1  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB: Good condition Knc Titan Cube on: June 10, 2018, 12:05:52 AM
I am looking for a good condition Knc Titan cube.  If you have one you would like to sell PM me with the details.  Thanks.

Updated with more info:

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Innosilicon A4+ Coming soon - Pre-order on: September 01, 2017, 01:24:29 PM
I will fill in the details later today on the A4+ Scrypt miner that is coming.  Pre-order is available now.  I believe the delivery is Oct-Nov 2017.  I will share what we know so far shortly.  Please stand by.

Current lab machine:
A4+
520mhs
700-750w
Appears to be roughly same dimensions at existing A4.

https://youtu.be/W9z-haTm7nY

Current pre-order customers for the existing A4 will be given the option to upgrade the order to the A4+ if the customer is willing to pay the price difference between the A4 and A4+.

The price per mega hash is the same for the preorder.  Batches after the pre-order will likely see a price increase for the A4+ due to higher costs of the unit.

I will detail this out more today as I have time just so everyone understands the cost difference.

Questions about the exchange rate on the web site for ordering has been brought up and hopefully that will be corrected to reflect a more current price in LTC and BTC.  I will keep you posted.

You can pre-order the A4 now and will get the option to upgrade.  The current MOQ for the A4 order is 3 units.  I am told that if we get enough interest in a group buy the MOQ will be 5 units.  I am asking for details now.

More to come later...
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Possible ASIC X11 Miner DR-100 - group buy on: August 15, 2017, 02:39:48 AM
Just putting some feelers out for interest in possibly getting in on a group buy for the ASIC X11 Miner DR-100.  This is an X11 miner, 17ghs 820watts.  This miner is going to be shipping soon as in 8/25-9/???  Right now the cost is a little over $7000 plus shipping.

The catch with the Pinidea miner is that the web site will only let you order at least 5 units and then they will toss a 6th unit in for free.

So to be able to get one of these you would have to buy at least 5.  Well I don't have that kind of budget and I suspect others here don't either.  But if we could get a few people interested in picking up one or 2 units we could get our minimum purchase of 5 units so we could place an order.

This miner isn't the fastest, or most efficient miner that has been recently announced in the market, but it may be the quickest shipping miner which means the best shot at possibly getting ROI in a reasonable amount of time.

UPDATE: We have now been told that batch 1 is sold out and starts shipping 8/25.  We are trying to get dates for when batch 2 would start to ship.  Of course shipping date would impact the value these miners have in the market and the price they are worth as Bitmain starts to ship batches in September also.

Below are the specs.  Please post a reply if this is something you might be interested in doing.  If we can get enough interest we can talk about how we would work out the details.  I am focused on orders for the US as we can setup a point of contact for taking delivery and then shipping miners onto those who placed orders.

Let me know what you guys think.  We have an email exchange with Pinidea on this subject and trying to get specifics now.

4  Economy / Exchanges / WARNING - Poloniex(POLO) deposit and support issues - you may lose your money on: July 29, 2017, 03:35:07 PM
I have been having a one sided(me opening tickets and getting no response) battle for well over a month with Poloniex(Polo) regarding ETC deposits.  My deposits do not show up.  You open a ticket with Polo support.  They get ZERO response.  I open more tickets, again ZERO response.

Now I don't know if this issue is specific to just ETC.  I know I just received a deposit today on Polo for ZEC.  I haven't mined ZEC for over a week and I get a deposit today.  So this issue may extend to other coins besides ETC.

Polo used to have the Trollbox where you could get someone to take a look and give you a quick response if they were having wallet issues or some other problems.  Now you don't even have that.  They do not process their tickets.

Your money goes off into limbo pending them doing something... MAYBE!

At this point I would like to warn people that Polo has serious problems and there is no recourse for you and they are not processing any tickets.  As long as things work fine then you may get your deposits, but if they don't work there is no way to get anyone to help you.

At this point I consider my missing ETC deposits THEFT.  My first tickets for this were opened the second week of JUNE and still no reply and no deposits.  I changed coins I was mining and came back to ETC second week in July and again my ETC is not being deposited and again no response from Polo Support.

I hope Polo monitors the forums.  I seriously doubt it.  If they are monitoring the forums I would really like them to monitor the TICKETS!

Maybe it is time for regulators to look into Polo like they have done with BTC-E.  What is going on with ETC is theft, and I hope it isn't happening with other coins as well.

Share your recent experiences with Polo support here.  It is time to put the heat on these guys.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Group Buy - Innosillicon A5 Dashminer on: July 19, 2017, 01:01:23 PM
With the Announcement from Inno for the A5 Dashminer I may be interested in helping to coordinate a group buy here on the forum. I don't yet know if Inno will be interested, but I have helped organize a group buy here for the A4. So we have some history doing this.

So I am tossing this out to the community to see how much interest there woul be in a group buy. We are short on details at this time and Inno may not be price competitive with Bitmain. But I will be glad to pass along anything I can and see if a group buy is possible.

So post here, let us know how many units you might be interested buying and your location. We would likely need a trusted person in your part of the world to take delivery and forward miners unless you want to buy in a larger quantities. Then it may be possible to direct ship.

I am in the US so I can help facilitate US orders if the group buy turns out to be possible.

If you have a Batch 1 or Batch 2 miner that restarts or drops hash boards:
If you have a Batch 1 and Batch 2 miner you will need to have your miner firmware flashed.  To get your miner flashed please contact Innosilicon and request to have your name added to the list to get the jig shipped to you.  This will fix the restart problem and the dropped hash boards issue.

Most initial customer issues have been addressed by Innosilicon regarding firmware, flashing firmware, and miner stability issues.  If you are still having any issues at all with your A4's please reach out to Innosilicon.

Inno has supported this community very well and have backed up the A4 with not just words, but they have stuck behind their promises.  The A4 is a solid, reliable miner today due to Inno's support and their willingness to open source the software to get the kind of performance needed from the A4.

If you are considering a new A4 today it is a solid and reliable miner for Scrypt coin mining.

I have asked about setting up a group buy here on BCT and would like to start the conversation about how many people would be interested in getting into this group buy.  We need a minimum order of 10 units to place an order.  I have ask about doing this with Chloe at Innosilicon and I am awaiting a reply back now.

I have also asked for more details, pictures, video of the running miners like what they have done in the past with the A2 so we can see what it is we are talking about and an idea of what this miner looks like in action.

So I guess the question here in this thread is do you want to be in the group buy?  If so how many units do you want?

Of course there are a lot of details to iron out yet, but now is the time to get that ball rolling.  If you have experience here on BCT organizing a group buy or have experience setting something like this up please feel free to chime in.  We can use all the input we can get as we organize this group buy.

UPDATE 1: I received a response from Innosilicon regarding the inquiry on the A4, a group buy, and possibly extending the warranty.  Also they have a demo video for the A4 chip.  I punched in the numbers they quote in the video and they don't appear to match what is provided for the miner.  So I will ask for more info.  I will be sharing the link to this group buy post with them so that they might join in the conversation and possibly facilitate the group buy.  They have offered to extend the warranty to 45 days vs the 30 days and explained that it is parts replacement warranty due to shipping costs.  So if we have a bad board or module they will ship the replacement part instead of the back and forth trying to ship entire units.

UPDATE 2: We have an update regarding the A4 miner, and the ship dates have moved forward to August-Sept.

Here is the demo video for the 14nm A4 chip:

10  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD][US] A2 Terminator - 88mh Scrypt Miner on: June 08, 2016, 03:58:04 PM
I have an A2 Terminator 88mh miner I would like to sale.  I can provide screen shots and pictures of the miner running.  This is a good running miner, but I am just running out of space so my loss is your gain.  I am asking .86 btc +shipping.  If you would like to use an escrow I prefer Ognasty or philipma1957.  Please PM me if you have questions or would like some pics/screen shots of the running miner.  If your in the market for a miner you know this is a great price so no lowball offers.  Thanks.

Updated: Someone pointed out that they think this is the 88mh version of the miner.  I updating to reflect this info.  The miner settings say 111mh when set on the highest speed, but I have never seen it hash at that rate.  So I will change the description and price accordingly.

UPDATED(added pics):

I just fired it up as I have been mining Eth mostly these days and I have not been running the A2 as I am getting roasted out of the house and don't have the room to run all these rigs... I sorta got carried away! Smiley

Please let me know what additional pictures or information you would like to see for the A2.  Let me know if your able to see them OK or if you would like more pictures.  Thanks.
