I've managed to go through the installation and config setup, miners can connect to the pool and apparently mine at it, however don't receive any payment

Those "no new blocks for 55 seconds" message could means that nomp can't connect to the wallet?
But still the limecoin daemon is running and the rpcport as user and password parameters are setted on the limecoinx.json configuration file in /pool_configs/

Se qualcuno fosse interessato sono disponibile per modificare i vostri gridseed in modo da ottenere oltre 500kh/s

Ogni gridseed riceverà i seguenti interventi:

• *sostituzione del pad termico con pasta termica di alta qualità 5.6 W/m-K
•  fresatura del dissipatore per permettere il corretto contatto con i chip
• VMOD1(425kh/s), VMOD2(510kh/s), VMOD3 (560kh/s) **
  
• opzionale: downvolt ventola a 5V (decisamente silenziosa)

*su alcuni gridseed (pochi per fortuna) anche gli stessi chip gc3355 posso risultare leggermente disassati fra di loro, qualora ritenessi che il contatto chip|pasta termica|dissipatore fosse non idoneo installerò su ogni chip un thermal pad di buona qualità da 0.5mm di spessore (termicamente molto più efficienti rispetto ai pessimi pad originali)

NOTE E FAQ:

quali sono le differenze tra vmod1 e vmod2?
Sostanzialmente varia la tensione applicata ai chip
VMOD1:  Vcore circa 1.35V e 10-11Watt @ 1000mhz = 425kh/s
VMOD2:  Vcore circa 1.65V e 16-17Watt @ 1200mhz = 510kh/s
VMOD3:  Vcore circa 1.82V e 25-26Watt @ 1320mhz = 560kh/s  ( warning: we are pushing to the limit! )

La modifica accorcerà la vita del mio gridseed?
In teoria no, per fare un paragone equivale overcloccare i processori o le schede video...l'importante è dissipare adeguatamente i chip, per questo sostituisco i pad originali con la pasta termica.
Tra i vari utenti del forum che hanno  modificato i propri gridseed  1200mhz@1.65V sembra essere il giusto compromesso tra prestazioni e sicurezza, per quanto i gc3355 possano tollerare valori superiori conviene non oltrepassare questi limiti

Ovviamente come tutti i device elettronici usati fuori specifica esiste un margine di rischio.  Essendo i gridseed realtivamente recenti e altrettanto i tentativi di overclock non esistono informazioni storiche sulla durata di quest'ultimi dopo le vmod, posso dire che per il momento non ho letto qua sul forum di quasti o quantaltro, i miei gridseed lavorano da circa 2 settimane ( 5/04/2014 ) con la VMO2 senza problemi di sorta.
In definitiva mi impegno a modificare i gridseeds con la massima cura e a testarli adeguatamente prima di riconsegnarli tuttavia non posso offrire garanzie di alcun tipo.

Chi effettua la modifica?
Effettuo le modifiche personalmente, non ci sono terze parti coinvolte

Quanto tempo è necessario per riavere i gridseed modificati?
Va tenuto conto dei giorni di spedizione andata-ritorno e del mio tempo per modificare e testare i gridseed
In genere durante i giorni lavorativi posso impiegare un paio di giorni per intervenire su 20 pezzi + 12 ore durante i quali lascio lavorare i gridseed per verificare se sono stabili.

posso consegnare e ritirare i gridseed di persona?
Si, se sei di Genova o dintorni possiamo incontrarci direttamente  


Il tempo che posso dedicare a questi interventi è purtroppo limitato (principalmente dopo lavoro) percui posso modificare solo un tot di gridseed al giorno. Indico qui sotto quindi se sono "disponibile" o "occupato" per accettare altre richieste.

I'm building various mining rigs all in extruded aluminum, that first model is very compact  ( about 52x25x28cm) good for places with little space (like my room   )



the rig can host about 6 gpu, with those spacing:

• 4 gpu - 11cm
• 5 gpu - 7cm
• 6 gpu - 4cm

It can fit big PSU like the Corsair AX1200 (15x86x20cm), 1 or more 2.5"/3.5" hd, some possible future accessories and ATX motherboard
I've added a profile adapter slim ATX motherboard like the  Asrock H81 pro btc
 
Some Features:

• Adjustable: upper bracket is adjustable in height and depth, lower bracket is adjustable both  height and depth , in that way  most gpu's should fit  
• Stackable: rigs can be placed one on top of another
• Modular:   the base frame can be used (with some optional profiles)  as a gridseed rig for 10 modules wide spaced or 20 modules with the fan shut off,    plus some accessories can be added (es: cooling fan)

Accessories:
I've made for first a cooling kit with 3 Aerocool 14x14 low-noise ( 22dba@48CFM ) mounted to an additional bracket that can be placed (and adjusted vertically) on front or back of the rig .





Long story short I'm thinking to sell some rigs if someone is interested, I'm from Italy and I should be able to ship in EU with a decent price ( must check before )

Sto costruendo dei rigs per gpu mining completamente in profilati estrusi in alluminio per usi strutturali.
Il primo modello è una soluzione molto compatta ( circa 52x25x28cm) , adatto per essere usato dove lo spazio scarseggia ( in casa come nel mio caso   )



Il rig può ospitare fino a 6 schede video, all'incirca gli spazi tra le schede sono i seguenti:

• 4 gpu - 11cm
• 5 gpu - 7cm
• 6 gpu - 4cm

E possibile montare un alimentatore oversize come il Corsair AX1200 (tipicamente 15x86x20cm), 1 o più hd da 2.5" o 3.5", eventuali accessori e schede madri standard con form factor ATX.
Ho inserito anche di una staffa di adattamento per le ATX più strette (30.5 cm x 17.8 cm) come la Asrock H81 pro btc

Caratteristiche principali:

• Flessibile: é possibile riposizionare a piacimento in altezza la staffa superiore e sia in altezza che profondità la staffa inferiore, in modo da poter ospitare la stragrande maggioranza delle schede video  
• Stackable: più rigs possono essere montati uno sopra l'altro
• Modulare:  telaio base può essere usato (tramite staffe accessorie) per montare in alternativa 10 gridseed ben spaziati oppure 20 gridseed con ventola disattivata da farli lavorare scrypt only .
• Espandibile:  può essere corredato di eventuali accessori (es: ventole di raffreddamento)

Uno dei primi accessori che ho preparato è un kit di raffreddamento composto da 3 Aerocool 14x14 low-noise ( 22dba@48CFM ) montate sul un profilato e riposizionabili a piacimento...il tutto può essere fissato sul rig, a scelta, anteriormente o posteriormente.





Il costo del rig si aggira circa sui 60€  ( più 8 euro di spese di spedizione), viene spedito semi-assemblato assieme a chiavi e minuteria per completare il montaggio.

I want to place the my rig in the basement but it's far about 70mt and there are couple of thick walls in between...I can't place any cable since the basement is detached from home and is over a public road so the only way is via wifi.

I was thinking about a wifi booster, I guess that I need one for the rig and one for the router... no problem for the rig but the router is in my room and I don't want to have a 1watt booster@2mt from my head 
Anyone can suggest me a possible setup or any similar experience to share? Maybe a combination of booster and directional antennas?
