1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why Should people wait for confirmation of Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2016, 07:11:24 AM
I just thought about this today. Every time you are transacting with bitcoin, you will be told that you have to wait for bitcoin confirmation. This is common with bitcoin gambling sites. What I know is that bitcoin transactions are irreversible. Then why is it that you have to wait for the confirmation before initiating anything?
2  Economy / Economics / ANY US BANK ACCEPTING NON-US CITIZENS?? on: November 02, 2016, 08:47:42 AM
I have been trying to withdraw my funds from Paypal but I have not been successful because the account is limited. When I contacted their customer service, they advised me that the only way I can get access to my funds is withdraw to a US bank account. Apparently, Paypal no longer allows withdrawals to Payoneer - they claim it is linked to virtual banks which do not carry out KYC.

I wanted to know if there is any US bank that allows non-US citizens to open an account online. Thanks for your feedback
3  Economy / Economics / Is Paypal a scam? on: September 18, 2016, 06:40:44 AM
I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.
4  Economy / Gambling / Primedice Limits number of faucet claims in a day on: July 24, 2016, 07:07:36 AM
I was surprised to find out today that Primedice has limited the number of faucet claims in a day. As I was waiting for my deposit to confirm, I decided to play using the faucet. I did one claim and when I ran out of the faucet balance, I did a second claim and bumped into this popup message 'you have reached the maximum number of claims for today' - http://myprintscreen.com/s/erzm/10ec28a6d7

So this means our accounts are now limited to one claim per day

Surprisingly, I have not seen anywhere where primedice has announced this change.

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Has Blockchain Halving had any impact on the Bitcoin market? on: July 10, 2016, 08:52:46 AM
There was much hype about the blockchain halving. There were predictions of the price shooting up similar to what happened in the first halving, and there were also predictions of the price falling back to as low as $100. Others said the market was going to crumble. I have not been keenly following the happenings but I am sure the halving took place. Sincerely speaking, I have not seen any changes as predicted before. What is your take?
7  Other / Beginners & Help / ARE NEWBIES CONSIDERED AS FOOLS? on: July 04, 2016, 02:07:09 PM
For a long time on this forum, I see people demonizing newbies for anything. From What I see, a new is considered as someone who doesn't 'know anything and is not supposed to say anything. Whatever you do, you will be told that "you are newbie". I ask myself, does it mean that newbies don't have a voice?

I realized some people build up their accounts and sell them when they are on a higher rank. They then start another account of which they will definitely start as a newbie. Can this person also be considered "worthless"?
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Does anyone know about compuceeds? on: June 07, 2016, 09:32:48 AM
Someone introduced me to compuceeds sometimes back but I have not taken a keen interest because I don't see where to use them. Does anyone deal with them, and how do you use them?. Are they exchangeable with bitcoins. I read an article about them on this link: https://www.compumatrix.ph/2014/02/15/what-is-compuceeds-and-how-can-it-help-businesses-better-than-any-payment-processor/
