Can anyone experienced at 2-of-3 transactions tell me if the following is correct. And if not why not.
For a 2-of-3 transaction the following is always true:
Three parties are required for a 2-of-3 transaction: sender, receiver and escrow. All parties involved in the transaction can verify that the address belongs to the transaction they're participating in, and not one made up or taken from a party's own personal wallet. All parties can view the funds in the destination address. Escrow requests must be signed first or second by the escrow in the chain of events. Escrow is able to grant access to the funds to sender or receiver. Escrow is unable to access the funds themselves. Sender and receiver can still cooperate so that one party receives the funds without the need to rely on the escrow.

Am I correct in my understanding that a bitcoin transaction which has been mined into a block and becomes six blocks deep in the chain (has six confirmations) is statically very secure from a double spending attack?
If not can someone point me at info explaining why not.

cryptonit.net is having issues with Freicoin (FRC) but it is not clear from the administrator if this is peculiar to that exchange or if this is a global issues with FRC.
Can someone point me at some information on this or fill me in?
If it is a local exchange issue I may just move my coins elsewhere.

Which alternate cryptocurrencies support 2-of-3 transactions?
Which have plans to add this feature?

I want to create is a welcome pack for shop owners explaining how to use bitcoin, the tax and finance implications for their respective territory/country and some stickers they can put up in their shop windows advertising that they take cryptocurrency.
I'm sure I'm not alone in this so I wanted to ask if there are any existing information templates and if anyone has produced shop window stickers or where can I get them?
I'm also not hugely familiar with the mobile app scene for bitcoin so advice here would be welcomed.
If we created a generic pack that anyone can download, people could use this to promote Bitcoin and Litecoin to retailers in their local areas the world over.
Initial thoughts of what a pack should contain are:
Information leaflet for retailers on: - The technical and financial benefits of bitcoin. - Some popular ways to transact with bitcoin in a retail environment with example walkthroughs. - How to be tax and legally compliant in their territory. Window / counter stickers. Small fliers for retailers to give out to their customers as information.
This is just an idea at this stage but wanted to throw it out there for wider opinion.

On the 19th of April this month I had 62,655.74118307 FRC. On the 23rd, 4 days later I now have 61,211.21246082 FRC. Thats a loss of 1,444.52872225 FRC or 2.3%.
Has that occurred through demurrage or should I be taking this up with the exchange where the FRC are stored?
I still can't claim to fully understand the demurrage mechanism.

Some websites - e.g. MTGOX - only issues Yubikeys from themselves which are locked to one account only. They state this is done for security purposes as if a Yubikey is used on multiple accounts with different providers one of the providers can use your code to log into another account with another provider.
I am therefore wondering if it is best practice to have one key per provider or if it is ok to use one Yubikey with multiple different accounts and providers.
Can anyone clarify why this is?

Is MTGOX down for anyone else again again again....

I've put in a buy order on cryptonit.net for 50,000 FRC for 1,000 LTC.
If anyone wants to trade with me please do sign up and we can trade via the exchange.
I'm not confident enough yet with cryptocoins to trust a straight swap out in the wilderness.

What is a share in pooled mining?
I seem to get more of them at lower hashrates.
Does more of them mean you are mining faster/more efficiently?

I've ended up with some solidcoin through Vircurex referrals (never bough it myself). Seems a shame to waist it as they are closing support for it.
So the first two accounts to post their wallet addresses below can have half of my SC each (its not very much). Must be different accounts with different wallet addresses.

Is coinotron down for anyone else?

I'm using BFG Miner under Windows 8, mining with an HD 6990 and it keeps crashing every 30 or so minutes.
Can anyone suggest what may be the issue?
I also cannot install CG Miner onto windows 8 which seems to run fine on my other rig in Windows 7 Home Edition.
In both instances I am mining LTC on coinotron.

I've been hearing from a few people that IXC code base is no longer being maintained.
Is this true? Can anyone provide more information around this?
