1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / I GOT HACKED AND LOST 1 MILLION on: December 05, 2018, 10:32:11 PM
Yesterday in the very early hours of the morning Dec 4th I have been hacked and completely robbed out. The total of 1 Mio USD in different coins have been stolen from my system. I am still pissed off from my own shitty security. But things happened and I cannot go back in time.

Here ist the list coins and transactions of the robbery:

I wish I never make this experience in my life - but I cannot turn the clock back. If anybody has a good idea how to track down the thief the reward will be 10% of the recovered sum or a minimum of 10,000 USD in case of success.

There is one more information - the thief also tried to corrupt my Gmail account and Google gave me this information:

   Uhrzeit:    Gestern, 03:10
   Standort:    Litauen
   IP-Adresse:    46.166.160.158

It can be checked here:     https://tinyurl.com/y782ufvu

I am looking desperately for any kind of help or ideas how to go on with this case.

Thank you for any help

Just found this by following Reddit braincontrol.me

This wallet looks pretty cool and judges Apple's Bitcoin ban to what it is - stupid and senseless.

Just this appeared on my screen:

My opinion is that hosters which fight against Bitcoin should not be supported by Bitcoin users.
7  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Bitcoin-QT database corrupted on: November 18, 2013, 10:49:21 AM
Hello

today the Bitcoin-QT suddenly stopped with the error message 'Database corrupted". The wallet is encrypted and it does not help to restore a formerly working backup of the wallet.dat.

How do I have to handle this?
8  Economy / Economics / When will Bitcoin take over the money transfer market on: November 18, 2013, 12:15:10 AM
If I look at this:
http://coinometrics.com/bitcoin/btix

I think WU (and all competitors) has a serious problem with their core business model. It is no more a question if but more when Bitcoin will take over the market.

My estimate is at the current growth rate (0.59 % per day - that was for the past but now the growth rate seems to escalate) it will take at most one year.

My suggestion to WU would be to turn into a company for Bitcoin ATMs very fast before other companies take over this business.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / My first Bitcoin on: October 22, 2013, 06:07:44 PM
On Oct 17th 2012 I bought my first 0.05 BTC. I was not sure how things will develop. So I did buy small amounts and traded them again. Today I could bite my ass not having bought simply 1000 of them.  Huh
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / boards and localbitcoins on Bitmessage platform on: October 10, 2013, 01:53:38 PM
Hi all

since the breakdown of bitcointalk.org we know how easy it is to attack the community on central services. It was a good sign that no serious implication has been on the market (even not the SR shutdown  Grin ). But on the other side we have also the experience from Bitcoin itself how much better distributed, trustless systems work.

Therefor I suggest two applications to be created:

1. distributed discussion board system based on the Bitmessage platform and protocol

2. distributed market place for for coins also based on the technology of Bitmessage

With these kind of services nobody would be able to shutdown or interrupt the community anymore.

What is your opinion - anybody there to create a paper ?
11  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin market backing on: August 04, 2013, 12:22:17 PM
I am looking for a real measurement for the market backing of Bitcoin.

For sure the pure market capitalization listed on http://bitcoincharts.com/ is one measurement: 840,361,721 EUR for today

Further candidates which are really measurable:
  • number of auctions in Bitmit (today 11920)
  • number of results for google search with 'Bitcoin' (http://bit.ly/1bZhdSL - today About 27,000,000 results)

Is there anything else ?
