1  Economy / Service Discussion / profitability question: Bitcoin, or litecoin?? on: June 16, 2016, 08:21:58 PM
Ok, first off, I'm not sure if this should go here or elsewhere given it's a multiple coin question, but im thinking it should go here given alt coins are involved.  Apologies if not.

Ok, so the question here is part long term question, part short term profit.  Should I mine Bitcoin, our litecoin, for me profit and long term longevity.  I have in total multiple terahashes of cloud processing, and am wondering if long term and short term profit would be better spent mining Bitcoin, our litecoin, given I have a hardware Bitcoin wallet coming, if I were to do litecoin, it would need to be exchanged for Bitcoin after....I'm not sure what would be more profitable...obviously Bitcoin in raw value is more money per individual coin, however given the sheer difference in processing time vs power involved, I'm thinking maybe litecoin would take less time to process the same value given the sheer difference in network difficulty vs processing time.

Can anyone weigh in on this as well and give their thoughts??  I'm fairly inexperienced in the knowledge required to make this deduction and would like the thoughts of those more knowledgeable on this to weigh in please.
Apologies if there are typos or issues, writing this from my phone while out of the house.tiny screen and Android auto correct, not my friends for this kind of thing  Tongue
