1  Economy / Speculation / Once we break October high... on: October 28, 2013, 12:19:38 AM
People thought the massive rally to 233 was over the moment we went down to 170, but less than 2 weeks later, we're looking at hitting it again any time soon!

What do you think will happen to confidence once we break through the 233 October high?
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Gox & Stamp Gap Closing on: October 22, 2013, 12:07:05 PM
Less than 5% gap between Gox & Stamp.
3  Economy / Speculation / Call the top on: October 19, 2013, 05:07:11 AM
Where's the top of this rally, gentlemen?
4  Economy / Gambling / Mike's victory dance after winning 200 coins LOL on: September 29, 2013, 03:55:46 PM

Officially fucking hilarious.
5  Other / Meta / It has become an absolute joke on: September 04, 2013, 12:15:34 AM
Buying out users signatures as advertisements is being taken to the next level. There is far too many of them. Literally every 2nd post contains a signature violently advertising a gambling site or something along those lines.

To a newcomer this honestly makes the forum & Bitcoin as a whole look like one big joke. A bunch of people who have such little self respect that they use their signature to advertise for a measly $20 or so worth of BTC.

Not to mention the negative affect this has on the management team of the forum in relation to the ad revenue. Why would you want to buy a couple of ad's for a week when you could buy 300 peoples signatures for a month for half the price.

Edit: It has now come to the point where people buying these signature based advertisements are paying higher to people who make more posts in a select period of time. This is encouraging spam & now not only taking away from the forums from a visual perspective, but a content perspective.
6  Economy / Gambling / Official Whale Watch on: August 24, 2013, 01:15:09 PM
This thread will be dedicated to finding & pointing out whales. Letting everyone know when they're betting!

It seems it has become fairly custom for whales to tip users if they win big on Just-Dice or Primedice through the in built chats. So this could prove a great way to make Bitcoin or to simply enjoy & watch as they bet.

I'm usually always idle on JD & PD chat whilst on the computer, so will be checking every now & again to see if people are betting big. If they are I will post here so others know! Feel free to help out if you spot one too  Grin
7  Economy / Gambling / Bitcoin gambling rap on: August 22, 2013, 10:28:16 AM
I laughed  Cool

Other sites should make stuff like this, good advertisement for Bitcoin (Debatable I guess xD).
8  Economy / Speculation / Lets say Gox returned withdrawals to normal tomorrow on: August 19, 2013, 07:20:38 AM
Where would the price land relative to that of Bitstamp?

I feel as if we'll end up a lot closer to Gox's price, as most people who have a Bitstamp account have a Gox account, not vice versa, so the arbitrage will only exist for buying coins.
9  Economy / Gambling / Taking bets that casinobit is a ponzi on: August 17, 2013, 11:37:23 AM
Taking up to 5 BTC in bets that Casinobit & their investment situation is or will turn into a Ponzi scheme.

Casinobit will be a proven Ponzi scheme within the next 3 months. This will be confirmed through inability to withdraw investments.

If Casinbit is not a proven Ponzi scheme within the next 3 months, I will return double your wager. If it is, I will keep your wager.

Would use that big website, but I honestly don't understand all that weighting stuff (Yeh.. call me dumb Cheesy), just want a clean wager.

Willing to use Doog or Stunna (If they abide, I'm sure they will though) as escrow for any bets!

Simply post here or PM me if you wish to take me up on this! Cheesy.
10  Other / Meta / Sad on: August 10, 2013, 02:25:17 PM
This forum is broken. It's meant to be a place for people new to Bitcoin to talk & understand what the big deal is.

When I joined this forum not long ago, I remember finding some great threads in here & attempting to get involved. It was good.

Now this place is just becoming a joke. Money hungry gambling sites, alt coins etc. are just spamming giveaways and other stuff. Their giveaways are giving away literally nothing, and makes the whole Bitcoin community seem like desperate kids attempting to get their hands on minuscule amounts of BTC.

Can we please fix this?
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / [30+ BTC Bounty] 4 Bitcoin Casino Games on: July 27, 2013, 12:29:49 PM

I need the following Bitcoin casino games created:

 - Slots (Undecided on specifics - We'll discuss!)
 - Roulette
 - BlackJack
 - SatoshiDice Replica

All 4 will be completely separate (Ie. different websites)

Regarding slots, blackjack & roulette sites:

The slots, blackjack & roulette sites will all follow the exact same mechanics. Being:

 - User loads site, account is immediately created through use of a cookie. Can be reaccessed
 - User can deposit & withdraw
 - User can play the game with their balance (Each 3 games will have different mechanics in the way that the balance goes up & down, indicative of the game)
 - Provably fair through client seed, server seed, daily secret & a nonce (If you have an easier way, then that will work too!)

Regarding the SD replica:

The SD replica will simply be a complete replica of SD. I understand there are many of these, so if you're willing to sell your code separately for this, then we can work out a deal! Smiley

If you're interested, please message me your Skype name & I will add you! We'll talk on Skype, and if I feel you're suited for the job then we'll go ahead with it.

I understand these are very broad descriptions of what I'm looking for, but hopefully you get the general idea. Further details & specifications will be discussed through Skype.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin Daemon Lagging with a lot of Addresses on: June 12, 2013, 08:23:51 AM

Is there a way to get around the Bitcoin Daemon lagging when larger amounts of addresses are being used?

13  Other / Meta / Page Numbers on: May 26, 2013, 03:44:13 AM

More active sections (And topics too) are starting to build up massive numbers of pages. It won't be long till you'll have to start scrolling down to get past the number alone.

Maybe it's time to implement a little more practical way to display pages?

Sorry if this has already been pointed out.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Mediators of all types on: May 25, 2013, 05:14:39 PM
Mediators of all types have been f**king us over for years. They supply close to no productivity to any economy (Yes I understand where they do come in handy). They profit through barely handling anything. Their use in terms of productivity? Close to nothing.

Do you see mediators throughout every sector 'dying' out over the next few decades (Exempt a few types of mediators that offer more to the table than simply redistributing goods & services), being fully replaced by all forms of peer-to-peer systems?

Feel free to shoot me down if you disagree with what I'm saying. Smiley
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Infinite Free Bitcoins! (100% Serious) on: May 18, 2013, 12:41:57 PM infinite Bitcoin giveaway!

PrimeDice is some new Bitcoin casino which released today. I feel sorta bad for the owner since they lost 217 Bitcoins in their first 5 hours (Probably more by now, maybe less), so I'm helping to market slightly for them to help bring traffic!

Their Bitcointalk thread:

Basically, they're doing a promotion where you may enter a new payout address to play with, and you will be instantly funded 0.0001 Bitcoins! You may then proceed to bet with this free bonus until you reach over 0.0005 Bitcoin where you may cashout (There's a 0.0005 miners fee though for cashouts).

If you lose the free bonus, all you have to do is use a new address!

Good luck guys, enjoy it whilst it lasts. And for real gamblers out there I recommend PrimeDice. It's great.

Stunna (PrimeDice owner) gave me permission over IRC to make this thread btw.

If you enjoyed their giveaway, please let them know here and say I sent you maybe Tongue
16  Economy / Gambling / The SatoshiDICE Update - Effects? on: May 17, 2013, 09:58:30 AM
To all the Bitcoin gambling website owners out there:

Have you seen a higher level of bets throughout the last 24 hours? Has this update truly affected the market?
17  Other / Off-topic / Bloody Fee's... on: April 27, 2013, 08:02:00 AM
How much do you think you've lost due to fee's? It really does add up over time. I sorta feel as if they contradict the whole idea of Bitcoins..

(Yeh yeh, I realise they have to be there, but they still suck & interested to see how much they've effected you guys)

And chucked this in speculation since it's speculators that trade the most Smiley
18  Economy / Speculation / Paypal's acceptance of BTC. Massive price rise? on: April 25, 2013, 12:53:07 PM
Edit: I'm extremely stupid. Already a thread on this: Soz guys!

This was already posted in the press section.

This will surely make Bitcoins a LOT more easier to obtain for the average person. This will surely have to lead to a massive increase in demand..

If this indeed does end up happening, what sort of rise do you think we'd be looking at?
19  Other / Politics & Society / Tertiary/Higher Education on: April 24, 2013, 06:57:00 AM
And people thought Bitcoin was a bubble...

20  Economy / Speculation / Up or Down on: April 16, 2013, 05:35:45 AM
Over the last month, are you UP or DOWN trading/buying/selling bitcoins.

Obviously there's a tonne of circumstances depending on how/when you got them. But in the last month 16th march - 16th april, are you up or down?

All I see are people who claim to have made a tonne of money and are always so confident. But there has to be people (like me) who have lost a decent amount of money.

So yeh, be honest? Cheesy
