2  Economy / Services / $2 million asic purchase on: December 12, 2017, 10:02:39 AM
Hi,

I have investors with $2 million they would like to spend on ASIC machines. Does anyone have any contact from sales in Bitmain or Bitfury? Or any other company that would be interested in this OTC trade.

Thanks

Just bought a plane tickets online, from third world country, without a credit card bank account.

This isn't about the best offer, for some it's the only one.
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / ASIC manufacturers sales model on: November 06, 2013, 06:05:01 PM
Does anyone have a clue why all of the asic companies are keeping prices as they are now, where's the business case there?

Both KNC 28nm and BitFury 55nm are under negative business case as mining investments at current offers and difficulty if you invest btc. Either this is the end of profit opportunities in mining or the price of btc is ridiculously cheap at the moment, or perhaps we're heading for a diff correction of about 20-40%.

7  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Distributed infrastructure of bitcoin exchange hosting layer API on: April 17, 2013, 05:52:43 PM
Network is soon going to be 1 exaflop. Crowd-sourced infrastructure proved that it has no viable competitor in the world of supercomputers.

Was there ever an initiative to add one layer onto the whole network which could carry the load of all arbitrage on the market? Part of miner's CPU, RAM and bandwith resources could serve as a distributed cloud hosting service for exchange sites  since all of them are unavailable during manic/panic phases. Perhaps there is no other solution since it's not just up to the exchange sites to buy more servers, even fb or yt drag and timeout on high traffic. Exchange sites could communicate through the API which could be mix of some open source web server and bitcoin-like mining reward system.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Lost my bitcoins after upgrade to 0.8 wallet on: March 21, 2013, 02:59:19 PM
Hello,

Yesterday after upgrade, one of my wallets was emptied. 9btcs were lost. I have noticed that the number of transactions that were there before were reduced from 450 to 220 and that some of transactions we're doubled? The ones that went to satoshidice.

Wallet wasn't encrypted, I know were I went wrong, but I'm just wondering what happened? I'm willing to submit reports of double transactions.

Thanks beforehand.
