For example cryptsy right now has withdrawals pending for over two weeks so do to the scare the price of alts have shot up on the marketplace because people are trying to withdraw.

3  Bitcoin / Mining support / avalon mini on: March 27, 2014, 02:18:11 AM

4  Economy / Computer hardware / BUYING ALL AVALON & BUTTERFLY LABS MINERS on: March 18, 2014, 09:02:04 PM
Looking to get back into mining alt coins with the hope of them being worth something in the future. I will buy all avalon and butterfly lab miners. The difficulty of bitcoin is shooting up drastically and will increase even more when kncminer drops more mining power. I want 10+ avalon or bfl miners to create a alt coin mining farm. I'm only willing to pay what your miner can make in one month. For example if you have a 5gh miner, I'll pay 11usd in btw (0.0177btc). If you think this is a rip, simply don't comment and waste your time. The prices of hardware on ebay are insanely too high. This offer is good for people that are ready to get out of mining.

Rules for purchasing miners:
1. Shipping is paid by you
2. All cords and power source must come with miners
3. All payments for miners are paid in bitcoin with escrow (escrow will be paid by me to an agreed upon escrow service. Hero members with trust will be paid upfront without escrow.)
4. If miners do not work properly your units will be sent back WITH TRACKING and escrow will be canceled with units arrive. (don't try to sell me any broken hardware so we can avoid this. I'm not interested in anyyy broken hardware whatsoever)
5. Units must be shipped the next day after purchase WITH tracking.

Please comment below if interested. I would like to keep everything as public as possible. If you have a large number of miners or a deal you would like to discuss in private feel free to pm. Only avalon and bfl miners please.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin endangered b/c of quantum computers on: January 05, 2014, 11:51:50 PM
Everyone keeps discussing bitcoin being endangered bc of quantum computers but wouldnt scrypt coins be in more danger like litecoin? A quantum computer would consist of a lot of cpu/gpu power.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Anyone wanting their own altcoin on: January 02, 2014, 10:33:18 PM
I can create sha256 coins for anyone that wants a coin made. I will build it from head to toe including the qt. No I don't make scrypt coins due to the long process it takes to compile the coin (its different from sha256). We can discuss a price later. Coins are built and finished then paid for so there are no issues. Thanks (message me, no comments please. Helps keep everything organized)

Also I can build you a 24/7 addnode and blockcrawler for an extra fee
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / To people creating an alt coin but having trouble compiling/making qt wallet on: December 20, 2013, 03:04:12 PM
Overwhelmed with the amount of people needing help! Need to finish these projects before I take on anything else, thanks. If you have started to create a coin  but you're stuck on the last two parts which are compiling the coin to get the merkle hash, genesis block, etc, and making the wallet qt, you can tip me and I can have it done it an hour or less. It really is quite simple. Prior to giving me your source code, you need to make sure you did everything right and changed the proper files b/c I will not scan through your source to see what you error was If I get an error while compiling. All work will be done and sent before pay just to insure trust. Comment or preferably pm, thanks.

This guy posted about making coins here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=364076.msg4051729#msg4051729 and said he wanted a UTC coin created. I created it all yesterday in 2 hours or less for the fun of it.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / plot twist... on: December 20, 2013, 05:01:47 AM
plot twist... doge coin was created by the owner of cryptsy in order for him to get rich and get out of dodge of all the shit coming his way.. Cheesy
But really, whats holding back the owners of large exchanges from creating their own coin, listing it on their exchange, and making another account to buy the coin they created so its like a massive pump plus all the money they use to buy the coin goes right back to them? I hoping their morals are whats holding them back Wink
11  Economy / Services / Paying a phone bill with btc on: December 18, 2013, 05:58:24 PM
Anyone know where I could buy a prepaid card like this http://www.pinzoo.com/wireless-refill-minutes/simple-mobile-prepaid-airtime-cards/simplemo-40pin/ to pay a phone bill? Are there any legit websites or people offering this service?

Edit: going to move this to the services section instead of discussion!
12  Bitcoin / Mining / Question about mining with servers on: December 16, 2013, 11:05:09 PM
I've heard of people renting servers to mine bitcoin and other alt coins. I know that mining bitcoin with most servers will definitely be unprofitable. Does anyone know how exactly to go about using a server to mine? What company would you recommend using? And would this even be profitable in the long run? I would most likely use it to mine some type of scrypt coin and convert it to btc.
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Contacting Ross U on: December 14, 2013, 03:56:10 AM
I added Ross on Facebook  a few weeks ago and it's currently ran by his family. Yes it is his official Facebook and you can take a look at it to verify. I've been keeping up with the case through his Facebook and I also added his mom just to see what she is saying about the situation. Anyways this was posted yesterday and I figured I would share it with anyone that would like to help.

Edit: feel free to direct this to the right section, I had no idea where to put it.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / making your own alt coin on: December 03, 2013, 03:36:51 AM
I'm making my own alt coin for my final project for class. (the coin wont be able to be mined or released to the public). I know how to create the coin and make my qt wallet but I have no clue how to create the genesis block and compile the coin and that is the last step of making a coin. If anyone can help me I will tip them. Ive already given the maker of Un coin over .5 btc for his help but he does not go into enough detail with his work leaving me confused. I will tip a decent amount due that this is for a very important project that I must complete by Friday. I had the maker of Un compile my coin for me so that my project is pretty much done but  I still will need to know how so I can explain. Btw I'm on a windows computer. Please do not take on the job if you can't go into full detail about what you are doing. I do not need another video of someone just building the coin but giving me little information on whats going on.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Does Satoshi hold any power? on: November 29, 2013, 01:09:41 AM
Warning... the following questions are probably stupid but I'm curious.  Grin

Since Satoshi made btc does he know how to turn a btc address into a private key?

Does Satoshi have the power to rescue lost bitcoin?

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Whats "backing" bitcoin? on: November 28, 2013, 04:23:10 PM
I get this question almost everyday... But in reality, what is backing the US dollar? Whats backing Gold? Whats backing Silver?? Everything I listed is backed by the people... Nobody would invest in Gold if it didn't have value, nobody would buy diamonds if they didn't have value, nobody would buy silver coins if they didnt have value. We give everything value. As long as the people continue to believe in BTC (why would you not?! Huh Cool ) it will remain a booming currency. I would like to see btc level out at a price b/c this would allow people to have more trust in the currency when putting money into it. But I have a few questions. What do you think about btc future? What would be an ideal level price for btc? And is anything really backing USD, Gold, Silver? or is it just the believe that we instill in it?
17  Economy / Auctions / having trouble ordering a Neptune? Get my account on: November 28, 2013, 02:47:48 PM
KnCMiner offers preorders of the Neptune currently only to past members. You can not just register today to pay for a Neptune preorder. Sadly I have 0 of the funds needed to purchase a Neptune plus I tend to stay away from preorders. I'm auctioning my account off to anyone that is trying to preorder a Neptune but can't due to not having an account in the pass. I will do the transaction in full escrow if wanted, that is totally up to you but all fees are paid by you. I currently have one person interested that has contacted me via pm so if that goes through I do reserve to right to cancel.

Starting bid is 0.1btc
Please bid in increments of 0.05btc

P.S before handing the account over my name, email, phone number, and password will all be changed and upon receiving the account I ask that you change this information immediately so there are no problems down the road.
18  Economy / Gambling / a fun possible game on: November 27, 2013, 06:02:11 AM
Ive had this idea for a while and I feel like a member with a lot of trust and rep in the community could have success running this. (I would do it myself but being only a full member doesn't allow me to). Basically everyday one litecoin/bitcoin address is assigned and labeled as the pot. Also a sending amount will be stated for both the litecoin and bitcoin pot. At the end of 24 hours the trusted member in charge takes all the bitcoin and litecoin addresses that sent the correct amount (sending amount) to the pot and draws one lucky winner. The trusted member running this should receive 5-8% of the pot and the rest goes to the lucky winner whose address is drawn. Tickets should be drawn depending on the date to add extra randomness. Meaning since today is the 27th, the machine will draw for a number 27times and the 27th number it picks is the winner.

Rules:
-Must send pot sending amount (no smaller nor larger)
-Must send from a btc/ltc address that is able to send and receive from one assigned address
-If you want to buy more than one "ticket" you must send it one by one

This is any easy and exciting way to possibly win btc and ltc. I would encourage making the sending amount for the first few games small just to build up trust and stuff since it is a new game. If a trusted member decides to do this please comment or message me! I would love to participate
19  Other / Meta / Rules for being promoted on the forums. Full member, hero member, etc... on: November 27, 2013, 04:54:12 AM
Can someone post the rules for promotion on here? Starting with newbie all the way to hero member please. I'm sure I'm not the only one curious about this!
