4  Economy / Auctions / BitSumo.com - Domain & Business on: May 29, 2013, 10:08:35 PM
Hello,

I'm selling BitSumo (https://bitsumo.com).

How it works:

You charge a fee for people paying you to purchase things for them.

Growth:

With no active promotion there has been an average of 300 visitors/month and 85% of them are new.

You could easily double that and simple submissions to forums and Reddit usually spike traffic into the hundreds within a day.

What you'll get:

(Registered w/ NameCheap)

Verification & Sale:

We can use Escrow. Message me with your offer or post a bid in this thread. Bids start at BTC1.

13  Economy / Marketplace / [WTS] 275 BTC Debt of Ian Bakewell (Edmonton, AL) on: April 02, 2013, 05:29:50 PM
I saw two other threads from respected members who loaned Ian Bakewell (his loan was a total of 600 BTC) and are selling his debt.

I'm willing to sell it at a discount, he's even got some assets & supposedly Avalon orders.

I loaned him 275 BTC at 3.5% interest.

244.62 on BTCJam & 31 on the side (with proof).

https://btcjam.com/listings/2063

I've got a contract, recorded Skype call, various logs & more. Another guy from this forum even lives right near him & has met up with him.

Here's his face: http://imgur.com/a/V85SV

Below are two threads from other lenders that are selling their debt.

TradeFortress: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=162393.0
Foggyb: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=164221.msg1716867

Since the original is deleted (probably by him), here it is quoted.

I am looking to borrow BTC600 and repay you over the next two months at 3.5% per week.

I would prefer to take the loan from as few people as possible, maybe 10 loans of BTC60 I would personally look over, otherwise I will go about creating a listing at btcjam or bitfunder etc
(would need a platform to manage if many small loans end up making the total)
So let's see if I can borrow BTC600 from 10 or so people here before I need to make a listing. Please post here / PM me if interested.

Payment schedule as follows:

March 1- borrow 600
March 8-  owe 621
March 15- owe 642.735
March 22- owe 665.230725
March 29- owe 688.5138 / 8 = 86.0647 payment = 602.4491 leftover
April 5- owe 623.5348 / 7 = 89.0764 payment = 534.4584 leftover
April 12- owe 553.1644 / 6 = 92.1940 payment = 460.9704 leftover
April 19- owe 477.1043 / 5 = 95.4208 payment = 381.6832 leftover
April 26- owe 395.0421 / 4 = 98.7605 payment = 296.2816 leftover
May 3- owe 306.6514 / 3 = 102.2171 payment = 204.4343 leftover
May 10- owe 211.5895 / 2 = 105.7947 payment = 105.7947 leftover
May 17- 109.4975 final payment

 600 borrowed, 776 paid back

I should have no problem repaying this as long as BTC stays bellow $41.66 ... if it goes above we would need to work something out for a bit more time to repay.

Here's all of his information. If he's a scammer, he's not a very smart one.

He hasn't replied on Skype, email or answered any calls on his phone.
It doesn't matter what we think of him, this indicates that he's a scammer. We'll definitely know on the 29th.

But, you don't have to be in the dark for that long, it's our money and we deserve to know what's going on. Here's his information (which he provided or was publicly available) to contact him.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / You're stuck here? Earn Bitcoin! on: February 22, 2013, 09:28:43 AM
We all want out of this section, but it's going to take some time...

So, in the meantime, why not earn some Bitcoin?

But, earning implies that you have to do something in return for it.

A good way to earn is by trading (win/win) and since you're probably already trading your labour for paper money...

Just start accepting Bitcoins.

Owning Bitcoins is a huge incentive, so make paying you in Bitcoins a huge incentive for others (e.g. give 10% off if paid in Bitcoin).

It's well worth the try... research, think about how to present it & actually take the time to do it.

Or simply share the http://weusecoins.com website on Twitter, Google, Facebook, etc..

Remember: Most people haven't heard of Bitcoin... and they probably don't know the web as good as you do.
