Earning interest through fee staking

Every transaction with the exception of those linked to exchange accounts will be charged a flat 3% fee. 2% of the fees collected are distributed to other token holders based on weighted balances. This means you can earn more tokens simply by holding them. This benefits those who purchase their tokens to make child support payments and those who who earn interest by holding received child support payments. Investors can also earn interest if they are interested in just trading and holding the tokens as well.

Fast transaction confirmations

Nobody wants to wait hours for their payment to arrive. Most transactions on our network are processed within 30 seconds or less. When payments arrive promptly, angry calls to suspected deadbeats are eliminated. Please note this doesn’t solve the problem of having to listen to them demand more money or claim extraneous expenses. You are on your own dealing with that.

One of the largest complaints in the world of child support is that payments made in cash are difficult to prove in court. Nothing is more disheartening that going to court and having your child’s parent claim you never paid because you don’t have a receipt. SPERM is completely trustless. Every transaction is recorded on the ledger permanently and we are committed to developing tools which will allow users to produce human readable statements verifying their payment history should any discrepancies arise.

2% of each transaction is automatically distributed to holders in the form of a reward with no need for farming or staking! This means the amount of tokens in your wallet will forever increase as transaction velocity increases.
SPERM resides within a class of token that rewards holders just for holding. The amount of rewards received increases over time the longer an holder holds. Holders are also rewarded for the success of SPERM with higher transaction volumes leading to increased fees, and rewards for distribution.

Launch supported airdrop - The launch will be supported by three airdrops. After 30 days, 20 million SPERM tokens will be distributed equally to the top 200 holders. After 60 days, 40 million additional SPERM tokens will be distributed equally to the top 200 holders. After 90 days, 40 million additional SPERM tokens will be distributed equally to qualifying holders within the top 100 holders with the largest balances. In order to qualify for the 3rd airdrop, a holder would have to have received the airdrop for at least one of the two initial airdrops and be in the top 100 holders at 90 days after launch. This should yield a large payoff for early adopters who steadily accumulate tokens during the first 90 days. Team and exchange accounts will be excluded from the airdrops. Additional airdrops may be announced after the first 3 have completed if the token has gained significant traction. This will put 26% of all coins into the public domain within the first 90 days.

The SPERM token also utilizes a proxy contract. This allows us to update the contract with new features if they become required in the future.

Background

The Casinocoin Dev Team is proud to announce a new client release today coinciding with the 1st anniversary of the launch of Casinocoin. In the release, we instituted the following changes:

1.) The total number of Casinocoins that will be minted will be reduced from 336 million to 63 million.
2.) The block reward will be permanently reduced from 50 coins per block to 10 coins per block.
3.) New DNS seeds have been added base don the casinocoin.org domain to improve syncing.
4.) a homebrew contrib patch was added to facilitate proper compilation for OSX

These changes have been heavily discussed within the Casinocoin community and there is a general consensus that making these two changes will strengthen the coin's value proposition for existing online gambling businesses worldwide.

What is the impact of this release?
These changes that are introduced with this release will require a hard fork at block 546250. This means that upgrading to version 1.3.0 is mandatory on July 18th. Clients running the current version 1.2.0 will cease being supported following the 1.3.0 official release. 1.2.0 will no longer be compatible with the Casinocoin block chain.

Will I lose my existing coins?
No. Existing coins will be preserved. You can continue with business as usual following the update provided you upgrade your wallet to version 1.3.0.

Where do I download the new Casinocoin client?
Initially, Casinocoin clients will be available from http://casinocoin.org for Linux. Windows and OSX clients will be released shortly. In addition, the source code can be downloaded from: https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/releases/tag/1.3.0.0

The newest alt coin - AlphaCoin has arrived! Alphacoin is a clone from Litecoin, using scrypt.

Version 1.1 released, more checkpoints, more secure! Download the new client below. Fixed the Litecoin message issue.


Specifications:

- 30 seconds block target
- 4 confirms per transaction. So every transaction will be confirmed in 2 mins.
- Difficulty retargets every 30 mins, that is every 60 blocks. Also using accelerated retargets at the beginning to completely avoid instamining.
- Total 210,182,000 coins.
- To encorage early adoption the coins per block is high for the first 3 days (block time):
   - 1st day: 500 coins per block
   - 2nd day: 200 coins per block
   - 3rd day: 100 coins per block
   - Starting 4th day, it will be 50 coins per block, will be halved every two years (or 2073600 blocks).
- First 1000 blocks of 1000 coins each are premined. This
   is used for bounty of various needs. Also the 1000 blocks

Getting Started:

1. Start up alphacoin-qt, wait for it to load, then exit.
2. Put alphacoin.conf (see sample file above) in your c:/users/**yourcomputername**/appdata/roaming/Alphacoin
3. restart alphacoin-qt, and you should connect and sync.
4. For solo mining, launch cgminer or whatever mining program you like and begin mining.
      cgminer ex: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o localhost:9539 -u **yourusername** -p **password** (without **)
