
This gives me the message "No devices detected!" in cgminer.
What needs to be different? Thanks.

Hi, I have some 280x cards that I'm wanting to put into a new rig, and I'm looking for a current choice build for the hardware. I have no firm knowledge of how many cards will eventually be in the rig, but at least 5 would be nice, unless there starts to be conflict issues or something once too many cards are installed.
Also, is this an optimal script for these cards?

I've been mining on Coinotron for the last 3 days, and I just noticed that I haven't received a single payout, or PPC registered as earned in my Coinotron log in section, despite cgminer looking properly and saying that my shares are being accepted. This is what is in my bat file. color 02

The basic question which relates to the thread title is: Why? The answer, of course, is: Because the government can't tax what it doesn't know exists in whose anonymous stash stored who knows where. People do not want the government to control their trade value. If the government can't control people's currency, it can't take a part of it for themselves, which means it can't fund its efforts to continue to control people's currency, or anything else at all, for that matter. Governments will soon no longer have the ability to exist, because they simply won't be funded - and there's nothing they can do to stop that bit of social evolution. Does that mean we won't have social services anymore? Not at all. In fact, the services we have will likely be of higher quality, and be much more efficient and tailored to a "country"'s specific cities and smaller regions. Social projects will be funded through Kickstarter-type operations, with contractors, corporations and individuals listing the projects they think up, and where everybody will have direct say in where they place their anonymous currencies - not where their government places it for them. This means that services will start to be a lot more like what the people want to see, and funds will transfer relatively directly to projects rather than funneling through inefficient and incompetent bureaucracies. There will definitely be smaller defense forces all across the globe (albeit with dictatorships, like North Korea, retaining their military might the longest - as they'd be slowest to adopt, and likely block out access to these currencies through force), but probably larger scientific funding across the globe. People will inevitably have more funds at their disposal, as huge amounts of currency are wasted in governmental bureaucratic fashion - not to mention plain old idiocy. There is also another thing to consider - how will the anonymous currency market shift, in light of these facts-to-be? Current market-cap growth volumes don't allow enough BTC to go around for full global adoption, and with BTC breaking mainstream news, there will be a lot more demand for it. Either output will have to increase, or there will become several established side-by-side currencies, providing enough supply for all to use. |

 Hey, alt currencies need loving too! This will be fun to try out, and will hopefully bring some more promo for LTC. So, in show of support for a popular alt currency, and my current alt currency of choice, I'm conducting this LTC-based raffle. The ticket price is small, and I have no expectations on how many people will be interested, so let's just give it a try and see! - I am putting 4 LTC in to start the raffle off, so no matter how few people enter, there will be LTC won- Winner payout is 94% - so, since I'm putting in 4 LTC to start, unless enough people enter, I might be paying you to play out of my own pocket  - It should go without saying, but I am not eligible to win my own raffle- You can enter the raffle as many time as you like, and can also combine all of your desired ticket purchases into a single funds transfer- Once ticket payment is sent, you can post the transfer ID in this thread, or pm it to me: http://explorer.litecoin.net/- Tickets will be numbered in the order that they're received, and the winning ticket number will be randomly generated from the total number of entriesThe wallet to send LTC ticket payments to is LdbXAEPdNXDdEzaX8RVUfBUStNLdDbwJNQ - hosted on BTC-e The current round will end March 20th at 7 pm PST - at the time of this edit, there is currently 4 btc in the pot. which is accurate? 519.3 kh/s vs 640 kh/s. Ozcoin always shows a much higher hash rate than cgminer.  |
