Be careful with job offers, especially those coming from unsolicited text messages. There’s a new report about a scheme that has scammed people out of $2 million from various victims.

According to the report, scammers target people by sending unsolicited texts offering jobs with attractive compensation and commissions. However, before starting, they require victims to set up a wallet address and fund it with crypto, supposedly as a form of security. They promise that the funds can be withdrawn along with the commission later on.

Unfortunately, the victims didn’t realize that everything was happening on the scammers’ website. As a result, all the crypto funds they deposited ended up in the scammers’ wallets.

I just stumbled upon this news, and I find it very positive and worth sharing as it might signal that Argentina could soon follow in El Salvador’s footsteps by making Bitcoin a legal currency.

From what I’ve read before, it’s often better for countries struggling economically to adopt Bitcoin. This might be the case here, especially since El Salvador is now gaining recognition for its Bitcoin investment and has already profited more than 100% at the current price compared to its original investment.

Traders will soon have another option for trading option contracts linked to the price of bitcoin.

Cboe Global Markets announced on Friday that it’s planning to launch the first cash-settled index options tied to the pioneering cryptocurrency shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday. The new contracts are expected to begin trading on Dec. 2, according to a press release.

The contracts won’t track the price of bitcoin directly. Instead, they will be based on the Cboe Bitcoin U.S. ETF Index. The index was designed by Cboe to track the prices of several spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds on a modified market-cap-weighted basis. The gauge should be closely correlated with the actual spot price of bitcoin, however.

In a new report, Standard Chartered analysts cited strong inflows into recently launched spot bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. as a primary driver of their bullish outlook. The bank believes these "sticky" institutional flows will continue propelling Bitcoin's price.

Standard Chartered has emerged as one of the more Bitcoin-friendly legacy banks, with an active research team covering Bitcoin. Previously, the bank's analysts had predicted Bitcoin would reach $100,000 by the end of 2024.

But with Bitcoin's strong performance in early 2024, the team is now forecasting that it will hit $150,000 within the next nine months.

Looks like Adrien Broner is making a comeback! I honestly thought his career was done after that Pacman fight, but I did some digging into his boxing record, and he's got two consecutive wins via unanimous decisions against Jovanie Santiago and Bill Hutchinson. I find Adrien Broner to be a really interesting boxer, and the way I see it, he might just be gearing up for another shot at a championship bout in the future.
