1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Bitcoin Core Sending to same address multiple entry on: November 10, 2017, 11:06:05 AM
Hi,

Has anyone ever try to send BTC using Bitcoin Core Client using multiple entry (add recipient in the send tab)
but sending it to the same address ?

will it go through as separate payment?
or
will it combine the amount and send it as one entry?
or
one of them will gone with the wind and lost in space?

Thanks.

UPDATE:
sorry, I just realised that you cannot send using same address.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Tx fee for cryptocurrency on: May 30, 2017, 07:47:16 AM
Hi guys,

I remember when the first cryptocurrency launch, be it bitcoin or other altcoin, they promoted that the transaction fee is close to nothing, which is true because the value of it is only $1 or below.

Even it reach $100, it is still close to nothing. 0.001 x $100 = 10 cent / kb

My question is, let say one day the value of bitcoin or any other altcoin reach $100,000/coin (optimistic) then the tx fee will be $100/kb. Isn't it a bit too high?
or there will be a reduction in tx fee let say it will become 0.00001 or 0.xxxx to match the value of the coin?

Thanks
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / linux bitcoind and bitcoind -daemon on: April 12, 2016, 01:53:17 AM
sorry for this noob question.

1. When running bitcoind on Linux. what is the difference between just "bitcoind" and "bitcoind -daemon"

2. I try just "bitcoind" and it seems it load forever and I dunno whether it runs or not. so I press Ctrl + C to stop it.
does it stay in the background?
