5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Baikal Giant A-900 Overclocking? on: March 10, 2017, 08:53:41 PM
Looking at the stats for the Baikal Miners it seems there might be some room for overclocking considering the low frequency and temperature when mining. Has anyone successfully overclocked the Baikal Miners?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / List of X11 / X13 / X14 / X15 / Quark / Qubit altcoins and the statistics? on: March 06, 2017, 05:19:23 PM
I have an old Baikal miner sitting around but I can't seem to find a complete list of altcoins using X11 / X13 / X14 / X15 / Quark / Qubit algo. I am talking about smaller coins, new coins, etc.

Anyone have a good list or can point to a place where you can get an idea of what fun coins can be mined?
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Networking hardware for mining operation on: February 14, 2017, 04:30:22 PM
I have a friend who runs 100+ ASIC/GPU and is running into some fairly serious latency issues. Currently running cat-5 cabling to all miners, and a DSL line @ 20 MBit + multiple Netgear 48 port switches.

Does anyone here have useful advice on how to mitigate latency in mining operations? What are some obvious things to do, and not to do? Internet speed recommendations etc.

I will most likely be testing a Cisco Catalyst Managed GB internet switch to see if I can resolve the issues as a first step

10  Economy / Services / ► LOGO CONTEST ◄► coinmillions.com logo design ◄► 0.1 BTC prize ◄ on: June 13, 2016, 09:03:32 PM
Hello everyone!

As part of the 'reboot' of Coinmillions.com crypto currency gambling we are looking at possibly refreshing the logo.  Coinmillions.com (https://coinmillions.com) is a from scratch coded gambling website that currently accepts Litecoin, Bitcoin and Ripple (more coming) and we are getting ready for a marketing push and feel that perhaps a new logo would be a 'nice to have' thing.

The reward will be:  0.1BTC

The contest is valid for 7 days (ending in 06-20-2016 (mm-dd-yyyy), 23.59.59 CET)
Please sumbit your samples here.
We will choose 1 (one) winner.
Payment via BTC (or PayPal I guess, but we are on a bitcoin forum)

Requirements:

- the logo should fit to our actual website and I may ask you to deliver a few different sizes.
- should be modern, Bitcoin related.
- should fit into the current color theme of coinmillions.com
- should have transparent background
- should be unique
- (not mandatory) I like the idea of using '$$' signs as replacement for the 'll' in coinmiLLions.com so perhaps that can be squeezed in. If you have a really great design, this may not matter.

As a bonus, if you are a talented designer we may also order Banners and other graphics from the winner.

We look forward to your design proposals

Thank you
- The Coinmillions team.

16  Economy / Collectibles / Someone open to making a coin on commission? on: May 08, 2016, 06:23:49 PM
I am looking to commission a coin for IOTA (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1216479.0). Would be a 1 oz silver coin with private key hologram. If you are interested and have references from creating coins in the past, PM me!
17  Economy / Games and rounds / 7bitcasino = SCAM! Hiding behind fineprint to avoid payout. on: May 06, 2016, 11:07:42 PM
Figured I'd post here since I quickly won almost 5 BTC, and was told that i had 'broken some kind of bonus deal that requires all your bets to be under a certain sum'. Obviously some fine print that they have in place ONLY to refuse payout. Needless to say, a total scam.
18  Economy / Collectibles / 2013 Liberty Dollar Silver QR Coin [Price check] on: May 05, 2016, 01:12:31 PM
I have quite a few of these coins that I purchased from the first batch of minting in 2013. Is there any interest and what ballpark price can I expect? They are all in 100% mint condition, and encapsulated in airtight plastic coin capsules from day-1.

I will of course post actual pictures if I decide to auction, and Escrow for those who want it.
19  Economy / Collectibles / Interest Check - Entire Bitcoin Collection Sale on: May 02, 2016, 03:10:43 PM
I have a 'fair amount' of Bitcoin related memorabilia, Physical coins, swag, Entire library of Bitcoin Magazine and Ybitcoin, that I am thinking about selling. Probably over 100 BTC worth (just the coins alone incldue 100 BTC casascius Bitcoin Bar, 5 BTC Silver/Gold, 1st series Lealana 10 LTC x 2, Ravenit Gold and more), swag from conferences, "Bitcoin Accepted" Here neon sign from first run, Hardware wallets etc.

Would the community recommend I break it up, or sell it as a 'kit', or even auction it off 'lottery style'?
