We can either use localbitcoins escrow or an escrow from here.  I'd prefer using an escrow from here because it would probably cost less.

I'm selling gift cards from various merchants on Bitmit.  I have personally verified their value and I will be adding more cards on a pretty regular basis.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

7  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] (2) 7970s on: April 26, 2013, 05:52:22 PM
Edit:  Both cards have been sold.

I am selling two different 7970s.

The first is a reference card made by Visiontek that was a replacement card I received.  It's still in brand new condition and works great, although I have not mined with it.  This is just the bare card, no accessories are included. You can check out it's specs here.

The second card is a Powercolor Vortex ii that was purchased as an open-box item.  As it was returned unused, it's also in brand-new condition and comes with all the original packaging and accessories.  You can check out it's specs here.

- Prices are $329 for the Visiontek card, $349 for the Powercolor card (I pay shipping costs).
- I live in the US and can only ship to anywhere in the US or Canada.
- I will accept payment in the form of BTC, LTC, or a USD BTC-e coupon.
- I use the policy of you send payment first or we can use an escrow (you pay any escrow fee).

8  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Gigabyte 7970 GHz Edition cards on: April 23, 2013, 10:28:12 PM
Edit:  All 4 cards have been sold

I'm selling these (4) Gigabyte 7970 GHz Edition cards.  I bought these cards from Newegg for $450 each a little over 5 weeks ago, and they're still in brand-new condition.   I'm selling these cards because their voltage is locked.  These cards are GREAT miners as you can see here.  I still have all the original packaging and accessories and you can check out what comes with these cards here.

- The price for each card is $389 (I pay for shipping costs).
- I live in the US and can only ship to anywhere in the US or Canada.
- I will accept payment in the form of BTC, LTC, or a USD BTC-e coupon.
- I use the policy of you send payment first or we can use an escrow (you pay any escrow fee).

9  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 7970s + PCI-e cable risers = trouble on: March 24, 2013, 04:07:56 AM
So I built a new mining rig w/ (4) 7970s, specs are as follows:

i3-3225
Gigabyte G1.Sniper 3 mobo
8GB DDR3
(4) Gigabyte HD7970s (model # GV-R797TO-3GD)
1200W Coolermaster Silent Pro Gold ps

So I had it all running in a case, but it was too hot.  So I took it all out and just had it laying on a rack, and it ran fine.  Problem was, it was still a little too hot.  So I bought (4) PCI-e riser cables (16x to 16x) and tried to use those.  Now, on my mobo (which you can see here). I have (4) PCI-e 16x slots.  When you use all four slots, they become 8x slots.  So I set it up so the first slot (very top) had a card plugged directly in, 2nd slot had PCI-e riser to a card, 3rd slot had a card plugged directly in, and 4th slot had PCI-e riser to card.

Now I know all the cards work fine, and I know all the slots work fine because of how I had it setup before.  With it setup this way, all but the 2nd slot work fine.  For some reason, a PCI-e extender cable will work in the 4th slot, but not the 2nd slot.  Now I thought it was just a bad cable, but after trying them all, it still won't work.  Even the cable that works in the 4th slot won't work in the 2nd slot.

Anyone have any ideas?
