==== UPDATE ====

When I made this post I didn't think I would get so many messages !! And people thinking im a scammer despite my Trust level.

At the time I thought the 0.1 BTC would be worth more because it is untouched, it is a old paper wallet created 3 years ago, I thought this would add value since they are an old coin.... after being called a scammer, I have learnt otherwise, I now know it is worth no more.

I was not planning to sell for Fiat, I don't want Fiat for it, I was wondering if someone wanted my 0.1 BTC created in 2015 for 0.11 BTC as I can't be asked to do the coin splits,

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Dominance 38% - Whats up on: December 30, 2017, 10:56:04 AM
The price USD terms of bitcoin is irrelevant, the dominance % is most important.

Today the dominance is below 38%. I have never seen it this low, it shows that other cryptos are taking over and moving their money elsewhere from bitcoin

Whats happening ?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I PAID $60 USD FOR TRANSACTION AND STILL UNCONFIRMED!!! on: December 21, 2017, 07:10:31 AM
I Cannot send this transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/70aabb0c39308fc74752fecf22b418211ac99239df2c4b8cc9d1a175cbdfdc84

I don't know why but it NEVER confirms

At first it was 40/sats, I waited 7 days, THEN I did a RBF and made it 180/sats and waited 3 days. STILL NOTHING

Last night I made it 230/sats fee. ALMOST $60 !!!!! AND STILL NOTHING

I only want to move it from one wallet to another, this is ridiculous.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Has my Ledger Nano S Been Hacked ??? on: December 20, 2017, 11:03:32 AM
I sent 0.15 LTC into Coinbase from my Ledger.... I confirmed this though the ledger, it showed 1 output.

Now when I view the transaction ID, there is 2 Outputs and its moved an extra 0.3 LTC To some other address I don't know ?? What is strange is that my balance hasn't gone down more than the original 0.15 than I originally moved ? Whats happening !!!

What is this second output ?

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I received Bitcoin into Exodus ??? on: December 20, 2017, 09:16:09 AM
I have the same private keys logged with Exodus and Blockchain.info, so I can access funds from both wallets.

I sent 0.005 Bitcoin from Blockchain.info and it has been stuck for 3 days, https://blockchain.info/tx/3d8ef90203109c65fe669ff20edad9a8cc40d9555d73f5827bf2b8016e54f4d8

Today I randomly received 0.0035 Bitcoin into Exodus, and I checked the keys and these are from the inputs from the last transaction above.... it looks like I have received 0.0035 reversed from the 0.005 I sent, what do I do ? I want the whole amount back, but it looks like I have been returned a bit of it for some reason
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / TIME TO SELL BTC FOR BCH ?? OR WAOT FOR SEGWIT2X on: December 20, 2017, 08:40:47 AM
What should we do ? Now that Blockchain.info and Coinbase fully support Bitcoin Cash it shows that it does have potential... and we are all sick with the stupid high fees with Bitcoin Core.

Could it be time to sell some bitcoin core for bitcoin cash ? I don't have any Bitcoin Cash.

Also we have Segwit2X coming out on the 28th December :http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/segwit2x-revival-will-happen-soon/
Segwit does the exact same as Bitcoin Cash by the sounds of it, so is there a chance this would compete with Bitcoin Cash

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin HAS FAILED on: December 17, 2017, 04:50:55 PM
Bitcoin has failed.

It costs up to $100 to send a small transaction, I find it hard to believe bitcoin hasn't dropped to $0 already. There will be a future crypto (I like Litecoin) but the future crypto is defiantly NOT Bitcoin. Its unreliable and is almost impossible to recover funds if they never confirm.

Im looking forward to bitcoin failing and something else taking over, im surprised im saying that as I hold a little bit of bitcoin, but I feel it has failed and nothing more than market hype and new comers are causing this price influx.

I would of course change my mind if the developers where actively doing something about this issue and keeping us informed, but it appears they are not. Lightning network has not been integrated, Segwit 1x is not used.

Despite us knowing bitcoin has scaling issues for years nothing has been done about it, and now it Is much cheaper and safer to send money via a bank transfer.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Please help What should I do ?? on: December 16, 2017, 11:24:01 PM
Hello

I have a unconfirmed transaction, I did pay the amount blockchain.info required at the time 41/sats, the fee was almost $10, it has been roughly a day now, some people have been waiting for months for their transaction to confirm. Is there anyway someone could help accelerate it for me please? This is all the bitcoin I have and cannot sent a child transaction to like some others tried.

I have tried the viabtc website but it does not work.

Any help is much appreciated

Thank you

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Turn off multi receiving addresses !!! Ledger Nano S on: December 10, 2017, 12:54:47 PM
I would like to turn off Multiple receiving addresses on the Ledger Nano S because if you receive small amounts of bitcoin every time you press receive on the ledger a different address is shown... this is very annoying because when you want to move all the bitcoin in that address then you have to pay the bitcoin fee for every different address the bitcoin is stored in.

Surely this is very inefficient and Ledger would have thought about this ?

Blockchain.info do the exact same thing, every time you receive bitcoin they generate a new address so when you want to move the bitcoin you have to pay the fee multiple times because all the receiving addresses where different.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Coinbase not broadcasting transactions to the blockchain !! 12 Hours ?? on: December 07, 2017, 07:18:49 PM
I have withdrawn bitcoin to cold storage 12 hours ago, however there is a orange dot next to it in Coinbase saying 'PENDING'

When I check the recipient address on the blockchain it does not show any unconfirmed transaction, this means that Coinbase has not broadcasted the transaction yet and its been 12 hours !!

19  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Legacy or Segwit on Ledger Nano S on: December 07, 2017, 02:11:55 PM
Hello,

I am transferring over a small amount of BTC to my Ledger Nano S, however there is 2 options on the Ledger, Bitcoin Legacy OR Bitcoin Segwit.

Which one should I transfer funds to ??

Are both supported everywhere ? Are both just as safe ? If I choose Segwit, will I get future Forks ??

Thank you

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Are old paper wallets safe ?? 3 years old address on: December 04, 2017, 07:30:03 PM
Hello,

If someone has a paper wallet created roughly 3 years ago, is the small amount of bitcoin on it safe ?

Do old bitcoin addresses become unusable ? I only ask as I have an old address and the fees to sweep this is very high compared to a newly created wallet ?

I am happy to keep this old paper wallet, I just want to know that the small amount of a BTC is safe on this
