1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Word suggestion the next time someone says Bitcoin has "crashed" again... on: December 10, 2013, 12:59:14 AM
I think "rubberbanding" is probably the best word to describe how Bitcoin snaps back after a steep drop.

And so far, it always seems to do exactly that.
2  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] BITCOIN.SL domain on: November 27, 2013, 01:33:20 AM
There are very few "bitcoin" domains.  I have one.  I have it for sale for BTC5.00, but until the end of November 29th, I'm offering it for BTC2.00.  After then, it will go back to BTC5.00.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the number or write the email listed at the URL.

I will pay the cost of transfer to the purchase.

There is no WHOIS server for .SL domains.  See for yourself!  Go to http://geektools.com/whois.php and search "bitcoin.sl". Smiley

3  Economy / Service Discussion / Bets Of Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2013, 09:24:30 PM
Does anyone know anything about this site? If legit, does anyone have any idea what the average length of time is before an outcome can be decided and closed, and the bidders paid out?
4  Economy / Invites & Accounts / [FS] NOS Rewards Account with 150 Points on: September 24, 2013, 06:37:36 PM
I've been collecting points for quite a while. I was saving up for a watch, but once I got to 150, I figured I'd probably just sell it anyway.

So I've decided to sell the points instead. Buyer will supply me with an email address to transfer it to.

With 150 points, you can get any Rewards prize (or maybe several prizes that total 150 points or less).

http://www.drinknos.com/rewards.do <<<<Read up here.

(Offer limited to US residents, NOS fulfillment will not ship to PO Box.)

Make sure the item or items you want are still available in the size(s) you need. Also, whether NOS prize fulfillment will ship to you. Basically, READ TERMS on the NOS site before making an offer. Eligibility is your responsibility. Once transferred to buyer, it's theirs.

(The account name will be changed as well.)
5  Economy / Goods / 3.5" Silkscreen-on-Vinyl Indoor/Outdoor Bitcoin Logo Stickers on: September 18, 2013, 01:45:01 AM
I am selling durable, heavy-duty, professionally-manufactured vinyl stickers. Great for indoor or outdoor use - put them on your car, in the window of your business, on your cash register, on your laptop, on your mining rig, or any other place you want to sport that handsome orange and white Bitcoin logo.

These are not some dye-sublimated or laser-printed stickers that will fade or peel or rub off.  These will hold up to all kinds of weather.

I'm selling them at my website, http://shop.welikebtc.com/ and I ship worldwide.  I use BitPay as my payment provider.  (If you want to buy some but you don't have the BTC to buy them, I can sell you some via Dwolla or PayPal.

Get some now before they're all gone!
6  Bitcoin / Mining support / BFGMiner + Block Eruptor - GPU Mining: Somewhat Noobish Question on: July 20, 2013, 09:06:10 PM
Okay, so I received a Block Erupter today. I bought it because I like being an active part of the network, and that I can now do so without killing a GPU in the process.  No delusions that I'll earn back the cost.

I've been using GPUMiner with my videocard until now, and moving over to BFGMiner, I *don't* want the program to utilize my GPU *and* the Block Erupter - only the latter.

Is there something on the command line to do that?
7  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Silkscreen-on-Durable Vinyl 3.5-inch Bitcoin-Logo Stickers on: July 16, 2013, 03:51:34 AM
I've paid to have these printed up so I could share them (inexpensively) with others.

They're professionally silkscreen-printed on durable vinyl stickers, and are suitable for outdoor and indoor use.

You can see them on my website, http://shop.welikebtc.com/.  All sales in BitCoin and I will send them anywhere in the world.  All stickers ship out within 12-24 hours of payment confirmation.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Somewhat new to BTC, but pretty much an evangelist. on: June 20, 2013, 12:30:33 AM
I had an interest a little over a year ago, but I made the mistake of listening to some friends who derided BTC as "Aspie money" and a "waste of time".

If only I hadn't listened to them.

Anyway, I started off with BTC shavings from giveaway sites.  When VirWoX offered Second Life Dollar conversions to BTC, I cashed out some of my earnings there and bought my first whole BTC. (Then SL changed their policy and that avenue ended quick.)

I've mined a little for fun on my home PC ... and I've earned about BTC.10 as of this weekend.  It's just been in fun, running my older GPU when I'm at work or asleep.  I also pick coins of any denomination off of the ground, so there you go.

I've recently bought directly from someone locally using LocalBitCoins.com.  That was kind of fun, and I honestly think that it's my favorite method of buying/selling BTC.  Person-to-person really maintains that "People's Currency" feel that I like so much about Bitcoin.

I've ordered a run of 1,000 3.5" round Bitcoin logo stickers - silkscreened on real vinyl - and will be selling those online when they arrive, for Bitcoins, naturally!

I've also got a business idea rolling around in my head.  I love that I'm still technically an "early adopter" and have an opportunity to participate in something really exciting and potentially world-changing.

So hey, hi!
