2  Economy / Service Discussion / Coinmkt update? on: May 25, 2014, 01:27:40 AM
Some people were having trouble making money order withdrawals recently. Anyone got an update or used this method with success lately?  I'm thinking of using it again as it's worked for me in the past. Selling BTC for dollars in US.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Cryptsy is a joke on: May 06, 2014, 04:40:58 PM
Wow I've read all the threads but it finally happened to me.

After how many years/months of all these kinks, and they still have issues...the site is SO slow first of all but mainly, I went to withdraw BTC and I had a negative balance in 1 of the alt coins and it wouldn't let me withdraw the BTC until I "corrected" this problem.

FIX THE SITE SO I CANNOT GET NEGATIVE BALANCES and this problem would not need to be corrected.  It's like a completely retarded person is running that site!

Then to withdraw you need to get another 2FA pin from your e-mail, and then go to your e-mail to confirm the withdrawal again, which doesn't add any more safety, I have no idea what they're doing except trying to make it tougher to cash out I guess?  Plus the 2FA pin e-mails don't even come right away!
4  Economy / Gambling / [Resolved] Stop betting on Luckynumber.me NOW on: April 30, 2014, 05:43:39 PM
Sorry, I'm not trying to be alarmist but I needed to make sure everyone knew.

Luckynumber.me is currently having an issue where EVERY SINGLE BET is a loss (whether you won the roll or not).

Since it's a new site I just wanted to warn people to be careful.
5  Economy / Gambling / BITBOOK PROBLEM! on: February 05, 2014, 04:01:49 PM
Just wanted to warn everyone, apparently people are making deposits and they aren't showing in their accounts.  You might not want to deposit until we figure out what's going on.  Admin of the site is usually around but wondering where he is.

8  Economy / Gambling / JC picks today on: January 14, 2014, 10:27:58 PM
Ok what I'm trying to do is look and not take the picks that seem to OBVIOUS to me.  I want the picks that make me uncomfortable.

Tonight why are the Knicks only -1?  So I'll take Charlotte.

Why are the Thunder only -1?  I'll take them to lose as well.

Western Mich +4
St Johns -2

I totes recommend this book:

9  Economy / Goods / I'll buy you anything on Amazon for a discount on: January 14, 2014, 04:29:19 PM
I have an Amazon gift card balance on Amazon of $70.  I'll buy you anything under $70 and you pay me in BTC for it, and I'll give you a discount.  I'll have it shipped right to you.

I think you have to be in US to do this as I'm in the US.  I can order first and send you the receipt/tracking info via email and then you can send me the btc we agree on (if you're trusted and have rep).
10  Economy / Currency exchange / Buying BTC in Boston area for cash on: January 10, 2014, 05:56:42 PM
I'd like around .2 or .3 BTC.  I will pay cash in Boston or nearby.  I guess I will try localbitcoins if I don't hear anything, I've never tried that site before.

12  Economy / Gambling / Bitcappers.com...FAIL on: January 10, 2014, 02:23:45 PM
For anyone thinking about joining Bitcappers.com:  They had a thread here and were posting their picks.  They "guaranteed" a 75% hit rate and a 90% hit rate for their premium picks.   They hit about 50% the first 2 or 3 nights that they posted here and then opened up their premium picks.  They posted 3 picks last night, including a heavy favorite.  I know that at least 2 of the 3 lost (costing me a hefty sum).  Then I come back and their thread is gone (I assume they deleted it because it had losers LOL).  Plus their site is down for "maintenance."  I'll bet they're removing their bad picks, like they tried to erase it all after last nights debacle but I wanted everyone to know there's something fishy about them including the fact that their picks stink.
13  Economy / Digital goods / selling 6.5 chips on Sealswithclubs on: January 08, 2014, 06:31:32 PM
I will sell for .0045 (value is actually .0065 on Seals, I just want to stop playing.)  You can see I've had a couple trades that went fine in my trust section.  If you're trusted or have forum rep. I will send first via Seals.

Thanks.
14  Economy / Speculation / Why would BTC price go up forever? on: January 06, 2014, 09:53:35 PM
There is a lot of speculation that price will rise and rise.  But I was thinking about mass adoption, which many board members obviously want to happen.  Wouldn't there reach some equilibrium point where people aren't willing to pay more than X to get some BTC?  I mean, for mass adoption, BTC does not need to be worth $1 million, any number frankly will work.  And in fact I think the more stable the number the more likely there would be mass adoption.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ALTS getting out of control! on: January 02, 2014, 11:11:58 PM
Boy a few months ago I didn't think it was possible but the number of alts is just getting out of control.  What about forcing them all to go into subfolders for their particular coin?  This alt forum is basically unreadable IMHO.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DOGE dying on: December 30, 2013, 08:18:06 PM
Wow a week ago all the posts were DOGE this and DOGE that.  Now I can barely see anything about it and the price is less than half.  Newbies keep this in mind next time someone is pumping the heck out of something.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / clarification on miners not picking up a transaction (question) on: December 19, 2013, 11:26:50 PM
CoinMKT is telling me they sent .31 BTC to this address but it's not showing up at all on blockchain.  I thought normally it shows up on this link in my wallet but it just might get stuck for a while without confirmations.  I've never had the blockchain explorer show nothing so I just want to see if this is normal.

18  Economy / Service Discussion / CoinMKT BTC withdrawals? mine is AWOL on: December 19, 2013, 03:57:01 PM
I tried to withdraw .31 BTC just a few mins. ago from CoinMKT and it took the BTC out of my acct but it's not showing on blockchain explorer or in my funding history withdrawals page.  Anyone have experience with how long this might take?  Thanks.
19  Economy / Service Discussion / CampBX - YOU WIN on: December 17, 2013, 09:48:58 PM
I had requested a withdrawal from Cambx via their supposed "preferred" USPS postal money order.  It literally sat there on my account for ONE MONTH, with excuses coming out the ying yang about "logistical issues."  Then it was there is a 2 week backlog.  Then last week it was "I will personally take care of it this weekend."

I GIVE UP

I bought back BTC and transferred out of there.  SOMETHING is up over there, and no I don't think it is incompetence or overgrowth, they are doing something funny with customer funds.  I STRONGLY advise not using them.

Ticket after ticket and day after day they just ignored me.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bank to offer competitor to BTC? on: December 10, 2013, 05:38:59 PM
Oh no - I just read an article that JPMorganChase is getting ready to unveil a competitor to BTC.  Any thoughts?  I'd be worried they will push this on everyone and say lies like BTC is unsecure etc.  As the site says if they can't beat em, join em, and then beat em.
