2  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Bitmain R1 - When is the chip going to be upgraded on: July 29, 2016, 05:37:55 PM
The R1 currently has the 1384 chip (I believe?)

When will the R2 with the 1385 chip? (The S7 chip)

And / Or will the R3 with the 1387 chip? (The S9 chip)

I really wanna get on board with the IOT's in the bitcoin arena but the R1 just doesnt cut the mustard whatever way i work it.

& the only other machine out there, The 21 Computer is still priced a little to high...

When will bitmain release the R3 (1387 chip) in the router??

7  Bitcoin / Mining support / Bitcoin Community Voting! on: December 29, 2015, 11:49:42 AM
Ck or whoever else is admining please excuse me as i didn't know where to put this so i hope here suits...

Why is the voting on what happened to being built in to the Bitcoin Core Wallet.

Voting about what bitcoin does should be put to the core users at least...

We don't want nor need our pools making decisions for us so a vote feature plus a link to an explanation of what we are voting for..

And a cut off date for voting...

Anyone else think this??

10  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / 21.co bitcoin computer! on: November 19, 2015, 02:16:07 PM
Have i misread something about the bitcoin computer??

I originally saw specs for a 100 - 120gh miner running at 0.15w per gh meaning total watts used would be 15w

I saw comments on amazon that people were only getting 50gh max & its still running at 15w, This makes spec 0.3w per gh..

Can someone clear this up for me??

Or is 21.co stealing 50gh off the backend for itself??
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Looking For Australian In NSW with Free Power (Prefer legit Solar) on: July 30, 2015, 12:49:25 PM
I have a C1 Bitmain 1TH miner & a S4 Bitmain 2TH miner & live in Sydney

I believe that solar returns thru government tariffs have slipped to 0.20 per KW & was wondering if someone could supply a home (Business preferably cause of the noise)  would they like to split the returns of 3Th with me?

I will come & install & remote monitor the 2 machines all u need is an always on internet connection, Somewhere to house them & solar power so we arent going to eat into your bill (This would totally negate what i wanted to do here using electricity)

As a token of good faith in this if the machines are still running & ur still happy with the agreement after 2 years i would be willing to donate u the machines free of charge to keep...

I figure i'll have new machines by then anyway... Let me know if anyone is interested??

13  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Question about pools? on: July 11, 2015, 08:57:23 PM
Hi all...

I hope im not wasting anyones time with a question like this asked before...

I just wanted to know is it possible for a small mining pool, instead of pointing to its own wallet to mine, Is it possible to point all the mining power from there pool to another pool (Mypool ---> to F2pool) to bring up there stats

& also if they stated they paid less than f2pool that they could keep the difference?

I highly doubt this happens or has happened i just wanted to know, was it possible???
14  Economy / Speculation / Price Surge! $260 to $293 on: July 11, 2015, 12:41:05 AM

15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Bitmain S4 Hacking, Mods, Underclocking, Undervolting on: June 26, 2015, 12:22:10 PM
Show us what u got??

Trying to find a good list of all if any mods for the S4 that are out there??

No one seems to have done this??

Ill put one in for those who didn't know...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Undervolting or Overvolting is only available with the October 16th firmware

The best underclock or undervolt i have seen out there is

Freq 175mhz

Volt 0700

For 1085w from the wall & hashing at 1754gh...

Another is

Freq 162.5

Volt 0670

For 1500gh at 1000watts

Another is

Freq 175

Volt 0680

Unsure of watts hashing at unknown gh

Another is

Freq 187.5

Volt 0720

Gives 1800gh at unknown watts

Another is

Freq 187

Volt 0700

Gives unknown gh at unknown watts

I will try these myself with a kill o watt shortly

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overclock

Freq 218.45

Volt 0745

For 2200gh @ unknown watts at the wall

Another

Freq 212.5

Volt 0740 or 0745 ur choice for stability

Gets 2150gh @ unknown watts at the wall.

WARNING WARNING WARNING

I would not suggest any overclocking using a stock bitmain PSU

IBM DPS-2000bb @ 2000watts will give u a clean punch of power to suit overclocking

Anyone else care to share??
16  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Bitmain Underclocking! on: June 24, 2015, 06:20:32 PM
On another note how about building the biggest miner u can but undervolted???

Think about this for a minute cause i dont want u to say fuck we will just boost the power & overclock it...

Think about this... (This is what bitmains S4 was based on so im using there data)

If a S4 could run 40 chips (As it does) and downclock to 0.60v or 0.48 w/g on wall

and achieve 1000gh (1th) 481w on the wall.

Then u could achieve a 3024gh (3th) miner running at 1443w at the wall....

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey bitmain if u have so many BM1382 asics left over here's an idea!

18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Bitmain S4 running 3 pools in balanced mode on: June 15, 2015, 07:39:39 AM
Ok so i have a problem...

My miner is telling me i found a block but i'm running 3 pools in balanced mode so i dont know what pool i hit the block on.

Is there anyway i can find out if what pool i hit the block on??

Like any logs hidden in the miner?
19  Bitcoin / Mining support / Mulit Pool Mining Bitmain C1 Or S4 on: June 06, 2015, 03:24:50 PM
When i had a S3 bitmain miner i was able to split my miner to run on up to 3 pools at one by making the miner split the hash power either on 1st pool first, dividing the power across 3 pools or4 using on a round robin.

Is there anyway to set this up on a C1 or a S4

I wanna be able to split my mining power across 3 pools at once...

Is this possible??

Thanks in advance
