1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitmain will build bitcoin data center in Texas on: October 23, 2019, 08:26:24 AM
Have you heard the most viral news that just comes in the crypto world. Almost all bitcoin news websites have its eyes on the new project by bitmain. Bitmain is planning to build a one of a kind and one of their biggest mining farm at Rockdale, Texas. They said that this mining farm has a maximum potential of running a 300 megawatts in the future. Also the mayor of Rockdale is happy with this project since it will provide new jobs to the locals.

As to why it is viral here is my proof:
https://www.coindesk.com/why-bitmain-is-building-the-worlds-largest-bitcoin-mine-in-rural-texas
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitmain-launches-worlds-largest-crypto-mining-facility-in-texas
https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/43950/bitmain-opens-a-large-crypto-mining-farm-in-texas
https://news.bitcoin.com/bitmain-aims-to-build-a-300mw-texas-mining-farm/

This project will really help strengthen the bitcoin network. Also this is a sign that bitcoin is really profitable.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Buy a car with bitcoin cash on: October 22, 2019, 01:17:28 PM
I have checked online and I was surprised to see new post about websites accepting cryptocurrency to pay for electronic items, appliance and others. But what caught my attention is this website https://www.autocoincars.com/. In their website it says they are selling cars and accepts bitcoin cash .

I want to qoute a line from their website "Buy and Sell Cars with Bitcoin and crypto currency. Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Classic Cars, Audi, Aston Martin, Lotus".  Their line said they are accepting bitcoin but they are actually accepting bitcoin cash and not bitcoin itself.

I have checked the price but man I cannot afford it. But I do not find  some reviews about their services so I cannot yet give some info how legit they are.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Friendly City on: October 21, 2019, 07:11:52 AM
I have been searching for topics that will somehow help empower the bitcoin community. I have been previously posting bitcoin friendly politicians and the list of their names in this forum. Today I will share to you bitcoin friendly cities. This maybe a boring topic but its better to read topics that can inspire the bitcoin community rather than negative and threatening topics.

The list is courtesy to https://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/042415/10-cities-leading-bitcoin-adoption.asp

1 San Francisco, U.S.
2 Vancouver, Canada
3 Amsterdam, the Netherlands
4 Ljubljana, Slovenia
5 Tel Aviv, Israel
6 Zurich, Switzerland
7 Tampa, U.S.
8 Buenos Aires, Argentina
9 New York, U.S.
10 London, U.K.

After reading the article published by investopedia.com the common thing that makes these cities bitcoin friendly is the presence of merchants accepting bitcoins and the existence of bitcoin atms.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Stable coin - a threat to the international monetary system and bitcoin on: October 21, 2019, 03:46:52 AM
https://www.bis.org/cpmi/publ/d187.htm

The report of Bank of International Settlements or BIS have found out some alarming negative impacts of the stable coin towards  competition policy, financial stability, monetary policy and the international monetary system.

But this issues were not seen as a hindrance but a challenge to overcome thus a meeting with the stablecoin developers and the public sector authorities were called to tackle solutions to such challenges.

Somehow it is annoying to see that stablecoins will be the first to be mainstreamed rather than bitcoin. If they will be successful then bitcoin will be left behind and will only be viewed as a tradable cryptocurrency and can no longer be used as a means of payment due to the presence of stablecoins.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Ukraine President a pro-cryto president on: October 20, 2019, 01:27:00 PM
Yesterday I posted the list of bitcoin friendly politicians (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194213.msg52807916#msg52807916) and guess what I discovered a new politician which is bitcoin friendly. This person is no other than the President of Ukraine namely president Volodymyr Zelensky. President Zelensky wanted to legalize bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in their country. According to news.bitcoin.com (https://news.bitcoin.com/ukraine-in-a-rush-to-legalize-cryptocurrencies-under-zelensky/)  they mentioned that the president is in a hurry to legalize cryptocurrency in their territory. The legalization is already being planned out very carefully since they are now creating regulations towards the crypto sector.

It is important to take note the political individuals who are making big things for bitcoin. I assume that with President Zelenskys term bitcoin will be legalized in Ukraine and it will bring a good impact on bitcoins value at the market.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / From financial debt to financial stability- thanks to bitcoin on: October 19, 2019, 01:29:23 PM
I used this topic since I wanted to share my experience before I engaged in bitcoin. In 2013 I lost all of my savings when I joined AMAN Features. AMAN Features is a pyramiding scheme in guise of a trading investment that took billions of pesos around the Philippines. Because of that I was full of debt, after year I got married and at the same time my wife gave birth to my son. My debt has increased again and because of the interest from the debts I can only take home 10$ every 15 days to feed my family. Of course that was not enough and so I again applied for some loan from a different individual so I can provide the needs of my family especially my 1 year old child. In 2015 I was lucky to be hired as a regular employee but because of my debts my salary just went to the loan sharks. At the same year I look for online jobs but I failed but what I encountered was the bitcoin faucets online. I started collecting faucets and I am earning half a dollar per month. My mother, brother including my wife were laughing and they told me that my eyes will just get painful and I will not earn something, it is not worth it they said. Finally in 2016 I did some affiliate marketing and one of the owner of that company noticed my talent and hired me to be a part of their company with my salary in the form of bitcoin. With my salary I started doing trading while doing signature campaign and guess what by the fourth quarter of 2016 I actually paid all of my debt. Right now my journey from being drowned in debt was exchanged to a financially stabled life, my family is now eating good food, I can send my wife to college including my child, I now have a simple house worth 14k$, I bought some appliances clothings.

Without bitcoin my life was a mess, I was full of stress. But bitcoin changed my life and here I am now a financially stable individual. Though I am not a millionaire but I am no longer in poverty.

Whats your bitcoin life changing story?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Pro-bitcoins Politicians on: October 19, 2019, 11:15:08 AM
I am a dreamer and one of my dreams is to see bitcoin being mainstreamed into our society but it is very hard because of government intervention and other aspects. But we are not alone in our fight towards the adoption of bitcoin to all countries and I do salute some of the politicians who share our thought about the advantage of using bitcoin to our society.  According to an article on coinbase.com here are 7 politicians who were in support to bitcoin and blockchain:

1. Jared Polis
2. Dan Elder
3. George Galloway
4. Andrew Hemingway
5. Gulnar Hasnain
6. Rand Paul
7. Rick Perry

8  Other / Archival / Binance Information Data was hacked!!! on: August 08, 2019, 12:43:03 PM
One of the viral news today is that according to articles, posts on facebook, twitter, blogs, twitter and many other social media outlet was hacked. There was information leak and the KYC documents of customers were placed in jeopardy. The  most shocking was that the pictures of binance users have been posted on telegram. This is very alarming, could this mean that we should stay away from KYC regulated exchanges and focus on non KYC exchanges.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-27/bitcoin-crashes-1-week-lows-difference-between-fear-and-concern

We have witnessed the huge bitcoin crash as its value dropped 900$ in just a short span of time and many have panicked. Altcoin holders have also sold their coins and the market becomes bloody since red colors signaling the drop of value of almost all altcoins.

http://www.businessinsider.com/bitcoin-price-taking-off-after-one-of-chinas-biggest-exchanges-resumes-withdrawals-2017-6

But starting June 2017 we have seen the steady rise of bitcoins value. The value was recovering and it was possibly due to the Chinas big exchanges. According to the article I qouted the biggest exchanges in China was already allowed to process withdrawals and that has caused bitcoin to rise again.

Isn't it an irony since the bubble before was cause by Chinese exchanges but today the bitcoins crash was saved by the Chinese exchanges also.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Ethereum will continue to decline...dont buy Ethereum.. on: June 23, 2017, 07:05:35 AM
http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/06/23/ethereum-price-technical-analysis-ethusd-decline-2/

According to this article, Ethereum has a tendency to continue to decline in value if the buyers will fail to break the 330$ value. Ethereum has become a risky investment since the price deflation was no longer a joke but it is to be considered a crash. The buy support was low compared to before and if the support will not be increased a possible crash will occur again.

http://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/20/bitcoin-millionaire-erik-finman-says-going-to-college-isnt-worth-it.html

If we want to get rich invest in bitcoins today. The price of bitcoin today is at 2600$ and moving up but imagine its value 5 to 10 years from now.
