1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / $ERGO Speculation | Written from scratch | 2+ years development on: July 06, 2019, 06:15:14 PM
I am not saying it is worth buying right now, the market has only started 4 days ago. However, it is worth adding to your watchlist.

Price prediction in two months? Im guessing $2. Thoughts?

At one point it was AI analysis, then it was IOT scanning, now what are current solutions missing?
4  Other / Off-topic / Crypto Scams on: March 14, 2019, 03:50:32 PM
Crypto scams are all over twitter. Let us make a thread that helps victims by making the scams searchable.
I have recently stumbled upon:
Michael Phillips (@MKulasek)

Generic white name, check.
"Profitable mining operation" check.
No data about the guy online, check.

A reverse image search didn't work.

Anyways, I found cryptocoingrowth website and asked the real guy if this was him, it was not.
Im not going to say Mike is 100% a scammer but I will say that is really really likely.

He created a blockchain account for my friend and gave him a pass. This means he has the private key.
He also suggested a website called fxcryptosignals which is very likely a scam from what I see.

Getting a business license is easy in some countries.

I just want people to look out for things like this that are potentially scams. It hurts Crypto's image.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which coins have software that is actually being used? on: March 06, 2019, 10:42:49 AM
I have tested a couple different coins, each seems to be missing something necessary for adoption.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / HADRON.cloud Discussion on: January 14, 2018, 01:17:20 AM
This project seems to be gaining a lot of traction: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2142232.0

It is having an airdrop and there seems to be a lot of interest. Summarized, it appears that individuals are rewarded for solving AI related problems. Aren't other projects like SONM, RLC, and GOLEM competitors.
What are your thoughts?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Updates in the crypto world (great new projects, consensus mechanisms, etc.) on: January 11, 2018, 08:28:39 PM
There are new projects everyday, it's hard to stay up-to-date in the crypto world. Let's discuss interesting happenings.

Interesting to me:
Radix (formerly emunie) was able to complete 1 billion transactions in 7 days.
Komodo/Barterdex had their first ethereum atomic swap lately
The dreaded bitconnect has finally gotten notice from US regulators
I've seen increased interest in exchange coins, POA coins, identity related coins, high tps, airdrops, AI, and transportation.

Would like to hear what interesting events others have noticed  Grin
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ICO Loophole? Analysis of recent events on: September 04, 2017, 05:08:36 PM
Is there some type of alternative to ico financing? Initial coin offerings are banned; however, this does not mean tokens are banned (privately funded token projects will still exist).

Perhaps we will see flourishing incubator coins (such as blockchain cap, adel, etc).

Also are there possible loopholes to the ban? For example, a token airdrop where the dev team maintains a large premine in order to fund their project.

Thoughts?

I know that there are some methods to watch cable television online. Are there any methods that work well enough to be considered a good alternative to cable?

12  Other / Off-topic / What phone should I wait for? on: June 09, 2016, 09:11:11 PM
Right now I am waiting for the Note 7. Anyone have any better ideas? The bigger the screen the better. Also, thoughts on project ARA - modular phone.
13  Other / Off-topic / Are there any places to have good speculation discussion? on: May 15, 2016, 02:46:56 PM
Bitcointalk speculation threads seem to be like the older brother of the trollbox. I would love realistic discussions, not "Moon mooon moon! Buy more!." Someone give me hope.
