1  Economy / Marketplace / 330 TH/s Hosted Bitcoin Farm For Sale on: May 29, 2018, 09:22:55 PM
I am looking to sell my 330 TH/s hosted Bitcoin farm that consists of (25) S9's with power supplies.  Average hash is 13.2 TH/s per miner, all running in a hosted facility in Washington state with a reputable hosting provider.  The best part of this deal is that you get the hosting space in this facility at 6.5 cents per kW/h for the future, regarding of whether you keep the S9's in there or replace them with something else.  Hosting is paid for until mid-June and escrow will be handled by the hosting provider.  My price is $50,000 USD firm, payable in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash or Ethereum.  Serious buyers only please and message me with any questions that you might have.

Thanks.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 6x RX480 GPU Rig - Heat and Noise? on: May 18, 2017, 01:38:05 PM
I am bored and looking at building an open air GPU rig to tinker with, but I can't find too much intel on how loud and how much heat they put off.  I would have a single rig in my office (ambient 74 deg f) running 6x RX 480's.

At one time I had an Antminer S3 and S7 in my office and those got evicted pretty quick, so how would this compare to an S3?

Thanks.
3  Economy / Web Wallets / Why cant I Sign Message in Coinbase on: May 12, 2017, 03:00:29 PM
I am in my Coinbase account, I go to details of the btc address that I want to sign a message, I select "sign a message" and enter my message.  From here the Sign Message button click does not show a Signature, what is going on?  Nothing happens when I press Sign Message..WTF?
4  Economy / Goods / [WTS] iBoot G2 Web Enabled Power Switches on: March 04, 2017, 05:17:48 PM
I have 4 Dataprobe iBoot G2 Web Enabled Power Switches for sale.  These are perfect to remotely power on/off your offsite miners.  I used these to manage (4) Antminer S7's that I had at a remote site.  The web GUI allows you to set automatic timer schedules so you can have the power start/stop on a schedule.

$50 each plus shipping.
5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Antminer S7 Ambient Heat Temp on Exhaust? on: August 15, 2016, 01:15:51 AM
Does anyone have any real data on the ambient heat temperature from the exhaust of an S7?  I would guess that if the 3 boards were all hashing at 60c, then the maximum ambient exhaust would be 60c, however I would think the pull fan would cool the air moving through the miner?

1) I am trying to figure out what the ambient room temperature will be if I leave 2 S7's in my office running for a few days and can it trigger the sprinkler system; and

2) Does anyone have a temp gun that could collect the exhaust temps?

Any real data would be appreciated.

Thanks.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ETH Mining on Mac AMD GPU with Geth/Ethminer -Will Not Submit Shares to Nanopool on: July 16, 2016, 08:19:12 PM
So I have spent the past few days trying to get starting with mining Ethereum using my Mac (El Capitan) and its AMD GPU that is 2 gb.  I have installed Geth and Ethminer to use to mine with, which seem to have been installed successfully.  When I run Terminal #1 using "get --rpc", I have successfully downloaded the chain and the node is running at the current block.  In Terminal #2 I run "ethminer -F http://us-east1.nanopool.org:8888/[my address]/[my worker]/[my email] -G --opencl-device 1" after setting the environmental variable that allows the DAG to be downloaded, and it appears to be mining ok.  However, my shares are not being submitted to nano pool.  I found many instances of others with this problem and almost all of the solutions were to load the 15.22 version for the AMD driver, which solved the problem on Windows.  I cannot find any solutions to fix this on Max OS El Capitan.

Any ideas?

7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Web Interface Access on S3 Wifi? on: May 30, 2016, 02:11:00 PM
I successfully added the wifi mod to one of my S3's and have it mining on the WWAN (wifi) interface with a static ip.  It is mining good but it does not allow me to access it through the web interface or ping.  If I plug in the ethernet cable and both WAN (x.x.x.90) and WWAN (x.x.x.80) interfaces are active, I can access the WWAN interface through the web interface.

Has anyone successfully been able to access the web interface with just having the WWAN interface active?

Thanks.
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Bitmain S7 - dB Reduction w/ fans, duct, and psu? on: May 24, 2016, 01:41:52 PM
I have been reading quite a bit about replacing the fans on the S3/S5 with success to reduce the dBs, has anyone done this with the S7?  If so, are there any recommendations on fans and realized stats that you would be willing to share?  I would assume the 1 fan batch vs 2 fan batch would be much quieter, is this correct?  How about if I am also looking at using ductwork to vent the heat on the S7, would it be more beneficial to have the 2 fan unit to help move the air outside?  Regarding the ducts, would an insulated duct help reduce dBs or just use plain dryer duct?  To round out the dB reduction trifecta, is there a particular PSU that is more silent that the others, or mods to a particular PSU that would help reduce dBs?

Sorry for the ramble of questions, this is my first post here and I am drinking from the firehose.  Grin

-Wes
