1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Gigabyte GTX 1080 TI - Source For New Fans on: December 10, 2017, 07:01:36 PM
Hi.

Specifically looking for a UK source for a replacement fan for a Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GAMING OC Graphics Card.
There are a couple that look ok on eBay (China / Hong Kong).

Ideally after a UK seller.

Anyone know what model the fan is or point me in the right direction please?
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / S9 Hash Card Out Of Warranty Repair From UK on: April 03, 2017, 10:01:57 AM
Hi.
Lost my first S9 hash card on Saturday. My miner is out of warranty, suppose my luck ran good.
Ive had the card out, no missing heat sinks, no burning only showing 9 ASICS.

Im in the UK, am I best to go with the repair guys in the USA (Colarado)Huh?
I hear there could be a place in the Ukraine but cant find details for them.

Dont fancy shipping back to HK due to the horror stories on here.

3  Bitcoin / Hardware / S7 Hash Board Tech Info on: December 06, 2016, 09:52:33 PM
Hi.
Does anyone have a layout showing the ASIC order for an S7 hash board.
So for example in the GUI if the third ASIC shows X which physical chip it relates to.
I've never seen past the heat sinks on a board yet so I guess the chains and chips could be on the legend.

I've got some partiality dead cards coming my way so just starting to prepare to lift and swap some chips to try and repair some hash cards. I had a good success rate on the old SP20's when I was doing them.

5  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] S7 Hash Card - 54 ASIC Blade on: December 04, 2016, 02:43:37 PM
I've got troubles with a few S7 Miners looking for replacement hash boards.
54 ASIC boards would be good.
Would also consider faulty miners complete.
I'm in the UK please let me know.
Depending on price and who you are, may have to escrow I would pay the fees.

7  Bitcoin / Hardware / S7 Replacement Fan UK on: November 04, 2016, 07:35:22 PM
Hi.
I have an S7 that needs a new fan.
Any ideas of a compatible fan I can buy in the UK?
Can solder bare wires if necessary and don't care about noise.
Thanks.
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / IBM 1300W Server PSU With Miners on: September 04, 2016, 08:13:14 PM
Sold a couple of my S7 miners on eBay and put this together to show how to use IBM Power Supplies with the miners.
Thought it could come in useful to others.

9  Economy / Computer hardware / S7 Broken Parts - UK on: June 08, 2016, 03:26:34 PM
Im moving up to S7's away from Spondoolies SP20's for my own mine.
Have 3 X S7's on the way.

Looking to buy cheap broken parts in the UK only to repair / experiment.
I am an electronics engineer with full workshop and re-work equipment.
Never seen an S7 yet so big learning curve on the way.
Have succesfully replaced and re-balled the Rocker Box ASICS, so the BM ones cant be much harder!
Also got good with the Spondoolies controller cards, repaired fine.

Eventually looking to do repair work for people in the UK then further afield.

Dont have a huge budget at the moment.
10  Economy / Computer hardware / X6 Spondoolies SP20's For Sale - UK on: June 07, 2016, 08:21:24 PM
Hi Folks.

I have new miners on the way and need to clear out 6 X of my SP20's.
Ive loaded them all onto eBay UK if any one want a cheap miner to start out.
Some with PSU's and some without so read the individual descriptions please.
These have been good miners to me and I love Spondoolies kit, shame to even have to sell them.
Would like the auctions to run their course as I have no ideas on worth these days ........
Btc accepted as payment.
