The time came quite quickly, where we are facing two posible futures.

The alt-coins (bound to BTC) value came to the point where at the current prices its more profitable to mine BTC with Asics than mining Alts with gpus.

Sooo,

First Possible Future = The existing  alt-coins are going to die very quickly.

unless

Second Possible Future = Some alt-coins will accomplish to unbound themselves from BTC and earn its own speculative (or real) value.


What is going to be? I believe the second one will. Why? Because the BTC experiment is successful.

I count BTC as the first gen of the digital currency and the second/third gen coins exists already. BTC is awesome BUT it doesnt have enough volume for everyone. Plus there are (and more will come) some Alts more advanced than BTC.

People, stop selling your hard-earned Alts for some fractions of BTC.

THEY COSTED MORE MONEY TO MINE THEM THAN WHAT YOU GETTING NOW.

And for some of them, YOU WILL earn more money in the near future.
