What am I selling?

I am looking to sell 4 of the pre-ordered BFL Single SCs that I ordered in July (order number 5xxx).

Why am I selling them?

I am selling these because I'm unhappy with the lack of progress and information from BFL. It's December now and when I ordered them it was suggested it would be October they would ship. I think I would do well to diversify to whoever ends up shipping first. If it's BFL and I sold these, oh well.

I will sell all 4 or a combination of each. Shipping will be included. Since in the original pre-order I'm talking about (of 6) I have them all shipped to me, I will send them out at my own expense to whoever buys them. However, due to export restrictions I will only ship to the United States and not overseas - sorry.

I will sell these in BTC, starting at 120BTC each.

Auction closes in 1 week from today (Saturday, December 8th, 2012). After that, payment is expected to this BTC address of 1dooferoD3vnwgez3Jo1E4bFfgMf81LR2 for the amount of the bid(s).

I have a few bitcoin 'accounts' on my particular instance. I know these accounts are pretty mythical, but I wanted to clean things up a bit. I have this:

when I issue the command

bitcoind move acct1 "" 4.48588183

it just hangs for hours. I have killed off the bitcoind (because it then stops listening to even a 'stop' command) and tried again after restarting. Same thing. Tried a remake of the wallet by repimporting dumped private keys from the previous wallet. The 'balances' there show up again, but I cannot get it to be resolved.

I moved off all coins from that wallet (total ends up as zero) but it has addresses would like to keep and use.

Any hints to resolve this?

I have been tinkering with managing my own bitcoind installations and have tried sending from a few accounts. I noticed that the bitcoind will simply pick whatever address it wants to send them from instead of the address of the account given. Is this by design? Seems odd.

In looking for answers I noticed someone had a patch for adding a sendfromaddress method to the client. I have not tried that yet since it looks like it was for an older source tree.

Is the sendfromaddress method going to be added some time? I would certainly simplify managing accounts. For example, I sent coins from one account to the satoshi dice thing, and it chose the address on another account and so the winnings went back to that one! Weird

I tried it again and it then chose an address that wasn't even associated with an account so the 'return address' wasn't even one my bitcoind recognized or something since I've not seen any return coins, even the 1 satoshi you get on losing.

I am trying to set up my 'wallet holding' machine behind my gateway machine and have both of them run bitcoind. The gateway machine can run its copy and connect to peers, the 'wallet holding machine' (that runs truecrypt, RAID-1 etc) should connect to the gateway bitcoin server.

I have both installations installed and they can sync to the bitcoin network. My problem is when I change the internal peer to connect (via adding the connect=x.x.x.x:8333 line in its bitcoin.conf) that peer no longer will keep synchronization. I am judging network synchronization by seeing the block count increase on the gateway peer, but it does not on the internal peer.

Anyone have this happen and/or any hints?

Having tried using flexcoin, I have to say, STAY AWAY!

I had a small balance from mining activities that I started depositing to flexcoin. I decided I wanted to move that to an account under CryptoXChange.

When I tried to do the transfer, it didn't take the fees out automatically. Strange, I thought. I checked the fees and deducted it from the amount I was trying to send. Still says not enough coins. I commented on this to the customer service and they proceeded to treat me like an idiot saying I couldn't do 'simplistic math', stating that I *obviously* needed to work out the fee differently.

Only when I tried with an amount that would leave me with a balance of 0.00000001 in my flexcoin wallet did the transfer succeed.

So, beware. Your coins may be stuck there and flexcoin are immature jerks who will not help you.
