1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is IEO not becoming to be worst than ICO, any future for bounty hunters? on: May 06, 2020, 10:25:41 AM
I received an email today from probit exchange (screenshot 1) and I went to verify this authenticity from their website (screenshot 2). To my amazement, the 100% IEO is true and valid. If this particular project launches a bounty, what will be the expectation of participants? They will not distribute the token to those who make the awareness until it is worthless and useless. Interestingly, all blame is always shifted to the bounty hunters for dumping. How could you run an IEO with 100% bonus and not except a dump when it commences trading, that is double of investment in a short time most often within the same week or month.

IEO is just another tag name to represent ICO and it will worst more than the experience we had during the ICO mania in 2017. Those projects that launch IEO and those who were initiated by Binance launchpad are still counting their losses, most of them are down with more than 150% and same applied to other exchanges. Where would someone run into in this crypto space? Would STO be the option and correct all these anomalies?

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How Bitcoin Could Be The Key To World Peace on: March 03, 2020, 11:31:49 PM
According to this post by Adrian Barkley, it says crypto can elevate the individual over the dominance of corporations and government due to the fact it is a decentralized asset. It further reiterated that people should focus on taking the power back for themselves, decentralizing power. And it starts with bitcoin instead of protesting on the streets, where the risk of getting injured or killed is a lot greater.

I am in 100% align with his belief or what did you think?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Australian court allowed cryptocurrency usage as collateral. on: March 01, 2020, 06:47:13 PM
We are getting there gradually, their eyes have begun to open to the reality that cryptocurrencies are legal tender. Instead of a bank account, the court allowed the plaintiff to use their cryptocurrency exchange account. 4  Economy / Speculation / Can BTC still have any rally before 2020? on: October 03, 2019, 11:19:02 AM
We have been having a lot of debate on where the trend might be shifted to in terms of BTC price. The highest price this year almost reaches $14000, while the majority still believe that we might still get back to this price and even surpass that level, some still at the conservative position that BTC will hover between $7000 -$10000 maximum before the end of this year.

Is anybody here believe in any of these scenarios with valid points and if available an illustration that will establish the fact.

The launching of Facebook stablecoin is getting support from prominent people in the crypto space, regulators have been teaming up in order to dissect Libra for everything it’s got since it will bring an end to all traditional money which is major concerns of some countries in the European soil such as France and Germany which has vowed to block their citizenship from using if later successfully launched. 6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Libra will still launch but not in Europe soil - Zuckerberg on: September 26, 2019, 03:19:19 PM
The co-founder of Facebook and the CEO of Libra has broken the silence about the fate of Libra stable coin. According to him and based on the concerns of some countries which has criticized the development of such project and its impact on the existing currency, they are going to handle the project with the utmost sensitivity. I thought they have all fund and network to lobby there way in but they are taking a different approach. Let's see how things will play out, but I know Libra will be launch one day and the team is not ready to stay distance from the development. You can read further from this site: https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2019/09/zuckerberg-breaks-silence-libra?utm_source=OneSignal&utm_medium=App
7  Economy / Speculation / What is the cause of the current sharp drop, any fundamental? on: September 24, 2019, 10:43:24 PM
Is there manipulation going on or it is just natural. BTC just dropped of sudden from $9700 to $7750. This market is so volatile in such a way that within a twinkle of an eye, you will not believe what you will see in the crypto space. Can it be due to  Bakkt BTC futures launch? which I hope it supposes to be a plus to the BTC market.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is Bitcoin getting global adoption from this statement by central bank governor? on: September 19, 2019, 11:47:47 PM
The central bank governor, Mario Marcel has said that central bank cryptocurrencies (CBDC) can provide more freedom during a time of “unconventional monetary policies.” From his statement, he quoted as saying "The governor goes onto highlight that this new tech could be adopted by the banking system in order to mitigate its intrusive potential. On top of this, distributed ledger technology (DLT) could provide us with some benefits which controversial money technology isn’t able to." 9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / The Effects of Margin Trading on Altcoins on: September 05, 2019, 11:21:36 PM
Bitcoin has reclaimed the $10,000 level again and its dominance is now over 70%, this has keep many wonders when will Altcoin season begin. According to this report https://blog.icoalert.com/altcoins?utm_campaign=Subscribe%20to%20emails&utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email&utm_content=76385455&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-8Cw0PZU0cTd4URI-KHmj50DMzF1Pjtm3f8SldQ8Y5Ujzgsl2pqdADApHuSqranBYayiRPgjfH5LCRMpBN-AYo7-VVGSA&_hsmi=76385455 For awhile, altcoins were the best way to get that 50%+ gain in a day. However, that is no longer the case with the introduction of leveraged products. Now, a 10% move in bitcoin can easily translate to 100%+ move. A trader can get more returns trading BTC and large caps on margin than they would trading mid to low cap altcoins. As a result, margin trading has become the preferred method for retail traders to generate returns. Therefore, everyone dumps their alts to trade BTC on margin.

Would this paradigm chage any time soon or Bitcoin dominance will continue to erupt?
10  Economy / Speculation / Will Bitfinex and Tether recent filling affects BTC Price on: July 10, 2019, 01:23:31 PM
The New York Attorney General Office submitted a report in which it accused Bitfinex and Tether of illegally selling and trading USDT as securities in the state of New York.

The recent filling show in detail that Bitfinex and Tether allowed top investors such as Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz to trade and cash in USDT until “early 2019” and that both companies opened multiple accounts at New York banks.

Will this affect the current uptrend of Bitcoin as most people holds USDT? If YES in which direction, upward or downward?

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Many Faces Of Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 07, 2019, 06:06:11 AM
It is no longer News that early Bitcoin developers distance themselves to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto and many have come publicly in several attempts to claim the Glory of the technology that is intend to reduce hyper-inflation, safe the million that have no bank accounts, reduce or nearly combat poverty in near future and eliminate totally the involvement of third party during transactions.

This report has compiled a list of the foremost candidates to the face behind Satoshi. The identity of the elusive creator(s) of bitcoin is the most cryptic facet of crypto. What everybody was aware of is the fact that on August 18, 2008, the domain bitcoin.org was registered and a white paper signed by one Satoshi Nakamoto. He/she later released the software in January 2009, stayed active in the Bitcointalk forum for a couple more years and then vanished - no goodbye notes or anything.

Someone who has claimed to hold inside information on the real identity of Satoshi is John McAfee, founder of the software giant McAfee, notorious crypto-advocate and potentially eater of his own genitalia if bitcoin doesn't reach $1 Million by 2020,

The report
which have this table of content might be very interesting to digest. But the main questions yet to be answered is "does Satoshi Nakamoto still exist? Is it just an individual or group of people?" What is your opinion, let's speculate?

- Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?
- The usual (crypto) suspects
- The unsolvable candidates
- The Craig Wright case
- The Nakamoto identity: does it matter?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Your thought on USDQ ERC-20 Decentralized Stable Coin on: July 03, 2019, 09:50:14 AM
According to their WhitePaper, it stated that with Q DAO Platform, users can generate various stablecoins, currently USDQ and KRWQ are available. USDQ uses Bitcoin as its collateral, i.e. in order to create USDQ users need to lock up their Bitcoins in a smart contract. The stablecoin's price is pegged to United States Dollar. Stablecoins are seen as an important enabler, paving the path toward mass adoption of DLT-powered digital currencies. In contrast to other stablecoins on the market, USDQ is fully decentralized with all of its components residing on top of the blockchain.

Any person can purchase and sell USDQ via exchanges, brokers or OTC deals. It's an ERC20 token and brings a convenient ease of transfer without any limitations of any kind. USDQ holders can earn additional profits, receiving the Savings Rate, accruing on their holdings.

What is your thought about this project in term of investment? They are running a token sale and bounty currently.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Reserve, a stable, global currency (a stablecoin) and a digital payment system on: May 28, 2019, 02:15:43 PM
It is apparent that Billions of people in the world don't have a safe place in which they can keep their money. Most banks has failed the integrity check and cannot be trusted.
We have seen some corrupt Government finding it difficult in maintaining stable value of their currencies. There are a lot of projects in cryptocurrencies both centralized and decentralized coins which were pegged with US Dollar to tackle this problem.

The major problem with the existing fiat money is that their existing currencies are not well managed which has made them to suffered from disorganization and corruption which makes their currencies to lose value at an alarming rate. Such countries includes Venezuela, South Sudan, Dem. Republic of the Congo, Libya, Sudan, Syria, Yemen etc. These troubled currencies are associated with civil war, economic sanctions, hyperinflation

The Reserve project is aiming to solve this problem with a stable decentrized currency. The team members are straightfoward driven and has come to conclusion in building digital currency that the world will get use to like real money. The dedicaton of the team members is very strong and they are intrinsically motivated and energized by their contribution which might include translating complex incentive systems into code, olving fundamental economic puzzles, growing the network of partners to attack the problem together. The based their decion on evidence and reason

Over the past 6 years, Reserve has been building multidisciplinary team that are suited to attack ambitious and complicated problems. Some Government intentionally inflate their currency to pay up debts which will generally hurt the citizens. This is what lead to the creation of Reserve Protocol which is primary aim is to develop a universal store of value where everyone's money should be secured. They are solving this problem with a stable and decentralize currency which cannot be tampered with any Government  because it is distributed globally without anybody be in control of it.

The Reserve project is backed by Peter Thiel, Coinbase and 40 Others

The Reserved Project has received tremendous backing from Coinbase, Peter Thiel, and 40 Others according to this report. Reserve consider that a viable and stable cryptocurrency price will provided solution for countries with high inflation. While the existing cryptocurrency can do the same because of their decentralized nature which kicks out Government intervention but the volatility in price limit their scope from serving most retail uses. With the introduction of stable decentralized currency that cannot be control by any Government, Reserve is providing the solution.

The Reserve Protocol
The Reserve Protocol is design in a way that make it possible to be implemented on top of any smart contract platform, or on the Reserve Chain itself. As at moment, the protocol is being developed on the Ethereum Network but nonetheless, they will ensure interoperability of the Reserve token across other smart contract platforms. The first phase of the production of the Reserve Protocol will contain fiatcoin that is substantially centralized and in the future, each protocol will be migrated to on-chain which will eliminate the control from the founding members and become fully decentralized.

The three planned phases of the Reserve Network are

- The centralized phase: This are backed by the US Dollar and are in custody of a trust company
- The decentralized phase: This is backed by a changing basket of assets in a decentralized way, but at all cost,it will still be stabilized in price with respect to the US dollar.
- The independent phase: At thsi period, the Reserve will no longer be paired by US Dollar. The intention of this is to stabilizing the purchase power regardless of the fluctuations in the value of the Dollar.

RESERVE PARTNER WITH HUOBI
Huobi is one of the best cryptocurrency in the world today and Reserve is partnering for their third official Huobi Prime. Following this, Reserve token is listed on the 22nd of May on their exchange paring with BTC, Ethereum and HT (Huobi native token). Official announcement from Huobi can be found here.

The next phase for Reserve is to launch crypto-fiat payments in Venezuela in the near future. It will be launched first on the Andriod App via the Google Play Store, which will enable individual and business entity to switch back and forth from local fiat currency to Reserve tokenized Dolla i.e the Reserve Dolla (RSD)

How does Reserve Stablecoin stay stable? Check out this diagram.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Does Hyperwave Theory Relevant to Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2019, 01:28:02 PM
Please do anybody following the Hyperwave Theory by D. Tyler Jenks. Jenks bases his opinion on a theory he calls the ''hyperwave.'' From time to time, he says, various markets pass through a boom-bust pattern, tracing four steps up and three steps down. Although, his theories has worked on most of the traditional market but failed to make impact in crypto space. He said that Bitcoin can only said it has bottomed at the price of $1000 per Bitcoin, now that we are currently above $6500 per Bitcoin, he still make a video two days ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP1ZYG4ebDw) that we should expect a price crash to $1500 level.

How real will this be for thinking back to $1500 or can we conclude that crypto market is different and paid defiant hears to hyperwave theory. With over 40 years in trading, no doubt from saying that He has a domain experience but I am of the opinion that crypto market is far diffrent based on high volatility and fast recovery as compared to stock market. What is your take with this theory?

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Has Bitcoin attained the maturity stage or is too early to conclude so? on: May 09, 2019, 05:34:21 PM
With the recent news that supposedly could have affect the fall of Bitcoin and probably crashes to lower support but instead the price remain in the upward momentum. Bitfinex with Tether issue and just of recent the biggest hacked than happened to Binance Exchange with the hack of over 7000BTC worth over 40 Million USD, despite all these negativity, the Bitcoin price keeps moving Northward.

Is it too early to assume that we are now getting matured in the crypto space and negative news will have less impact as compared to that of 2017 to early 2018? During that period, the price will move downward, sometimes with 10% within an hour.
17  Bitcoin / Press / [2019-05-05] Court Orders Craig Wright to produce his public Bitcoin addresses on: May 06, 2019, 04:40:22 PM
When will all these drama ends with the self-proclaimed Bitcoin Creator. Just a few days ago, the same Craig sued the CEO of bitcoin.com Roger Ver and now in the latest stage of an on-going legal battle over his alleged theft of cryptocurrency assets from the company he co-owned with the late computer forensic expert David Kleiman, the US District Court of the Southern District of Florida has ordered him to present a list of his public Bitcoin addresses by May 8. You can read further via this link: https://coindoo.com/court-orders-self-proclaimed-bitcoin-creator-to-produce-a-list-of-his-public-bitcoin-addresses/?utn_medium=notification&utm_source=onesignal
18  Economy / Speculation / With Bitcoin roaring to the North, any hope for waiters of $1800 bottom? on: May 03, 2019, 09:25:53 AM
Many things are just happening in the crypto space. When Bitcoin hits $3000 - $3200, there are lot of speculation that Bitcoin will found bottom at $1800. Most influential in the crypto space even gone far as bottom is ONLY at $1000. Bitcoin price void their prophecies and jump back to $4200 and thereafter $5000 - $5200 range. Now that is soaring towards North and getting closer to $6000. Don't you think these set of people will join us in the race when we break the resistance at $6400 and it will become glaring to them that BULLS has taken over?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Binance Chain a treat to Ethereum? on: April 19, 2019, 06:28:53 AM
It is no longer news that Binance is launching their own chain on the 23rd of April, 2019. All BNB holders can convert their ERC 20 to Binance Chain and MITH has announce to be the first to migrate to Binance Chain and pumped 60% overnight. Is Binance Chain decentralized or semi-decentrilized considering that they will be in control of their chain network. With the lack of smart contract, are they really pulling any challenge to ETH? Well. If the purpose is for crowdfunding and the possibility of getting listed, BNB might receive a lot of attention. In my own opinion, Binance Team is setting the pace for other exchanges and they are doing really well.
20  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin versus Gold, the conflict on: April 09, 2019, 05:11:48 PM
This speculations that Bitcoin will overshadow Gold at the long-run is an hot topic being discussed by major players. Although they have some similarities which among them is the scarcity, there can only be 21 million bitcoins, while there are around 180,000 tons of the major commodity gold in the world. Financial institution and experts has been describing Bitcoin to resolved the debt issue rampaging the world in no distance time despite the high volatility of Bitcoin from nearly $20,000 in late 2017 and crashed to $3000 range in first quarter of 2019 but still enjoyed the decentralization advantage. I am not doubting this as almost everybody like FREEDOM, this is what Bitcoin is enjoying over other high rated commodities like Gold.

Will the money in trillion of Dollars be shifted to Bitcoin from Gold in future making the later less redundancy or the two are not competitive to each other? Why is always the question which one is better to HOLD (Bitcoin or Gold). What is the danger of HOLDING the two? Can one outsmart the other in the near future, I am just keen to know due to a lot of argument around these two commodities.

I am of the opinion that the two are here to stay and I am in serious doubt that one will bow to another but what did you think. Kindly correct me with facts.

Thank you
