Any news about Monero XMR Mining after the upcoming fork! Maybe monero should get a new algo for mining I've heard! Anybody has heard that too ? Furthermore, in order to maintain its goal of decentralization and to provide a deterrent for ASIC development and to protect against unknown or undetectable ASIC development, the Monero team proposes modifying the Cryptonight PoW hash every scheduled fork, twice a year. The modifications will be light, and should not change performance profiles much. The first change is now being tested, and will happen in the coming March fork. Finally, we will continue to research alternative Proof of Work functions that may provide better ASIC resistance than Cryptonight. |

Here you can post your issues about baikal miners and some help for figured out the Problems some miners have! First i want you to know the orangepi Images on the support page from baikalminer.com figured out the most Problem if the miners dont work! They update the support page asap when Updates come out! The orangepi Image have one 3,9GB and one 8,2GB the 3,9 GB Version have sgminer 5.2.2-b and the 8,2GB Version have sgminer 4.9.4 on it! The 3,9GB Version brings 2 Mhs more! But for me all 2 versions dont support nicehash pools anyway and i dont know why! I write an email on the baikal support and lets see how this going i keep you up to date!

I have a other problem at the Baikal mini miner, the blue and the green light always flash what can I do? He also does not connect to the network too !
As far as I've noticed in a few videos when blue and green flashes, he does not find the network but exactly I do not know it! Maybe the program on the sd card at the pi is also defective or faulty, I have no idea if someone could help me would be really great! And if what helps the miner again runs am I gladly ready to show me gratefully for the help

Everyone, please withdraw everything from Novaexchange - Everything! Also DO NOT send any coins here! I repeat DO NOT! ALL TRADES HAS BEEN STOPPED, ANY DEPOSITS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! WITHDRAW YOUR COINS NOW! An vulnerability has opened up for a specific user give themselves an insane amount of Bitcoins. These has been used to trade in the markets, balances has been re-arranged. All in all, BTC, DOGE and ESP balances cannot be trusted, the vulnerability caused the attacker insert a transaction within deposit systems. But did not think that Novaexchange is a young exchange that doesn't bank a lot of coins. The total volume of BTC in the most important wallet was 3.82 BTC before the attack, not a huge amount but that does not mean it is not painful for some. The attacker themselves did not get away with anything - actually it is happy users that got traded in ESP market during the last few hours that became happy they sold for BTC and withdrew everything. Which caused the wallet to go empty. All trades and such is logged and I could technically do a rollback of all trades even if it will take a lot of time to sort everything out. Which would you prefer? I am concidering to close down the exchange permanently once you have withdrawn your coins, unless the community gives any reason for Novaexchange to stay around. I wanted the site to become a serious player in this business with a lot of alt-coins that other exchanges refuses to trade, that was the idea behind Novaexchange.
