1  Other / MultiBit / Multibit has 2 transactions not found on blockchain for 0.00000001. Worried? on: February 16, 2014, 08:49:51 PM
Multibit has two random transactions in one of my wallets, seen by 4 peers but unconfirmed, is not found on block chain, and happened at the exact same minute on Feb 15.

When I hit transaction details nothing comes up, and when I say view on blockchain it says transaction doesn't exist, or none found.

Both are for 0.00000001, is very odd.

Do I have anything to worry about security wise? Or should I just continue ignoring this?

Screencap added.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 3rd GPU not recognized by windows. on: January 08, 2014, 09:18:00 PM
I have 2 5870's installed. Put them both in perfect. Have a dummy plug in one, works great, is recognized by windows and hashes just fine.

Got a third card, same 5870. Put it in, when i turned on windows it said installing new hardware thing. It said complete. Boom only the first two are recognized.

The riser works, It is 18 inches long, it is 16x, and I tried it in another card with two cards and it works fine. I have a dummy plug in the new card as well.

I read something about windows only recognizing two legacy drivers. Can I only use this dummy plug for one of the cards. Or should I just dump all this and try linux.

I am getting frustrated. Anything would help.
3  Economy / Lending / Looking for a 1.2 bitcoin loan. Will pay back 1.5 bitcoin. (1 week loan) on: October 26, 2013, 07:56:27 PM
Hey guys,

Thanks!! Feel free to PM!
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Paypal is on my side!! *Chargeback Happy Ending* on: September 24, 2013, 05:39:45 PM
So after hearing all the horror stories on here about paypal chargebacks, it is nice to finally have a happy ending story, so I figured I would share.

Someone (who I thought was my friend) I sold some bitcoins to a couple of months ago via paypal. The only transaction in my 2 years of using bitcoins, I have ever done with paypal, mind you. I have heard countless horror stories, so I always avoided it.

So knowing all this beforehand, just to be safe, I sold my friend a PDF file, via email and kept all the receipts and proof of shipping through email. Legitimate sale, and I have known this person for quite sometime so never though in a million years when I check my email this morning, I have a chargeback case. (Sigh Humanity  Sad )

Immediately I upload all the proof of payment, including the actual email, and call Paypal. Paypal puts me on hold and when I get back from the call not only am I informed that they are going to fight for me, but I am going to be reimbursed immediately for the chargeback, using a one time exemption, because of my years with paypal and my outstanding proof. So in literally 2 hours, I have my money back, and will notified with the case resolution regardless.

Either way it is a win-win for me, and I have to say being a loyal customer, (and the internet savant that I am  Tongue ) never felt so good.

Sorry for the tirade, just wanted to share a positive story after all the years of horrible ones people have had getting chargebacked.

Happy trails bitcoiners, and remember stay away from Paypal (for Bitcoins)!!  Cool
5  Economy / Services / Are you a writer and/or blogger and want to earn some bitcoin? I need your help! on: August 15, 2013, 06:02:50 PM
I am creating a blog and need some articles from some free thinking individuals. I thought my friends in the bitcoin community might be a good place to look first!!

Details:

About the Blog: An Unbiased News Resource, that discusses things in culture today, from sports, business, weather, politics, world, almost anything that can provide both sides of an argument/debate on an issue (Pro/Con). MUST BE COMPLETELY UNBIASED!!

Following the article there is an 'opinion' section where the author gives his own take on the subject. Below users can comment and put in their 2cents as well.

What I need: 10 Articles. 300 words at least for each with an additional 50 word minimum opinion section.

Pay: .05 BTC Per article, Max 2 articles per person.

How do I qualify: It's Simple. If you are a writer, and are capable of this, send me a message on the topic/s you want to write about first. If I approve of the topic, write it up, send it to me, and I will immediately send the payment. The articles have to follow the criteria (see What I Need) but beside that as long as it is pretty much legible, I am going to accept if I approved your subject. However, the better it is, the more work and better pay I may/probably will PM you for though!!

Are you really going to pay me? Absolutely, I know it sounds too good to be true, but I really just need some additional noggins on the subject; I can't write everything myself. I am an active member on the forum and have had all successful trades on bitcointalk.com (Check Sig)

Disclaimer: After payment is sent, transfer of ownership of the article is given to myself, and content is owned by my blog and may be edited and/or changed.

If you are okay with everything, PM me if interested, and try to only reply in the thread if you have a question. Thanks Guys!!

8  Other / Off-topic / Getting back into coding, still kind of a newbie... Buzzfeed.com? on: June 28, 2013, 07:23:29 PM
Just recently resigned up at https://teamtreehouse.com/ (If you want my referral link feel free to PM Grin)

And I wizzed through the css html and jquery, they have awesome courses btw. Going on to other languages I am working on my own website along the way.

Everything is going well, I just would like to know what a website like buzzfeed.com or any other of those blog news funny websites are written in. It can't just be wordpress, although I know some parts of buzzfeed has themes.

Any coders out there that know the type of languages used. I know it's the kind where writers on the staff log in, write articles, and then it gets posted. (The updates are so quick and they have such a big staff)

But I am going for a similar/not so similar thing. So any vets have any idea what languages they use beside the obv html, css, php. Or the kind of software to enable that website to update so fast.

Tl:Dr; What programming language is Buzzfeed.com written in.

P.S. I think this is the right board  Tongue

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Can we PLEASE stop spamming ebay with Alt-Coins? on: June 07, 2013, 02:52:31 AM
No one is buying them, no one wants them there, and it's going to just make it tougher to sell anything coin/mining/bit related period.

Seriously, from like 2 litecoin listings to literally 300 alt-coin sellings in maybe a month and a half. No one even wants them on BTC-e, and no one wants them on eBay.

Such Absurdity.....
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Does anyone else hate Dwolla? on: June 02, 2013, 07:27:09 PM
I think that Dwolla might be the worst run intermediary source of routing funds I have ever seen or used in my life. I literally have used it twice; once for bitcoins and once for something else. Both times took forever to get payment and send payment (after being verified etc.,). Customer service is the slowest in the world, and their website looks like a copied template from any of those javascript websites, Stock Photo galore.

Contrary to the title, does anyone actually LIKE this service or before payment freezing had a good experience? Just curious.

13  Economy / Service Discussion / How many bitcoins to I have to buy for CoinLabs to reply? on: June 02, 2013, 02:33:42 AM
I sent a request for 5 the other day and no one ever contacted me. Do they only take large orders. I know they are reliable, AND registered with Fincen in the U.S. Both things I like since my OKPAY is going away forever pretty much : ((.

What are your experiences? Do I have to just wait for them to respond or is there an email. I sent the request like 2 weeks ago.

Thanks!!
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Moved: ASIC Miners. I have questions and google will not help me out. on: May 28, 2013, 01:58:57 AM
1.) Is this an actual thing with regular payouts or is it for the future development of asic?

2.) Is there a website where I can log in and check my activity if I buy shares.

3.) Does the payout get routed right to my BTC address of choice.

4.) How do I know I have "ownership" or ownership has been "transferred"

5.) Is there any website, database, or any other form I check on the status and performance of ASIC miner? Or is it all just done on a server, and sent to BTC address and it is performed by the ASIC.

Please no linked sticky response, I have read them all.  I really just cannot figure it out for the life of me. Anyone with specifics, even a quick answer to one would be beneficial!!

Thanks Guys!!

17  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitaddress.org security. Top Notch? on: April 15, 2013, 05:30:26 AM
I have been into making paper wallets on my own for a while never used a javascript or web based one. I am sure this is a silly question but bitaddress.org been around for a while, pretty secure I assume. Like make paper wallet, no logs etc.,

Any positive experiences would be great!!
18  Other / Beginners & Help / If you place an order on the casacius website how long does it take? on: April 09, 2013, 08:22:50 PM

19  Bitcoin / Mining / Newbie mining question. How are all these motherboards linked? on: April 01, 2013, 08:05:30 AM
So in the video it looks like he is running 3x AMD Cards on Crossfire, each motherboard has it's seperate HDD and CPU I can see. But how are they all linked to run 5gh/s?

Is just one unit mining linked up to it? Or are they seperately mining and it combines to 5gh/s.

I assume they are connected, if so how does it work, what cables does he use, and how is it just running on one rig. I know this is newbie question, but I want real answer which I am probably going to get hereJust seems insane they are all running simultaneously. Same question for people with closed cabinets that have them all linked. Just curious.

(Please don't move, doesn't deserve it : [[)
