2  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2015 bhCoins series 4 DIY [ENDED] on: August 20, 2018, 04:53:26 PM
This auction is for one bhCoins series 4 DIY mirror-silver finish coin & kit. The sealed envelope contains a set of numbered holograms as well as pregenerated keypairs that fit in the depression on the coin. One may, of course, generate their own keys instead -- this is simply how the kits were sold.

This coin contains no precious metal. While it is in very good condition, it does have a small spot of discoloration among the letters along the edge which may be seen in the picture. I am the original owner.

3  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] Mycelium Entropy device [ENDED] on: August 20, 2018, 03:56:17 PM
This auction is for one Mycelium Entropy device. This is a USB paper wallet generator that generates unlimited, random, one-time paper wallets that aren't saved anywhere once printed out -- pretty nifty! There is much more detail about its functions and capabilities in this post.

They were developed and distributed by Mycelium as part of a 2014 Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. I do not know how many were made in total. This one is in great condition, and comes with box and original instructions. It has been opened and used, but only lightly. I am the original owner.

This is a great addition to any collection, and also a very useful and versatile device!

4  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] .1 BTC 2013 Bitcoin Suisse AG note -- FUNDED on: August 16, 2018, 07:30:23 PM
This auction is for one funded 2013 Bitcoin Suisse AG 100 mBTC note (.1 BTC), serial #569765166X6AD

These Bitcoin Suisse notes are very thoughtfully constructed and lovely to look at, a great non-coin option for cold storage. I'm surprised we don't see more of them.

This has been kept in the original envelope it arrived in. The proof of purchase is pictured below, as I am the original owner. This is a pre-fork certificate.

This is a great addition to any collection.

This auction is for one 2013 Bit-Card 1 mBTC card (.001 BTC). It is still funded & unopened, has been kept in storage and is in very good condition.

There were several stock design for these, and this one has space on it.

These are really high-quality cards, with great graphics, quality holograms, printing and multi-layer plastic meant to enhance security. Their website was here, but it has been down for maintenance for a long time and I do not believe these cards are made any longer.

This is the last of these that I have. Get it while you can!

6  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] Nolacoin .5 BTC piece REDEEMED/EMPTY on: January 03, 2018, 02:39:48 AM
This auction is for one Nolacoin .5 BTC piece. It has been redeemed & contains no bitcoin.

This was a beautiful design. The coin is in very good shape, but does have some light blemishes and scuffs -- please see pictures. After redemption, it was kept in plastic bag with some other items, so it might have picked up some marks then -- or, it's possible they can be washed off, I'm not sure. The back has sticky hologram goop on it. The private keys for these were laser-etched into the metal both alphanumerically and as a QR code -- I obscured the key, even though it is empty, because I guess I am just superstitious about that.

One doesn't see many of these, and it would be a great addition to any collection.

These Bitcoin Suisse notes are very thoughtfully constructed and lovely to look at, a great non-coin option for cold storage. I'm surprised we don't see more of them.

Mostly because I am lazy, this has been kept in the original envelope it arrived in. The proof of purchase is pictured below, as I am the original owner.

8  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2014 Titan Tenth -- .1 BTC (funded) on: December 20, 2017, 03:30:33 PM
This auction is for one funded 2014 Titan BTC .1 BTC piece (#kMMXkKC6)

Titan BTC has made a lot of beautiful coins, but this is the only coin they've made in the 1/10 BTC denomination. It is a lovely coin made with a nickel-silver alloy (not precious metal). This is one of the private-key coins, not 2FA. I am the original owner, and I purchased it directly from TitanBTC.com -- there are some weird counterfeits on eBay, but this is not one of them.

This is a pre-forks coin.

Proof of funding here.

This is a beautiful coin in excellent condition, which has been kept in storage in its air-tite. It is a great addition to any collection.

9  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] AsicMiner USB Block Erupters x 5 -- rainbow collection! on: December 09, 2017, 04:58:02 PM
This auction is for 5 old AsicMiner USB Block Erupters, in a variety of colors: blue, silver, red and two different versions of black. While I believe they all worked the last time I used them, that was a while ago and I do NOT advise buying them for mining. I will not be available for technical support, and of course they would not be profitable anyway. They are a nifty piece of mining history, however, and would be a fun addition to any collection, or dare I say, museum!

These are items for the discerning collector.

10  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2013 bhCoin series 2 (funded) #0192 on: August 29, 2017, 04:22:53 PM
This auction is for one funded 2013 nickel-plated brass bhCoin .1 BTC piece. I am the original owner.

This coin arrived from the manufacturer with light scuffing on the "BTC". Since I received an identical coin with the same wear marks (which I auctioned earlier in the year), I suspect this occurred during shipping from the creators, since these were originally shipped in oversize capsules which allowed the coins to slide around (during their trip from Argentina). Otherwise, it occurred during manufacture, as I have kept them in new, foam-ringed airtites since I received them. I *suspect* this type of wear was common for these coins.

Nonetheless, this is a handsome coin, and uncommon. I believe the number of these made was very small (I thought 100 or so?). Because of its vintage, it also contains BCH, CLAMs, etc. This is a great addition to any collection.

Starting bid: .1 BTC
Bid increments: .001 BTC
End time: Sunday 9/3/2017 at 5:00 PM ET (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/new-york)

11  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2013 bhCoin series 1 (funded) #0027 - FINISHED on: July 21, 2017, 11:16:59 PM
This auction is for one funded 2013 brass series one bhCoin .1 BTC piece ("10 bitCents").

This was the first series that bhCoin made, and they were in turn one of the first makers to follow in Casascius' footsteps by creating their own collectible physical bitcoins. bhCoin may not be one of the more famous manufacturers, but they have an important place in the story of crypto collectibles.

This is an uncommon coin in excellent condition. I believe the number of these made was very low. This is a great addition to any collection.

12  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] Aluminum 1st Edition Trezor on: July 01, 2017, 04:26:30 PM
This auction is for one rare 1st edition aluminum-body Trezor -- "The Bitcoin Safe"! I am the original owner.

It is in like-new condition, though it has been opened. It will arrive reset, blank & with original packaging and accessories.

The Trezor was the first Bitcoin hardware wallet, and it is arguably still the best, with widespread support and an active development team, which has promised support far into the future. It also supports Dash, Zcash, Litecoin and Ethereum. It is usable with the wallet.trezor.io web wallet, as well as wallets such as Electrum, Multibit HD, and Mycelium (Mycelium is especially powerful, since as a smartphone app it lets you scan QR codes). It can also be used as a secure, password-less login device at supported sites.

This Trezor has been carefully stored and seen only very light use, used as a vault and not for daily transactions. There are a couple very light blemishes on the aluminum, which may be seen in the pictures (such as light nick on left button), but it arrived from Trezor with these tiny marks and I believe they are natural by-products of the manufacturing process.

The build quality on these is truly impressive. It feels like you could drive a truck over it!

I did try to auction this back in December, at a different price, and was not successful. Trying again!

13  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] Titan BTC 1 BTC goldine coin, REDEEMED/EMPTY on: June 21, 2017, 10:22:24 PM
This auction is for one 2013 Titan BTC 1 BTC goldine coin (no precious metals), which has been REDEEMED and is EMPTY.

The coin is in good condition. I believe this was their first design (?), though they have gone on to create several other excellent physical bitcoin designs since then.

This is NOT one of the odd Chinese copies that one may sometimes see, as it was ordered directly from Titan BTC and I am the original owner.

14  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] Redeemed Bit-Cards, mixed lot (5 cards), REDEEMED/EMPTY on: June 19, 2017, 10:54:00 PM
This auction is for a mixed lot of five Bit-Cards. They have been kept in storage and are in very good condition, but they HAVE BEEN REDEEMED and are EMPTY, as well as having hologram residue on the front.

The lot includes:
3x non-denominated wallet cards: flame design, ray design, and space design
1x 1mBTC card (.001 BTC): red design
1x non-denominated wallet card CUSTOM DESIGN: Space Goldfish! The Bit-Cards people went through a phase where one could upload their own design, and this was mine: a goldfish swimming in an inverse cosmos, with a Magic-8 Ball as an  eye, which would read "BTC" if it wasn't too small to see. So rare! Smiley

These are really high-quality cards, with great graphics, quality holograms, printing and multi-layer plastic meant to enhance security. Their website was here, but it has been down for maintenance for a long time and I do not believe these cards are made any longer. They made a great product.

This is the 2nd of two auctions for redeemed Bit-Cards which I am holding. Please do not get them confused.

EDIT: I neglected to obscure the keys in my original post, so I changed the picture after about 5 minutes. As mentioned, these are redeemed and empty, so that shouldn't matter, but it is something I had meant to do.

18  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2013 PBC (Microsoul) 1 BTC coin [REDEEMED/EMPTY] on: June 05, 2017, 06:56:20 PM
This auction is for one 2013 PBC (Microsoul) 1 BTC piece. It has been redeemed & contains no bitcoin.

This coin is in great condition, with some light spotting and dust (see pictures).

Rather than the hologram and paper-with-private key model normally used by physical bitcoins, this had a sticker on the back concealing a code etched into the back of the coin: with a few character changes, it became a functioning private key. I obscured the code on the back, even though it's empty, because it seemed like the right thing to do.

This was a bold design that had a larger-than-life feel to it. Wouldn't this look great attached to chain and worn as a medallion? Yes, it would.

This is an uncommon coin and would be a great addition to any collection.

19  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] Nolacoin 3 BTC piece REDEEMED/EMPTY on: May 30, 2017, 05:24:41 PM
This auction is for one Nolacoin 3 BTC piece. It has been redeemed & contains no bitcoin.

This was a beautiful design, and the mirror finish is in great shape. The back has sticky hologram goop on it. The private keys for these were laser-etched into the metal both alphanumerically and as a QR code -- I obscured the key, even though it is empty, because I guess it just seemed wrong somehow to post a picture of a private key online.

One doesn't see many of these, and it would be a great addition to a collection.
