41  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Lancelot on: February 05, 2013, 08:58:54 AM
Want to buy one working Lancelot, original documentation & accessories.  Public bid style.

To assure consideration, submit your [edit] combined entry fee and [/edit] bid by 2013-02-09 06:00:00 according to the transaction time-stamp,
e.g., https://blockchain.info/address/1PRLQuMjk7rR2zW1X3X8kCWHofmkStGzT4 shows 2013-02-05 03:38:34

I may or may not extend the deadline at my discretion.

I will buy from the lowest bid submitted by the (extended) deadline.  The Lancelot is to arrive in Morris, MN 56267 by Feb. 19.  You pay shipping & handling & all expenses to make it so.

If the lowest bid exceeds funds now at 1PRLQuMjk7rR2zW1X3X8kCWHofmkStGzT4, I may declare a failed auction or deposit more funds at my discretion.  I will not return any bids.

I will identify the winning bid by paying approximately 0.05 BTC to the winning address.

Late penalty of 20% per day.  Payment released 24 hours after delivery.

To place bid, pay 0.01 X your price to 1PRLQuMjk7rR2zW1X3X8kCWHofmkStGzT4
For example, to bid 15 BTC, pay 0.15 BTC ($3.00 or so)

Post the tracking URL as evidence of shipping and arrival in Morris.  Payment released after receipt of Lancelot.  I will send payment from 1PRLQuMjk7rR2zW1X3X8kCWHofmkStGzT4 to the address that submits the successful bid.

The winning bidder has 2 business days to post the tracking information, otherwise I reserve the right to offer the sale to the next highest bidder.

Escrow is possible, suggest details.

42  Economy / Lending / Consortium to buy Avalon ASIC on: February 02, 2013, 08:56:32 PM
Do you want your own an Avalon but are a little short?  I have a deal for that.

1.  It is -2°F outside right now.  Waste heat is valuable.  It will be cool until May or so.
2.  There is a pay address for a consortium:  17Pq8oPtk8rikxZhF1wENFqR9YtDyLyr8E
3.  Send BTC to that address.  I'll buy integer units while I can, first signed, first ordered.  Be generous with miner fees, if you are so inclined.
4.  After integer number of Avalons have been purchased, there may be funds left over.  I will choose whether to add my own funds for an additional Avalon purchase, or to return them to you within 48 hours, no interest.
5.  For each Avalon ASIC purchased, I own 10%, the other 90% is pro-rated among the accounts that paid in.
6.  I will deduct electricity cost off the top, using the agreed figure for consumption and the cost from my electric bill, highest tier paid first.
7.  I will split the net Bitcoins.  This will be approximately each month, the exact date is not specified.  If it is important, we can specify it in forthcoming discussion.

43  Economy / Lending / Seek Loan for Avalon ASIC batch 2 on: February 02, 2013, 08:36:25 PM
I have USD in my bank.  I don't want to use PayPal to buy Bitcoin, because it is against the rules.

I want in on the batch 2 Avalon ASIC.  It is not feasible to wire transfer money today.  I think I have to go through Aurum, and I only now opened an account.  It will require a document review and delay.  It won't work.

I was expressing sadness and my wife said "Honey, just use western union."  Well, she really used other words.  I love a smart red-head.

Western Union is a two hour round trip drive away, I am in a small town in the boonies, 56267, and it is, ahem, winter outside.

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Morris&state=MN&site=MPX&lat=45.5859&lon=-95.9053

So I have some questions:

1.  Does it violate any of Western Union's terms if I wire USD for the purpose of purchasing BTC?
2.  Will anyone lend me substantial BTC for, say, 48 or 72 hours?
3.  The address for this loan is 12v797D55bBBBgFMcWUfRzzFWAcHxYdYzg
4.  I understand all of us can look for activity on that address at http://blockchain.info, so this is very transparent.
5.  I want total BTC funds to translate to $1,750, so that I don't run short from some surprise.
6.  I'll repay $17.50 interest in USD through Western Union next week, prorated.

I'm visible on Google.  Aubrey McIntosh.  Review & decide.
