The max block size could be recalculated every 2000 blocks (or whatever), as de reward difficulty autorregulates itself.

The maximum block size would be somewhere between 1 MB and infinite.

Simply calculating the median size of the last 2000 blocks and multiplying it by 2x (or by 10x, or whatever), that's the maximum block size for the next 2000 blocks.

So every 2000 blocks, the max block size is recalculated.

Bigger blocks could be allowed, but with a penalty (Rosenfeld's brilliant solution: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1078521.100)

That could be easily implemented in Core.

Abro este hilo para debatir los hechos y las intenciones de la ballena de 30.000 bitcoins el día 05-10-2014 y en el que el precio hizo mínimo en $275 (BitStamp).

Hechos:
1) La ballena muestra a todo el mundo los 30k BTC poniendo muro de venta de a 330 USD/BTC cuando la cotización está en 320-330
2) minutos después vende de golpe la cantidad justa de BTC (unos 6000) para que el mínimo sea 275, e
3) inmediatamente pone un muro de compra de 8000 BTC a 280 y baja el muro de venta a 310.
4) durante unos minutos el precio recupera a 310, para luego volverlo a bajar a 280
5)  baja el muro de venta a 300, y lo mantiene ahí unas horas. El mercado (o él mismo) devoran más de la mitad (unos 18.000) de los 30k BTC, y finalmente quita el muro.

El artículo es largo y muy interesante. Y en inglés.

Abro este hilo, repito, para comentar dicho artículo: el por qué de la creación de varias cuentas con "saldo ilimitado" dentro de la propia MtGox, por qué Karpeles se escuda en un simple "lamento los inconvenientes causados" en la rueda de prensa tras el anuncio de quiebra, etc, ... con la idea de obtener algo de luz sobre el que puede haber sido el mayor robo, pasado y futuro, en toda la historia de bitcoin: los 650.000-750.000 BTC robados a los clientes de MtGox.

Por favor, abstenerse comentarios cortos que no aporten nada, del estilo "lo hizo para forrarse", "porque Karpeles es un gordo incapaz", y similares.

Si te da pereza leer el artículo porque es largo, porque está en inglés, etc, abstente de comentar nada en este hilo. Gracias.
