5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Best way to destroy bitcoins? Send them to the value 0 address? on: May 09, 2016, 01:39:36 PM
Am I correct that the best way to destroy bitcoins is to send them to the bitcoin address with value 0?

Public key: 16QaFeudRUt8NYy2yzjm3BMvG4xBbAsBFM

Privake Key (compressed): KwDiBf89QgGbjEhKnhXJuH7LrciVrZi3qYjgd9M7rFU73Nd2Mcv1
Private Key (uncompressed): 5HpHagT65TZzG1PH3CSu63k8DbpvD8s5ip4nEB3kEsreAbuatmU

Even with the private keys the bitcoins sent to this address cannot be spent as the keys don't fall in the allowed range (> 0).

7  Economy / Digital goods / SQL DB with all Bitcoin used addresses + Brute Force Bot on: January 02, 2016, 01:30:15 PM
Hi All,

Not sure if this has any value or not, but just in case I'm listing it here.

As posted here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1305887

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua04HEx_zdk

I have the bot you can see in the video plus a SQL Server DB with all used bitcoin addresses from 2009 to feb 2015 (around 10GB).

The db already has many performance upgrades to be easy to query.

The bot is designed to Brute Force bitcoin private keys, it's pretty fun to play with it.

Is pretty fun to play with the database, for example you can query stuff like this:

SELECT Address FROM Addresses WHERE Address like '%satoshi%'

Code:
1SatoshiFueNuestroLiberadorSoJfx4
1SatoshihTC26vJYKQYfdADhTwuCnUkto
1satoshipK52JiSJvaw6K2UKV8DKzk1iY

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / We should start pricing Bitcoins in Satoshis to realize how cheap it is! on: January 01, 2016, 06:41:05 PM
Yup, look how cheap one satoshi is: $0.0000043

Even the exchanges should price it this way, you would see 1 satoshi going up to $1 in a minute.

That would put 1 BTC = $100,000,000 Smiley

Happy New Year everybody!
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: December 28, 2015, 04:12:47 PM
Hi guys,

In continuation to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1305887.0

While playing around with my bot, I found out this mysterious transaction:

https://blockchain.info/tx/08389f34c98c606322740c0be6a7125d9860bb8d5cb182c02f98461e5fa6cd15

those 32.896 BTC were sent to multiple addresses, all the private keys of those addresses seem to be generated by some kind of formula.

For example:

Address 2:

The prize would be ~32 BTC Smiley

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / brute force on Bitcoin Addresses - Video of the action on: December 27, 2015, 08:10:50 PM
So just for the fun I created this bot that brute forces Bitcoin addresses.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua04HEx_zdk

Of course its nearly impossible to crack any normal generated addresses but as I said, just doing it for the fun Smiley)

Here is what i did:

1. Grabbed all unique public keys in the blockchain and placed them in a local Database

2. Coded an app to generate private keys from Bigints (Both compressed an uncompressed) with multiple RNG types

3. For each PVK generated the app checks the Database for a possible public address match

4. A txt file is created with the PVK and Public address in case of a match

5. I will run the app for the next 464656656565656566565646367618239128323718298319239129309 years to see if I get any good addresses Smiley))

I got dozens of used addresses but they were all empty already.

Also did with dictionary attack and got dozens of used addresses, all empty also.
