8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Avoid $BASE like the plague (read for why) on: December 13, 2020, 02:48:11 PM
Base protocol seems to be hot with dreamers so here is my experience from it.

At first I speculated and won and lost a little.  While playing I started learning (how i do stuff i guess).

I found the audit of the code and it does in fact show the mint() function is "override" with a modifier (onlyControllerContract).

THAT contract is NOT immutable since it is a proxy.

That means that the proxy could be set to call a contract that abuses the mint function and dilute everyone (ie reverse rug).

I brought it up in comparison to $REB2 (reb v1 was original rebase contract back in august 2020 and had a draining bug / issue with pooling so it forked to REB2 on 12/7/2020) ( for details)

They banned me for "fud" about the audit.  What is fud is they banned me for technical discussion.

FYI REB2 auditS are good and it can be pooled with Balancer or Uniswap.  No mint function and NO PROXY (so no injection)... NO PREMINE / PREMINT, NO crap.  160k mkt cap 💎

F u $base ... Dueces loses!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Huge opportunity to LP mStable coming? on: October 25, 2020, 05:38:14 PM

With the Compound $COMP liquidator likely to pass, Balancer pool adjustment may be next.

Now would be the time to be in the know!

Price reversal +400% likely on $MTA

10  Bitcoin / Project Development / What charitable DEFI project should I make? on: October 18, 2020, 11:35:55 AM
I have 3 domains and 3 project ideas... What would you like to see me working on?

---options--- - A full featured defi simulation game with real world charitable giving, tournaments, and token airdrops.  Payout % to charity/players/reinvest based on game-governance voting. - Free defi tools, calculators, simulators with premium membership option that funds defi vestments for charitable giving. - A simple donation based vesting into defi protocols with perpetual giving to charity from returns.

The goal is education and adoption of cefi & defi protocols and real world use by demonstrating a perpetual giving fund for charity (waterProject, droneSeed, redCross, etc)

Brand new website launch 8/25/2020

Here is the origin post, that I wrote to show off the types of content YOU can build for free and do PR for tour favorite altcoins.

I used Cred LBA as my topical coin for launch content because I have additional plans to create a crypto "penny a day" ad network and credearn .org and mycred .club.

Revenues from the project will be staked with Credaearn and interest paid to contributors etc.

For starters, I just need people to write Altcoin news and research documents, trading & speculation ideas, polls quizzes etc.  Promote ur Alts!

Pm me after you post your first article with the link if you would like to be considered for earning a share of interest and joining the project team

Transcript of July AMA

"Hi everyone.

I'm Dan Schatt, co-founder and CEO of Cred.

First, I hope you and your friends and your families are well in this environment.  In this crazy time here, all of us at Cred are working from home... mostly in California but but also scattered a little bit throughout the US.  I'm I'm speaking to you today from my home in California, but I hope everyone is well.

This is our AMA that is basically in august, ending july and and coming into august now.   I've got a lot of great questions from you so I want to just jump right into them and and then give you some updates too.

So, the first set of questions here looks like it relates to the recent news related to the occ, the office of comptroller, that regulates national banks here in the US and their recent announcement basically giving the green light to financial institutions for offering up custody of crypto.

The questions are... basically... does Cred have any partnerships? how does this impact Cred?

Let me say this... you know when we built Cred, it was with this notion that there is no operating system for tokens today for conducting financial services for tokens.  [and] You know our notion was that everyone could benefit, not just custodians and wallets and exchanges, but traditional financial institutions that realize that to stay relevant, they're going to need to be able to support lending and borrowing of tokens, in addition to lending a borrowing of fiat.

They would need to get involved as well with crypto and so, Cred today doesn't have banking partnerships but certainly we've been having a number of really interesting valuable conversations with the traditional financial community about this very thing. [and] Cred was really built as an operating system so that institutions can leverage Cred for this sort of thing.

I will say that many of us came from
paypal and when we first joined paypal our team found that most banks were skeptical  about paypal…  sort of the internet payments, and by the time many of us left paypal we had thousands of banks that had integrated paypal services to make their banking capabilities stronger.  [and] I like this expression... history doesn't
repeat itself but it often rhymes.

Really I see the same thing here.  Most banks will not look to build their own crypto banking / crypto lending borrowing capabilities … hire a bunch of solidity developers or bitcoin developers.

They'll likely work with people they feel that are legitimate, compliant, [and] licensed in the space.  Just as banks have outsourced work in online lending and online banking and bill payment, we expect banks to also license with providers like Cred..."

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / $LBA Cred. $15M mkt cap, $200M+ assets, "hidden gem" on: July 19, 2020, 07:51:51 PM
Great CeFi project with fantastic interest rates.

Undervalued by 90% $200M Assets / 1B tokens = $0.20/token but price is just starting its 10x run.

BitPie partnership announced, not yet implemented, 5M users w/ $10B assets gain acces to CredEarn (LBA)

"New functionality coming late summer"

Founding partner of UPT

Earn premium crypto interest through uphold,, and more by staking 10,000 LBA... Limited supply (100,000 max)

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / $LBA ... What up? on: July 11, 2020, 11:47:04 AM
I've been watching CeFi coin $LBA because it is the cheapest coin on Uphold.  Yesterday it acted oddly in the morning so I picked up some.

By last night it spike up by 33% and all I can see in telegram is pending news and speculation about Korea since LBAKRW is most active.

With $200M in assets and a $11M market cap, seems like a deal.

If you find a news link, please post here!
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / DigiBB - Permissionless file storage using the bitTorrent protocol on: June 28, 2020, 06:24:24 PM
My question is, "is this idea useful?"

Create an attractive, easy to use web interface that allows users to upload from their device to the bitTorrent protocol, referencing the torrent SH1 hash and SHA256 validity hash on blockchain.  Optional ownership receipt may be sent or remain totally anonymous.

Creates a publicly referencable blockchain record of files/data uploaded using DHT (trackerless) torrents.

Security and permanance of the blockchain and bitTorrent combined.

Minimal cost for a permanent solution (a few cents per megabyte)

Automatically upload an hourly data feed of your store inventory/catalog

Upload images, mp4 video, files, songs, etc to be publicly available for anyone to access without a fingerprint

Create a chain of data, chronologically, representing family trees

Post messages to bitTorrent without a fingerprint

Run a server to read the uploads and present them for display or download from your users (data aggregation)

Host a blockchain driven bulletin board

Users deposit crypto and get "posting tokens".  Posting tokens to their wallet (blockchain assets "tokens") are used to represent 1 token = 1 byte of upload output so to speak.  At current DigiByte rates, that is approx $0.02/MB.

To increase adoption, visa/mc/paypal may be used to fund account.  This also provides a layer of separate from source to output.

While posting tokens are used to post content, reward tokens could be given for using the network.  Posting tokens represent a promise to transfer data and core wallet digiByte must be maintained at a certain ratio to cover mining fees for promised outputs.  There is room to "tax" transactions and send taxes to a DigiByte addess for distribution based on how many Reward Tokens the wallet has.

20  Bitcoin / Project Development / Best way to crowdfund a life using crypto? on: June 18, 2020, 04:30:06 PM
Hello all (again).  I am toying with ideas for how to use crypto to crowdfund a life.

The overall idea is that the person mints a token and sells it to people (sponsors).  In turn, the person agrees to whatever contract terms were included for the investors.

For example, churches who send humanitarian missionaries could use it to raise funds for trips.

Maybe someone else starts a company...

In a perfect world, the person includes financial obligations to investors.

Thoughts? Huh
