As most of know the us dollar has lost spending power ever since the Federal Reserve (A group of private banks) took over printing the dollar. With QE unlimited and no gold standard seems it will only get worse. Could the national debt have something to do with it? Agentina is dealing with similar issues right now with their peso. It happened right before WW2 in Germany with the Weimar Republic and then 2008 with Zimbabwe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperinflation_in_ZimbabweWhats stopping history from repeating itself by having another hyperinflation incident but this time with the US Dollar?

Alot of us bought BTC when they were *cheap* and been holding them since. Hoping they will keep climbing in value. And at the same time many altcoins rise and fall, people buying low and selling high, or even shorting BTC on sites like Bitfinex... Or mining new coins and then dump them as soon as they hit the market. There are also many securities out there to invest in like ASICMINER and HAVELOCK and now some mutual fund types investing in many altcoins, bitcoin and shares in crypto companies.
I am not talking soo much about Pool operators, or people with massive ASIC/FPGA/GPU/Rent-A-Server Farms, nor people that are just hodling. Looking for people invested in buying, holding and selling coins short / semi long term and or buying securities in groups that mine and give out dividends on their output.
With all these options out there, to invest in. Where you can possibly get a monthly, annual dividends, or as stated trade on the exchanges. Has anyone made this their full time job and been successful at it?
Certain names come to mind like Chris Dunn and Johnny Roquemore.

Whats with the low intensity mining requirement in alot of altcoins?
Lottocoin gets HW errors over 11 Mincoin and Grandcoin are the same way.
Bitcoin and Litecoin do not have this issue, as long as your video card does not overheat I19 works good.

Any experience with mining two alt coins at the same time both using Cgminer?
I have found with lottocoin you cannot set the intensity higher than 11, leaving alot of bandwidth in my video cards to mine something else. I tried running a 2nd cgminer of lottocoin but it dropped both my hash rates.

I have two 6900s yielding about 900kh, using about 700w of power. With current power costs it seems i would be loosing a couple dollars a day.
With the price not rising and the difficulty rising is anyone else feeling this pain?

I thought this is some premined coin, why is it 2nd to BTC right now?

Hello all, I remember a thread of a pool where you could connect to one pool, and the pool would decide which currency to mine based on which is the most profitable at the time. And then whatever you earn is exchanged for BTC. I looked over the Pools but cannot find it anymore, is that pool still around? EDIT: found it.... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=259649.0

I am taking it the blades put out more heat than the usb miners. Only operating about about 120w i would think not so much. What about the usb miners? Do they get warm to the touch? Need a fan blowing on them? With pictures like these i would say quite a bit:

Hello all, I may have acquired 5-6 VisionTek Radeon 7000 64mb PCI cards (VT-RAD7K). They are not supported by windows 7 so i would have to run them on XP or Linux. I looked in the mining comparisons but no one has seemed to log these cards. And search here did not find anything. Does anyone have experience trying to use these, and 5-6 of them on a single rig? Edit: i found this thread but it does not say if it works or not.... just speculation. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=32239.0

I have recently installed a 3rd video card in my ATX case rig, since then the new card and the card below it have been overheating.. Before i put the 3rd card in i could hover around 80-85c without issue. Now im over 95c on two cards with the new setup. See pictures below, the new card is quite wedged in there, there is no more room for anything else. I run my case fans at 100% and the GPU fans kick up to 100% without making much of a difference. Why is the autogpu and tempoverheat commands not working? I specified the temp-overheat at 90 and i thought the auto-gpu option is suppose to back down timing to lower temps? cgminer --scrypt -o [address] -u [username] -p [password] --thread-concurrency=8000 -w 256 -I 16 --temp-overheat 90 --auto-gpu --auto-fan As you can see i probably have no more than 5mm of space where the middle card is (Powercolor 7790) and the two cards at the top and bottom are 6950s.

As most have heard Gox has been under a slew of DDOS attacks, and lvl 7 app attacks at that.
Has Gox or Ozcoin, or others been able to find the group responsible? Or maybe a pool of IPs from a certain ISP that is responsible for attacks?
*tinfoil hat on* or maybe Gox is working with hacker group as some sort of inside trading affecting price *tinfoil hat off*
