Good alternative for those having mining hardware and want to use them again, if those are compatible with the new mining method proposed from SONM.
SONM fog computing platform is a fresh start for solo mining. There are lots of miners with GPU mining farms that are becoming useless due to the increased Proof-of-work mining difficulty (even for altcoins). In recent years, being a part of a mining pool has been the only way to guarantee a profit from mining. But even in doing so, this profit is so small that sometimes it does not even cover the cost of electricity spent for PoW mining.

The SONM project will launch the alpha version for the game server,
this is a great achievement of the SONM team, first it gives them credibility of what they are doing,
other teams probably will wait to release their alpha version after the ICO process which normally gives more value to the
coin and the to the project. But for the SONM team this is not the case apparently, in other words, greedeness in not what they are into.
The SONM team focus their work at a scientific level rather than just commercial, like many others.

How soon is soon? mmm no idea, it all depends on how many developers are working on the SONM project and how abundant their budget is, between other factors like how big the support they have from the crypto community and the non-crypto community which normally is smaller than the crypto,
but chances are the mainstream media reach them and spread the word and the support from their own community at slack.

I wonder why the new crypto projects are not including a referral program in their promotional/marketing program, this could be another way to attract new potential coin buyers, plus the social media worker can get the benefit of that and the project may get more leads. Hoy es buen momento para hacer crecer un buen grupo de personas que deseen ser pioneros y apoyar al mercado latinoamericano en cuestion de fintech (tecnologia financiera) Sabemos que hay muchas deficiencias en el sistema financiero en america latina, y hoy bien podemos hacer uso de las criptomonedas para sacar adelante a la region.
Un primer paso como en todo es EDUCACION. Pero sobre todo contar con la union de diferentes personas y organismos que apoyen a que esto se lleve a cabo. Si estas interesado en crear un grupo muy grande apoyando a mejorar el sistema financiero de america latina, trabajando en equipo en un gran projecto, el cual hasta hoy no he detectado, pero si tu sabes de alguno favor de dejar los datos en este hilo, para que asi muchas personas podamos evaluar la informacion de cada proyecto y decidir a cual entrarle.
Si bien hoy en dia el 98% de los proyectos de tecnologia financiera o criptomonedas estan todos en ingles, y ya es hora de romper ese paradigma.
Empezando con hacer una lista de proyectos que ya existan en software abierto/criptomonedas fintech etc, enfocados a apoyar a america latina, si bien ya hay proyectos como Stellar que tiene una mision para hacer llegar los beneficios de la tecnologia financiera a las grandes masas que aun no cuentan con acceso a servicios financieros, hace falta darle un enfoque en el mercado latino, ya sea con stellar u otro proyecto nativo en Español.
