2  Bitcoin / Mining support / I have a 5850, Throttled by Bitminter Client? on: November 26, 2012, 12:58:58 PM
My 5850 goes up to 400Mh/s when I start it then a red light appears and it drops back to 350Mh/s and fluctuates between 350 and 360Mh/s where a red light appears when it goes over 350.

How do I remove the throttle?
OR
What backend does Bitminter Client use? (so I can use that instead)

SPECS:
Intel Pentium (8?) CPU
Assorted 3GB Ram
Gigabyte Unknown Model Motherboard
4x5850 GPU (Cypress)

9  Other / Beginners & Help / ASIC Miners have screwed me over. on: October 16, 2012, 01:09:22 PM
I have just bought a new Graphics card for bitcoin mining and realized that ASIC's were going to be released in a short while. Shocked
Graphics card overheats from over clocking and knowing the cable for the cooling fan out while installing sound card leaving me with a nvida geforce 840gs.  Cry
I want to get into the Bitcoin mining business. Any ideas?
