22  Economy / Scam Accusations / be careful with that project [Silvering (SLVG)] on: June 27, 2020, 03:17:55 PM
I don't know if it might be appropriate to put this in that section, given the fact that there are a lot of red flags I am going to put here.

ANN Thread:  [ANN] Silvering (SLVG) token - New Silver Asset Backed Cryptocurrency ( archive )

Profile: @AltcoinNForum

Site: https://www.silvering.biz (archive)

Red flags:

1 - On the website there are no members of the team, but on the whitepaper there is only 1 member of the team, who is the founder of the project.

About the founder I found the following:

it looks like he was very active on fiverr.com

archive

2 - The site is very strange, it looks like the founder asked someone from fiverr to make the site

3 - They do not show photos and videos of the physical office... according to their website:

CONTACTS

Adress:
2232 Dell Range Blvd.
Suite 245 Cheyenne,
WY 82009
USA

Phone:
Mobile: +43 720 775 378
Mail: office@silvering.biz

when I search on Google Maps I find this:

4 - they do not show photos and videos of the silver that they have and where they are kept

5 - There is no credible company that has audited

23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What future is expected for new altcoins? on: June 17, 2020, 08:46:56 AM
do you think new altcoins will have a good future?

What do you expect from the new altcoins?

today i took the time to see some projects and found some things that made me think: What future can we expect from new altcoins?

to get an idea I found these projects:

Banana Bomb

Banana Bomb is a Deflationary/Reward Token with a Destruction rate of 3.5%. This means the total supply decreases with each transaction. Reward Rate of 3.5%, it means 3.5% of every transaction is sent to a reward wallet. These reward tokens are then distributed to a randomly generated number of users every month.

https://www.bitcoin-monkey.com/banana-bomb

I didn't see any team member

satoshivisioncoin

GLOBAL P2P PAYMENT SYSTEM

SVC is a token for P2P transactions. Our vision is Satoshi Vision use SVC as BTC. SVC is alternative to Bitcoin.

https://satoshivisioncoin.com/

I didn't see any team member

it looks like a project to steal people's money

moneytoken

A decentralized ETHEREUM based Network

https://moneytoken.xyz/

I didn't see any team member

it looks like a project to steal people's money

I could put more other projects, but for now I think that with these projects that I put in, we can have a good discussion about which way we are going
24  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SCAM ] www.thedashtrade.com on: June 08, 2020, 09:53:19 AM

today this user @soffan posted this site: www.thedashtrade.com (archive)

Hi there everyone!

I'm a newbie with bitcoin and just recently started getting into it. I just came across a broker on www.thedashtrade.com and I was wondering if it's really legit?

I can't see any discussions here about it and when you google the dash trade they don't even show up in the search results which I think is a bit strange since they claim to have been around since 2010.

Any input would be highly appreciated!

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bloomberg: Only a Matter of Time Before Tether Overtakes Ether as #2 on: June 05, 2020, 04:21:37 PM

Bloomberg: Only a Matter of Time Before Tether Overtakes Ether as #2

I took screenshot to make it more interesting:

1 - BTC

2 - ETH

3 - Tether

4 -( still in the race, but I highly doubt that in the future it will remain in the TOP 3 )

5 - BCH ( from what I see this out of the race )

6 - BSV ( also from what I see this out of the race )

according to Bloomberg Ether lives in Bitcoin’s shadow:

“We see little upside in the ETH price absent a rising tide from Bitcoin. The pre-eminent crypto is breaking away from the pack in terms of adoption and is supported by almost-ideal macroeconomic conditions for stores-of-value amid quantitative easing.”

In the ETH Thread, people are focused on knowing when they will see Ethereum 2.0, do you think the salvation for ETH from losing second place is Ethereum 2.0? and who arrived first:

1 - Ethereum 2.0

2 - Tether reach second place in coinmarketcap?

What altcoin do you think will be in the Top 10 by December next year?

last question: do you think Ether lives in Bitcoin’s shadow?
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / ‘Bitcoin and Black America’ Author: Protest by Buying BTC on: June 05, 2020, 10:18:53 AM
This is a controversial topic in my opinion:

‘Bitcoin and Black America’ Author: Protest by Buying BTC

https://twitter.com/bitcoinzay/status/1267131490627878918

- are they not transforming the protests into problem that should not be discussed at this time?

- are they not using bitcoin to join the fight against racism?

it will be something like these:

are they good for bitcoin?

I do not know the USA and I do not know what the injustice of blacks in the USA should be like, but in my country racism has been overcome a few years ago, of course it has one focus and the other, but it is not something alarming and the banking system is for all people of my country regardless of skin color

27  Economy / Speculation / Bloomberg: “Bitcoin will approach record high of about $20,000 this year” on: June 04, 2020, 05:21:51 PM
When the price starts to rise, many analysts appear making optimistic forecasts, this time we have the Bloomberg:

Bloomberg: “Bitcoin will approach record high of about $20,000 this year”

“Last year, the high was about $14,000, which would translate into almost double in 2020 if rotating within the recent band, and mean little in the big picture.”

do you think the article's arguments are solid arguments?

according to the article Mr Tether will be able to enter the scene again and will cause the price to increase a lot:

According to the report, another major reason for the appreciation of Bitcoin is the rapid growth of Tether (USDT). Last May, its market cap stood at $4 billion. A year later, it expanded to $10 billion. The increase in the circulation of the stablecoin indicates greater adoption of crypto assets

What do you think? are you ready to see $20,000 this year or do you think that even with miracles operated by Mr tether the price will not reach  $20,000 this year?

PS:

Mr tether just passed XRP:

Who knows in the future we will see Mr Tether in second place Grin
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / ‘No Message Was Signed’: Craig Wright Refutes Tulip Trust Fabrication on: June 04, 2020, 12:31:13 PM
Yes, Faketoshi returns to attract attention to the crypto world:

No Message Was Signed’: Craig Wright Refutes Tulip Trust Fabrication

Craig Wright maintains that he alone has access to the ‘Satoshi’ Bitcoin addresses filed in court, despite a message apparently signed by 145 of the addresses calling him “a liar and a fraud”.

Wright says anyone that thinks his credibility is now in tatters as a result “doesn’t understand digital signatures at all”.

When we watch a movie, no matter how good the movie is, we always know that the movie will come to an end, we just wonder what the end of the movie will be like: "we are curious if the movie will have a good ending or not". In the case of Faketoshi I don't know if this story will ever end, I wonder if the real satoshi reads these news and how will the reaction of the real satoshi be?

30  Economy / Scam Accusations / Beware of SHAHIN MEDICAL on: May 31, 2020, 01:47:00 PM
ANN Thread:  SHAHIN MEDICAL ( archive )

                                                                                                                Supporting medical products

                                                                                                                       Website
_______________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________

                                                                                                                https://shaheenfaucet.xyz

here are the reasons why I think people should be careful with this project:

1 - The site has a domain name that looks like it was created for the purpose of being a faucet: https://shaheenfaucet.xyz

2 - the XYZ domain does not appear to be any good for a website related to medical equipment

3 - I didn’t see a license or didn’t see them talking about who are the suppliers of medical equipment. In my country for example they ask for a license for any company that wants to sell medical equipment and I think that in other countries they do the same thing

4 - Team members hide their faces

5 - The whitepaper is very simple and does not contain relevant details about the project, it only talks about regulations and loss of Tokens. In short they wrote many things about technical things related to ETH, bitcoin and regulations, but did not say anything about the project

https://shaheenfaucet.xyz/pdfFiles/TokenRisks.pdf

6 - this is the store where they will sell the medical equipment: https://shaheenfaucet.xyz/Store.html ( archive ) in my opinion it does not seem to me that it is done seriously. we are talking about the medical sector, a very sensitive sector where governments are strict

32  Economy / Scam Accusations / be careful with https://colfars.com because it is a ponzi scheme on: May 19, 2020, 11:30:36 AM

be careful with https://colfars.com because it is a ponzi scheme

Today I was surfing the internet I came across a forum where they were talking about this site: https://colfars.com

according to the people on the forum the site Is cloud mining (I still wonder What is happening with the world that people are too lazy to go on google to research what is cloud mining and what is a hyip site ), Well, I was curious and went to the site and saw this:

I thought:

If a person invests 20 $ in just 10 days the person recovers their money and in just 20 days the person will have twice the money. That would be the golden El for anyone in the world and of course any government and any millionaire would not fail to invest in that golden El. But then I thought, no one will believe this scheme, maybe some people might even fall for it, but there won't be many people. then I saw this:

maybe these numbers are all fake, so I went to search on youtube about this site and see the result:

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=colfars.com

I was shocked because they (colfars.com) attracted a lot of attention and that's why I decided to create this thread to alert people.

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why we have slow steps about convincing governments to accept bitcoin? on: February 21, 2020, 06:24:48 PM
today I read this shocking news:

Binance is not authorized to operate in malta financial regulator says

This means that the history of Malta being friendly with cryptos is far from being true, that is, we are still walking very slowly in relation to convincing governments to accept bitcoin. I wonder how this story will end?

Bitcoin price may hit 27k all time high by summer predicts Tom Lee

“That’s a big deal as you know, as anyone who’s a trend follower knows — when you’re back above your 200-day, you’re back in a bull market. Whenever Bitcoin breaks back into its 200-day, its average six-month gain is 197%.”

If everyone remembers, last year he made a price forecast that was nowhere near certain. in 2018 he also made a price prediction that went wrong. The question is:

- how will it be this time, he will right or not?

35  Economy / Speculation / 2020 price predictions on: January 26, 2020, 10:45:10 AM

Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream: " I have previously commented that I thought $250,000 to $500,000 would be plausible in the longer term. I think there is a good prospect of exceeding the previous all-time high of $20,000 in 2020, as the effects of the halving and technology fundamentals come to bear, perhaps reaching as high as $100,000. "

Marc P. Bernegger, Fintech investor at Crypto Finance: " Min: $22,000 and Max: $55,000 "

Alejandro De La Torre, Vice president at Poolin: "  Min: $5,000 and Max: $14,000 "

Arthur Hayes, CEO of BitMEX: " Min: $3,000 and Max: $20,000  "

Ivan on Tech, YouTube influencer: " Min: $3,400 and Max: $200,000 "

How much losses people who bought Bitcoin SV have?

Why people still believe in Bitcoin SV?

This may have been a joke, but if everyone follows the bitcoin-related news channels they must have read a lot of price forecasts made in 2019 that didn't come true. For this year we have Bitcoin halving in May (for those who want to follow this event: https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com). What is the most realistic price bitcoin can reach for this year? I will be the first to forecast:

In my opinion the price will reach $15000 this year
