2  Other / Off-topic / How can I promote Bitcoin in My new iPhone app? on: May 19, 2013, 01:42:55 PM
Hello everyone,
I am currently developing (almost finished) My second iPhone app.
In the about screen, I want to add something in the likes: "Bitcoin donations are accepted here".
Here is a screenshot of what I got so far:

https://plus.google.com/photos/109879817692684564524/albums/5862135873042346049/5879685287158557410?banner=pwa&authkey=COOKyMD244nNAg&pid=5879685287158557410&oid=109879817692684564524

Any suggestions how can I use this opportunity to promote Bitcoin?
3  Economy / Service Discussion / I cant force chainblock.info wallet to make a transaction without fees on: April 02, 2013, 06:32:08 AM
As far as I understand, if I don't want to pay any fees, I have that option.
1. Am I right assumming this?
2. I cant seems to force blockchaif.info to make a transactions without fees. Why?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Are fees mandatory? on: March 24, 2013, 07:03:26 AM
I am wondering, are fees mandatory?
1. Does the official client enforces them?
2. Does blockchaing.info wallets enforce them? I always put 0.00000000 BTC as the fee in My blackchain.info wallet but sometime is still insists on including a fee. Why is that?
3. I understand the current fee is 500 uBTC. At the current BTC price it is a noticeable fee. When and if it will go down?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Easy to use and yet secure wallet on: March 20, 2013, 02:22:27 PM
I currently use an blockchain.info as My wallet.
I am very paranoidal person by nature, but I am also a creature of comfort.

Blockchain.info seems to the best of two worlds.

But what I want a more secure wallet? I would go with all the hassle of booting up a Linux livecd and etc...
But this is not very convenient, I will have to do it EVERY TIME I WANT TO USE MY BITCOINS!!!

I was wandering, what does the community thinks, what can be a great solution of both easy and secure wallet?

7  Bitcoin / Mining / Transaction fees and minig on: March 07, 2013, 01:18:27 PM
In general, I cant find anywhere the answer to the question why the concept of transactions fees even exists.
The closest thing to an answer was "to support the miners".
Can somebody please elaborate on the subject?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I am receiving 0.00000005 BTC approximately once per day without My approval on: March 07, 2013, 01:15:41 PM
I hope it is the right forum for this question.
It started approximately a week ago.
My wallet is on blockchain.info.
Once per day approximately, I would receive 0.00000005 BTC.
I don't know who is sending, I don't know why.
It started happening all of a sudden.
Any ideas what can it be?
