Hi. I noticed that my RTX 3080's drop there core clock. Any idea why this is?

With GPU's mining dieing out fast now I wondered what other use cases the device has. Here are 6 that came to mind 1. Gaming. Local and streaming, www.vectordash.com 2. Rendering. Content creations. Images, Movies (Blender) www.golem.network/rendering/3. Crypto Mining. Ect... 4. Machine Learning. www.vast.ai5. Encryptions. Password cracking 6. Data processing 7. Heating while altruistic uses, fold@home and SETI@home Any thing I missed?

Claymore 14.x has an way to modify the 10xx gpus
“ in Supports applying optimized memory timings (straps) on-the-fly in Windows, without flashing VBIOS (currently Polaris, Vega, Nvidia 10xx cards only), up to 20% speedup. Best straps for Ethereum are included.“
Any way to do that without mining etherum? Like the Enlargement Pill for 1080ti

CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS ONLY Im not talking about just mining with it. I am realy asking for suggestions of how to apply $2000 AWS Credits that is worth investigating.

Is there any benefits to use a stratehm-stratum-proxy to jump between pools fast? like in within a few blocks?

I am using zergpool with nemosminer with 66 1070's I see that I mainly mine x16r,x16s,Neoscrypt,HSR,Lyra2r2 and Lyra2z when I used Nicehash I almost only mined Lyra2r2 and Neoscrypt.
should I remove the other algorithms? As they do kick in now and again but I am not so sure it I worth the interruption when switching.

Google is not bering very good to me so I'm asking.
Is there any resroce or person that has managed to setup a AWS F1 mining altcoin profitably?

With Zcash not concerned about centrilized control of there consensus mechanism it is clear to me that monero is the king of privacy coins.

I want to mine Trazercoin but I miss Altminer.net. Any alternative for a one-stop shop like that? Im thinking zpool and having it pay out in TZC

So what normally happens after an altcoin has an airdrop? Bitcore(BTX) has 8% Monday of holders but I am not so sure what will happen after. Surly everone will just dump? What makes me think otherwise is that they had airdrops ever weeks for many weeks so most would be holders.

I'm. Getting much better reported hashrate with Ccminer Enemy v1.03 x17 than other ccminers. But no source make me worry. Is this safe or just fake hash rate increase

If one manufacturer makes the majority of the asic miners what will prevent them from building in a backdoor to remotely control all there miners? Therefore hijacking the network and forcing concensus as they will.
Bitcoin core is a small group of developers that dictate the future functions.
Both these makes my worried that bitcoin is not decentralized at all but it is merely an illusion.

Other than switching to Linux is there anyway to get a few more months out of the 1060 3G on windows?

So AMD has the option of modding the bios to help with Eth hashrates. Other than tweeking the core/memory and dropping the power limit is there anything else I can do to improve hash/w of the 1070?

So ETC was born because some felt strongly that Etherum network should be immutable. So if I understand it correctly then the DOA hacker still has access to the coins drained from the original contract. Has he tried to access it and exchange it?
3.6m ETC = 105.516m.

I have been watching a few Neocrypt Altcoins and see there network hashrates jumps around like mad. for example feathercoin https://www.coinwarz.com/network-hashrate-charts/feathercoin-network-hashrate-chart. It can go, in a few blocks, from 1GHs to 10GH/s In the above chart, it looks a lot more stable than what is happening per block. The only explanation is that bots are buying has power form Nichash and dumping it on the small coins when their difficulty drops below a point. But they buy too much and dilution profitability. Only to stop a few block later. Just looking at https://www.nicehash.com/algorithm/neoscrypt As block time is in the order of 1 - 2 minutes I can't see that this is a good strategy. Nicehash is PPS so your cost is fixed and your income is random. I was thinking of setting up a stratum proxy that will do similar coin hopping. Including hop to Nicehash but I'm doubting that over time it would be more profitable. The reason is that at the same time that I hope some bot on Nicehas will place an order as well. Has anyone had experience with this? I really don;t want to mine to a coin when the difficulty is x5 to high and therefore the coin reward is so low. Do pools have an anti-hopping mechanism building? to penalize hoppers? Or is that taken care of by the PPLN system?

Im looking for a stratum proxy that can auto switch pools based on profitability.
The idea is to run a miner and fine tune the OC for that algorithm but the stratum works is switches to the most profit coins or even nicehash if that is more profit.
I know one can get miner managers such as Awesome miner and Multipoolminer that switches the miner software but the restart of the program causes issues and if it switches a lot you have downtime.
Googling has not helped me yet so just like to know if there is one that im not finding.
